00:00Television's biggest stars finally celebrated the 2023 Emmys on Monday night.
00:04Viewers at home saw Succession, The Bear and Beef dominate the ceremony.
00:08But what did the cameras miss?
00:10I'm Tiffany Taylor for The Hollywood Reporter here at the Emmys,
00:13and we're showing you the moments you didn't see on TV.
00:16Ahead of the ceremony, THR spotted Selena Gomez heading to her seat
00:20with newly official boyfriend, Vinny Blanco.
00:22No surprise, Gomez was seated next to her only Murders in the Building co-stars,
00:26Martin Short and Steve Martin.
00:27Meanwhile, on the red carpet, stars were seen hugging it out
00:30like The Bear's Eben Moss Backrack and Better Call Saul's Raya Sehorne
00:34and Coleman Domingo and Cheryl Lee Ralph.
00:36Once the show started, the audience kept getting on their feet,
00:39giving standing ovations to the likes of Christina Applegate,
00:41Carol Burnett, Marla Gibbs,
00:43lead actress and a comedy series winner Quinta Brunson,
00:46and Niecy Nash, the only person to get the room to jump to their feet
00:49after her emotional speech.
00:51And you know who I want to thank?
00:52I want to thank me.
00:54For believing in me and doing what they said I could not do.
01:01While Pedro Pascal was presenting the award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series,
01:05he explained why his arm is currently in a sling.
01:07However, the Fox broadcast censored pretty much everything he said.
01:11And I think tonight is a perfect time to tell everyone that Kieran Col-
01:16inside the room, the audience heard Pascal jokingly claim that Succession star Kieran Col-
01:23beat him up, or as he put it,
01:26Kieran Col- beat the- out of me.
01:28Fans of the two actors know that pals Pascal and Col-
01:30love to give each other a hard time,
01:32as exhibited in our Drama TV Actors Roundtable.
01:35I'm a daddy, nobody likes my daddy part.
01:36I love it!
01:41What did you just say?
01:42I'm a daddy, nobody likes my daddy part?
01:44They like your daddy parts.
01:45I got you.
01:46And when Col- can win Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series,
01:49he revealed that he wants to have more children while thanking his wife Jazz and their two kids.
01:53And Jazz, I want more.
01:55You said, you said maybe if I win.
02:02Later in the press room, he explained the headline-making moment.
02:05I've been asking for a while, and my wife, Jazz, said,
02:09maybe if you win the Emmy, ha ha ha.
02:12And I didn't bring it up for months, and then when I won the Globe,
02:15I said, you remember what you said?
02:17And she was like, what?
02:18No, what did I say?
02:19I don't remember this.
02:19And I told her, and it all came back to her.
02:21So then she spent the whole week being nervous.
02:23And instead of just talking to her in private like a human,
02:27I just blasted her on stage, which was very rude.
02:30And after the show, winners like Steven Yeun and Lee Sung Jin of Beef
02:33were spotted getting their Emmys engraved at the Governor's Gala.
02:37For much more from the 75th Emmys, including red carpet interviews
