00:48we saw ruby become a lengting bitch we saw an oscar worthy performance from martin and jack

00:55and camp mates building a shelter from rain that smelled like we maybe kelly was showering above

01:01them maybe here's what's coming up on today's show sean walsh is back on the sofa to talk about

01:05all things jungle eddie will be answering your questions in the bush telegraph we'll be chatting

01:09to thomas friend and celebs go dating co-star paul c brunson back in uk and we'll also be hearing

02:48for the camp and then everybody's on a level playing that's good it's back i suppose when

02:52you're in there as well and you you're assigning duties and you're kind of giving orders it's good

02:57that you you must want to get involved and get amongst it yeah surely i'm really excited to see

03:02what tom does in a trial you know what i mean will we break some brilliant words i'm gonna have a

03:09dictionary on standby tomorrow or will he completely crack got you a lot of people have been texting

03:25when he's putting that on like how can you put that on yeah that's just him it's one of those people

03:29that when he went oh yeah i can tap dance you're like yeah of course you can yeah of course i wanted to

03:36come out with an autobiography i need to know everything about this man's life yeah i love him

03:39so much i we are just fascinated by him honestly honestly just watching the vts back in the morning

03:45we're like let's just can we watch it again yeah so i understand one of the uh crew members who works

03:51on your show i know who's australian said if steve ervin was the most australian australian there was

03:58then tom is the most english english man he really is it's so true it's so true um we need to talk

04:05about the trial that we've just seen full 12 stars which is really good much needed yeah did you enjoy

04:11the acting oh i hate all that oh i love it i love it oh it winds me right up really i think it was the

04:19best ever yeah it was i think it's the best one that's ever been done well because there was four of

04:23them as well yeah coordinated yeah you know it relied on four performances there there was crying

04:29yeah it was i'll tell you what i've got an idea uh you've got a background in acting um

04:39and i was just wondering if you deck had just done the trial you've got all of the stars yeah and you

04:47want to come back into aunt who's in the camp we're the campmates right um can you recreate how you do that

04:52go do some you know i'm a terrible giggler so i'm probably should i go out and come in oh yeah you

04:56want to come into the role yes please you want to do i want to build your part build your part guys i'm

05:04sorry listen before i tell you how many i got i've just got to tell you it was pigeons

05:30so small it's so small it's so small i know it's so delicate i know but like the australian ones oh

05:37they're vicious oh so how many stars did you get none no no well that's understandable pretty

05:43chirpy yeah well i'm honestly for someone who didn't come back with any stars like the sparrows i

05:51have quite chirpy oh it wasn't pigeons either that was absolutely fantastic i'm sweating a little bit

06:03i'm so pleased you asked him because if you asked me i just wouldn't have done it

06:10i really enjoyed that what was your favorite clip of the day oh by far it was ginger itch

06:17in the pool acting the most laddish we've ever seen them act it was so fantastic really good let's

07:09today oh this completely came out of the bluetooth yeah yeah oh my gosh and they're both single

07:15yeah yeah yeah there they are and there was sort of there was that little chat about tadpoles anuses

07:21which is really i don't know how the young people flirt these days but apparently it's all new words

07:28isn't it it's all new words that's probably one of them do you want to see a jungle romance yes yes

07:33it's been a minute hasn't it oh my god it's been a while it's been a while since we've had a proper

07:39one on this show so we'd love to see it oh we love it right we'd celebrate it that'd be great it'd be great

07:44for us in the studio for links this is the thing i wondered that you obviously it's been shows been

07:52going on for ages and it's absolutely incredible and you guys you're involved in the live trials

07:56you're involved in the live links you're involved in such a massive part of all of this look we do

08:01the cooking yeah you do the cooking you clean the toilet what is your favorite part of doing this

08:07whole show uh the live show it's always about sure you know it's always it's getting in watching

08:12the watching the vts and then kind of helping you know uh create what what happens in only a couple

08:18of hours because we haven't seen we don't know what the show is going to be when you go to bed the

08:22next day which is unlike any other show you we work on you know because you normally have a script

08:26and there's rehearsals we've just got to turn up and see what they've been up to so that's what we

08:30love is getting out of the car here we arrive on site about half three in the morning and we get

08:34out and like we come into the viewing room and go what have they been doing yeah yeah and we sit there and

08:39watch the show watch what they've been up to and that's my favorite yeah just seeing something

08:44come from nothing and it's built into an entire show yeah it from an outsider's point of view to

08:49watch your show it's just so fun to see it all come together yeah yeah it's so fun you you're touching

08:53on your bedtime here which is you know you obviously get up at three days um this is my weird question

08:58of the day oh come on um what time do you go to bed usually back in the uk um i should go to bed

09:04earlier but probably about midnight oh it's quite late it's late with a baby yeah yeah i know it's

09:10a bit too late to be honest with you but i don't get stuck into a box set and i you know i like once

09:15i start i can't stop the problem with me it's always been his problem to these things please i'm not

09:23gonna i'm not gonna preempt you what you're gonna say day for please say eight time yeah uh yeah it's

09:28about nine o'clock yes nine o'clock well we sit on the sofa me and me and ali we put the kids to bed we'll have

09:33something to eat we'll sit on the sofa watch telly and we go we could be in bed watching this so we

09:37just go up to bed watch telly in bed uh watch the news headlines at 10 lights out this is what a very

09:43deck thing to do yeah i love it watch the news headlines they're like good as leave i need to keep

11:29show very funny ruby at her best i want just ruby to have her own camera on her where we can just

11:36switch like red button it and it's just the ruby camera that's true great show ironically it would be

