00:00What's up? It's Brew, and today we are at Robby's, and you've got to correct me to make sure I'm right on this.

00:10We just wrapped up with the tarpon feeding.

00:12Unreal, because today we had not only tarpons, we had manatee.

00:16We had a, was it a nurse shark over there?

00:19Definitely a nurse shark.

00:20Oh my gosh. So obviously this is the hot spot for fishing.

00:22Tell us all about Robby's as a whole, though.

00:24No problem. So Robby's is a family-owned vacation spot.

00:28We do, you know, fishing charters. We do the tarpon feeding.

00:31We have a restaurant site. Tons of shops and everything else.

00:34Kayaks, paddle boards, jet skis, and boat railings.

00:36It's really like, you know, kind of like one-stop shop.

00:39It's been in business since 1976.

00:42Yeah. Explain the vibe to it, too. There's dollar bills everywhere.

00:44We did the food testing and got to get a taste of the keys.

00:48We had key lime pie. We had that soup that was unreal.

00:50What are those balls again that are like...

00:51Those are going to be conch fritters, and you had some conch chowder along with that history tour.

00:55And we got the history of it, too, of how the conch wars and everything.

00:58That parade's coming up or the 10-day celebration.

01:01So much fun.

01:02But, yeah, explain the vibe for those that haven't been to the Keys before.

01:05No problem. So at Robby's, like I said, it's a family-owned.

01:07It's a laid-back, a true, like, Keys destination and stuff like that.

01:12You know, at first sight, you know, you come in.

01:13It's nothing fancy or anything else like that.

01:16We sell you a bait of dead fish there to hand-feed some tarpon and stuff.

01:20You'll see all kinds of, like, pelicans, nerd sharks, like Brew was talking about earlier.

01:23There's Jack Reveille's.

01:25Everything here at Robby's is wild.

01:27So as far as that feel, you really get that Florida Keys authentic feel.

01:31And we got boats behind us here.

01:32People are hanging out on the beach.

01:34Tell me about the fishing tours and what they can do when they go out on the water.

01:37Yeah, no problem.

01:37So we offer every type of fishing charter from backcountry, reef, offshore.

01:43We do a big party boat for more affordable fishing, which starts at, like, $100.

01:47All the way up to your more, like, custom charters, private charters and everything else.

01:52We've got boats ranging anywhere from 16 foot to 42 foot.

01:56Boats with bathrooms on board as well and everything else.

01:59So what you see here is all these people are lining up to watch.

02:02The boats have just came back in, and so they're cleaning today's catch and everything else.

02:06Oh, my gosh.

02:07Which is a big popular thing to do here at Robby's.

02:09Yeah.

02:10Literally everything's here.

02:11You could just show up to Robby's and your whole day.

02:13And just hang out the whole day.

02:14All right.

02:15So how do you feed the fish?

02:15What's the proper technique?

02:17Because they're jumping out of the water.

02:19What else could you find over there, too, by the way?

02:20First of all, the proper technique so that you don't get scraped up.

02:23First of all, tarpon don't have teeth.

02:25It's almost like a little sandpaper.

02:27So if you stick your arm straight down like this, they can actually jump up and scrape you up.

02:30So we recommend you put the bait between your fingers like this, where you've got the tail up, head down, palm flat,

02:36arm straight out, hold it about that high off the water, and then it's going to jump right up.

02:40Take it out of your hand.

02:41For your next vacation, you're ready to feed the tarpons down here at Robby's.

03:13Or you can actually rent a boat if you're experienced, you know, to drive around and kind of check out all the wildlife around Robby's.

03:19What's your favorite personal thing about the Keys?

03:22The laid-back vibe and the one road in, one road out.
