00:00Lea Michele performs Cannonball for the first time, plus her Glee co-stars react to the new song.
00:08Hi everyone, I'm Brian Corsetti for ENTV, and HollywoodLife.com has all the details.
00:14Lea Michele performed her first single, Cannonball, from her debut album on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday.
00:30The performance was a positive ending to a mostly emotional interview, where she talked about dealing with the loss of her boyfriend Cory Monteith, and how the loss inspired her music.
00:40I explained to her, you know, how grief really just, you can get sucked into it, and you can literally lose yourself. If you don't actually die from it, you could, you know, lose yourself completely.
00:51The song has already been topping charts around the world since its release earlier this week.
00:56Naturally, her Glee co-stars took to Twitter to support their star player.
01:00Cord Overstreet wrote,
01:01If y'all haven't heard any of Lea Michele's music yet, you seriously need to get it so you can listen over and over.
01:09Amber Riley tweeted,
01:10Go girl, got my copy.
01:13While Kevin McHale cheered her on, saying,
01:15Woohoo, Lea Michele's song comes out, go get it.
01:19Darren Criss gushed over Lea's sexy new album cover, writing,
01:23Looking good girl, can't wait.
01:26The album is titled Louder, and is set to release sometime next year.
01:30I'm Brian Corsetti.
