00:10This place is incredible. I was just talking to my girlfriend, who's my guest here for the week.
00:15I wish we could stay longer. I love to get to see the keys, but our time here has been incredible so far.
00:20And how long have you been out here?
00:22I've been here at the Reef House Resort and Marina just about 10 years.
00:26And we get to see a lot of people just like yourselves that come here for a day or two and then realize,
00:32maybe I need to come back for a whole week because there's so much to do.
00:35You can spend so much time here. Absolutely.
00:37So for anyone who is coming to the Keys for maybe the first time, what are like three things everyone needs to bring when they do come to the Keys?
00:45You definitely need to bring sunscreen. The sun is bright here. Reef safe sunscreen.
00:50If you have access to a boat or have a boat or can get a boat, you want to get out on the water.
00:56For sure. And obviously you're going to need a bathing suit.

01:00No skinny dipping around the Reef House Resort and Marina. So you're going to need that bathing suit.
01:04That might be all you need literally down here. It's so perfect for that.
01:08You were so nice last night. I got in late. It was a flight situation. Everything's kind of weird right now.
01:12But you were so sweet to send us room service and it was delicious.
01:15What's the food, the vibe like? Again, for someone who maybe hasn't been to the Keys before.
01:20Sure. Well, obviously we're right smack dab in the middle of the Caribbean, the Atlantic Ocean, the Gulf of Mexico or Gulf of America, whichever you choose.
01:29So we've got a lot of options when it comes to seafood.
01:32But we also, you know, Chef Tony, you did miss a great meal from Chef Tony.
01:36He prepares not just the seafood, but also some nice steaks as well.
01:41So quite a bit of mix if you want to get your food on here.
01:44Yeah. Got to come down and see Chef Tony. I'm so bummed I missed that.
01:47Next time, though. Again, why I need to stay an extra day.
01:50There are so many things that people love about the Florida Keys.
01:54But as someone who's been here, what do you think is something that maybe is underrated about the Keys if you've never been?
02:01It lends itself to like a small town atmosphere.
02:04You know, we're a great resort area with a high volume of traffic of tourists.
02:11But if you go, you know, off the beaten path, you'll meet some really nice people.
02:16It's kind of like a real small town feel in Key Largo.
02:19Yeah, for sure. But it's not small at this resort.
02:21I mean, talk about the size of this place and why this is the perfect place to experience the Keys.
02:27Absolutely. So we've got 17 acres to enjoy.
02:30We've also got Mote Marines Reef Growing Facility right here on property.
02:36Lots of activities for the adults and the kids.
02:40Volleyball, basketball, some other games.
02:42Two beaches, a pool that's heated and chilled.
02:46And then a full service dive shop can get you on the water, under the water.
02:50You can do some fishing, wave runners.
02:52You name it, you can do it out of the Reef House Resort and Marina.
02:55I love that.
