It’s official: Bill O’Reilly will not return to Fox News. The host is now out of a job, following the revelations that O’Reilly settled several sexual harassment claims. Many advertisers are pulling out of his Fox News program as a result.

00:21Parent company 21st Century Fox said in a statement on Wednesday,
00:25After a thorough and careful review of the allegations, the company and Bill O'Reilly have agreed that Bill O'Reilly will not be returning to the Fox News channel.
00:34O'Reilly has been hosting the network's 8 p.m. program The O'Reilly Factor for two decades,
00:39and it's been the No. 1 show in cable news for 15 consecutive years, bringing in more than $400 million in ad revenue between 2014 and 2016.
00:48According to the network, Tucker Carlson will take O'Reilly's old slot in the 8 p.m. hour.
00:53While The Five is moving to prime time and Eric Bolling is getting a 5 p.m. show.
00:57Carlson replaced Megyn Kelly when she left last January, and his show Tucker Carlson Tonight was an immediate hit.
01:03This news comes as 67-year-old O'Reilly has been vacationing in Italy for the past week.
01:08The host briefly shook hands with Pope Francis during the Vatican's weekly meeting with the public on Wednesday,
01:13the same day he lost his job. O'Reilly said in a statement,
01:16It is tremendously disheartening that we part ways due to completely unfounded claims.
01:21He added,
01:22I will always look back on my time at Fox with great pride in the unprecedented success we achieved
01:27and with my deepest gratitude to all my dedicated viewers. I wish only the best for Fox News Channel.
