On the red carpet of the CMA Awards 2025, we caught up with Brett Young, Cooper Alan, and many more to debate when they put up their Christmas decorations and whether there is such a thing as ‘too early.’

00:13I would decorate in July if I could.

00:17I love Christmas.

00:18Our house is, my wife is a little more like,

00:25But if it was up to me, the tree would go up November 1st.

00:29I feel like what used to be acceptable the day after Thanksgiving

00:32has become acceptable after Halloween.

00:34I decorate for Halloween in August,

00:36and I decorate for Christmas right after Halloween.

00:39I brought the trees down already.

00:41We're probably going to make the girls wait until after Thanksgiving to decorate.

00:44So they're sitting there like semi-naked with just lights on them right now.

00:47But I like the feel of a tree in the house.

00:50As long as the ghosts and the witches are down,

00:53I feel like it's acceptable to put a tree up.

00:56Just don't mix them.

00:57Yeah, no, no, no, that would be a little bit unique, yeah.

01:00Nothing with Santas yet, but like the lights and like the holiday vibes.

01:08So for me, I just calculate how many days I'm actually going to get to be home with my decorations.
