00:10Last week, comments that Donald Trump's vice presidential running mate made in 2021 resurfaced
00:15online, where he was seen saying that the U.S. was being run by, quote, a bunch of childless cat
00:20ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they've made, and so they want
00:25to make the rest of the country miserable too. Handler chose to respond to those comments via
00:29Instagram. Listen up, you wingnut elegy. This country is still controlled by men in systems
00:35that were set up by men that are carefully crafted to continue to benefit men. She went on to note
00:40that there is no correlation between being childless and the presidency, saying, for example, our very
00:45first United States president, Mr. George Washington, didn't have children. In fact, he had two
00:50stepchildren. She added, to your point about Kamala not being fit because she's not a mother, I'd like
00:55to remind you that no president in the history of the United States has ever been a mother.
00:59Maybe if she had five kids with three different men and a scandalous affair with a porn star and was
01:04convicted felon, that would be more palatable to Republican men. Handler went on to refer to Vance
01:09as a, quote, diet Mountain Dew drinking couch humping dolphin porn aficionado and said, all of us
01:15childless cat and dog ladies are going to go from childless and crushing it to childless and crushing
01:21you in November. Handler is not the only Hollywood figure to offer a response to Vance's comments.
