00:20Jacobson and Will Graham and Sony TV dropped a teaser trailer on Tuesday offering a glimpse

00:25of the new cast, including Jacobson, Shantae Adams, Darcy Carden, and Melanie Field.

00:35The creators previously spoke to The Hollywood Reporter, saying their take would lean hard

00:40into sexuality and racism, topics that were not central to Marshall's 1992 film starring Gina Davis.

00:47Graham said in part,

00:48It's a story that has queer subtext and how you can find a place on the field.

00:52I started looking into the queer history of the league and started thinking of it.

00:55Jacobson added of diversifying the series, saying when Will and I started talking about the ways

00:59in which we wanted to do our version, that felt more real, nuanced, and gritty and a way to

01:04incorporate more women's stories. The entire first season of A League of Their Own is set to debut on
