00:12The re-release of the movie starring Brad Pitt
00:14and Leonardo DiCaprio is likely a push for awards season,
00:17with the film creating major buzz for numerous categories.

00:25According to Sony, the re-release
00:26of the Quentin Tarantino film will feature more than
00:2810 minutes of four additional scenes.
00:31The film already ran two hours and 41 minutes.
00:34It will be re-released to more than a thousand venues
00:36in the US and Canada starting Friday.
00:38The announcement of the release comes on the heels
00:40of Tarantino saying he wouldn't re-cut the film
00:42to appease Chinese censors.
00:44That apparently took issue with the portrayal
00:46of Bruce Lee in the movie.
00:47Tarantino's ninth film about 1969 Hollywood
00:50and the Manson family had been approved
00:52for release in China on October 25th,
00:54but regulators abruptly reversed course.
00:57Tarantino held firm with a take it or leave it stance.
01:00The family of Lee expressed major issues
01:02with how the late martial artist was portrayed in the movie.
01:05China's film bureau said Lee's daughter, Shannon Lee,
01:07made a direct appeal to China's
01:09national film administration, asking that it demand changes
01:13to her father's portrayal in the movie.
01:14Shannon Lee did not respond for comment on China's decision.

01:21To date, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood has earned
