00:00Yeah, but I'm hearing some trepidation in your voice there, big boy.
00:03So are there patterns starting to develop, though, offensively?
00:06Are teams starting to figure them out a little bit?
00:09Well, a little bit.
00:10I will say some things that have come up in recent weeks is, you know,
00:15we saw Todd Bowles drop the eight in coverage, and we saw the Bengals do that,
00:19even though Drake did a better job against it this time.
00:22The Bengals, you know, it looked like to me that they had some sort of wrinkles
00:28as far as the Patriots protection, which I haven't seen, you know,
00:32probably since the days of, you know, Rex Ryan.
00:35There was a lot of, like, sort of late movement at the line, you know,
00:38moving a linebacker on the edge of the line.
00:40You know, some of it was just max blitz where they don't have enough guys to block.
00:44But I thought that stuff threw Drake May for a loop a little bit.
00:49The Bengals played more man coverage in this game,
00:52which I think the worst-case scenario for a Patriots team,
00:56and you might see this from the Broncos, the Texans,
00:58should they face them in the postseason.
01:00A team that can get pressure with four a lot of the time
01:04and man up against your, you know, adequate, decent weapons,
01:08but not, you know, anything that's going to blow you away.
01:12And then there's the lack of run blocking,
01:16the lack of being able to get a yard against the Cincinnati Bengals,
01:19their inability to block in short yardage.
01:22You can't really dress that up.
01:26And some of those things could end up, as far as the offense,
01:31being some of the things that we look back on should they get ousted from the playoffs
01:34and be like, yeah, we should have seen that coming.
