00:05Andrew Garfield is addressing those Spider-Man No Way Home rumors.
00:09That's right, folks. Spider-Man is, in fact, Peter Parker.
00:14When Garfield joined Jimmy Fallon on NBC's The Tonight Show to talk about his new movie,
00:18The Eyes of Tammy Faye, the host asked the star about an alleged leaked photo from the set of the upcoming Spidey film.
00:24There's a photo going around on the internet of you and Tobey Maguire on the set of Spider-Man.
00:32Yeah, the new Spider-Man movie.
00:34But Garfield played it coy.
00:36And I was like, wow. I'm not sure about that.
00:40We are. We're pretty sure. We're pretty sure about it, so.
00:46Rumors have been swirling for some time that Garfield and Tobey Maguire would be in the film
00:50that puts Tom Holland's Spider-Man in the multiverse with villains from previous Spider-Man film franchises.
00:55However, Garfield maintained that he's not in the movie and said this about the photo.
01:00I heard about it. And I did see it. And it's a Photoshop.
01:05Fallon responded that he did not buy the actor's explanation.
01:08I'm trying to manage expectations. You say no. Oh, you say no.
01:12We're saying no.
01:14We're saying they should reshoot the film.
01:19Congratulations.
01:20But the star says he has seen the first trailer for No Way Home and was impressed.
01:24I have. And I'm excited. And I think that Tom Holland is just the perfect Peter Parker and Spider-Man.
01:32So I'm just super stoked.
01:34Spider-Man No Way Home swings into theaters on December 17th.