11:40the red button as well hey it's a fun joke it's one of the a ones and not a laugh i enjoyed it i

11:48enjoyed it what was your favorite moment for today favorite moment i think i think it has to be them

11:53coming in you mentioned it event and it has to be them coming in and pretending that they had failed

11:58the trial which of course everyone normally does everyone comes in i think i've even done it and you

12:03come in and i'm sorry were you as good as that i wasn't as good as that i mean leonardo dicaprio is

12:09looking at that going i've lost my oscar do you know what i mean that was unbelievable martin kent

12:15was crying it was unbelievable jack was really angry like i was like this is so dread like does it ever

12:22not like did it annoy you when someone did it to you in the camp yes because you're starving yeah all

12:27you want is food and they come in and they're having a little fun game with you and you just

12:32you just want to eat this isn't the type of game yeah but then what about like you're low low low low

12:37and then they're like well we've got all the stars is that not like wow well no not there it was fine

12:43i think there it was amazing oh man because we were all full i mean they actually made me doubt

12:48whether they got the stars did they get the stars yes yes same with me angry what a performance

12:54yeah unbelievable yeah just loved it so much so today h revealed that he has a soft spot for shona

13:00but he's not the only one who thinks they'd make a good couple let's take a quick look

13:05her and h are single now

13:08hey no look at the two of them they would make a gorgeous they would and they're the same age

13:14and they've both got those bright bright blue eyes yeah and they both love music

13:21what do you think of that it's very interesting isn't it it is i just want to say i don't know if

13:25that's how connection works they've got blue eyes that doesn't that's not how we've both got the same

13:31colored hair i don't think that's yeah a connection is it i don't know i don't know how it works these

13:37days i haven't flirted for a long time john i have no idea kemi do you think there's a jungle romance i'm not

13:43sure you know really i you know i know lots of people getting excited about it but i just feel

13:48like it's two people going like oh i've got a soft spot for in a friendly way no okay when i saw it

13:54h and jinj that conversation was the most like laddie opening up about feelings conversation i've ever had

14:01they're like hey i might have a thing for shona and ginger's like yeah but this is a mate though right

14:05yeah yeah yeah yeah that's exactly what i meant like that was him just being like i'm just gonna throw

14:10out my feelings and see how it gets received and then ginger's like nah and i don't even get why

14:13she gets nervous and it was like oh i think h is just trying to like just put yourself out there a

14:18little bit and ginger's like i'm having none of that i don't i i don't agree with you at all i think

14:23to be on a show this big and to just put it out there that you have a soft spot for someone that's

14:29a huge that's a huge thing he realizes on a show because five days in do you not forget that you're

14:35being filmed you do of course that does happen you know we've seen that with kelly brooke telling

14:41people that she's weeing in the shower i don't think you remember that you're being filmed when

14:45you say that but i just i just think to to put your feelings out there in this situation is huge

14:51but that's what the jungle does like it intensifies all of the emotions if you think about that moment

14:57that they had earlier on in the episode where they were sat down on a step and they were i think a

15:03normally romantic situation would be like walking along the river making that connection maybe looking at

15:09the sunset they're sat on a step talking about whether or not a tadpole has an arsehole yeah

15:14do you know what i mean that's connecting in the jungle but it's just the word soft spot that's all it

15:19was so like i have a soft spot for you sean i have a soft spot for dogs doesn't mean we want to have

15:23sex with them it's like a different thing like you want to have sex with them lies lies

15:31that protest too much keep the dogs away from joel everyone keep them away do you think do you think

15:41do you think that that she's got a soft spot for him do you think it's reciprocated that i think it

15:46might be a little bit too early to tell oh i would like to see over the next couple of days the

15:50developments okay yeah watch the space i'm here for it i want it to happen you know if you're not charmed

15:55by someone talking about whether or not tampa is an arsehole then there's something wrong with you

16:00and i'll i would say this now i googled it they do so there we go they do don't check my history but i

16:28loz uh if you were to swap careers with any one of the celebrities which one would you switch with

16:33and why well loz i would uh quickly i was soccer is alex scott she's met maradona like as a childhood

16:41boy and as a child you know a little boy i wanted to be a footballer like every little boy and the fact

16:46that she's you know played for english she's got a legacy cap a full-blown lioness but she's met diego

16:51maradona when she told me this my mouth dropped and like i'd sometime i just lean next to her just

16:56you know get hot spotted talent i swear and she's so quiet quiet and i'm like you have done it you've

17:04got all the way to the top by the end that's interesting yeah but but she's also she's also

17:07an awesome support so maybe let's just pipe it down yeah maybe not something different lily wants to

17:12know what's your favorite thing about the jungle my favorite thing about the jungle lily is the the

17:16community meetings we have we have these conversations in the morning that our good

17:20old jack came up with and it's like basically therapy and therapy is expensive so i'm getting

17:26it for free imagine imagine ruby wax and marty kemp being your therapist like it's literally gold

17:33so good this is a bit of a rogue one and it's from william if you could be one insect what would

17:38it be oh my god guys i'll tell you what you know i came across the other day a dragonfly yeah it was in

17:44blue and i thought this guy's a better dresser than me i was a bit jealous if i was a dragonfly

17:50because i feel like it's the same one but every night it's a different color and i feel like

17:54literally this guy's a high street shopper changing clothes every night i listen some nice blue boots

17:59on the other day and i thought this is a bit of me man me being congolese yeah the dressing dragonfly

18:05come on uh josie has asked uh what do you miss most that you didn't expect to i thought i'll be

18:13all right with salt you know i thought i'll be all right especially you know you go to the doctor

18:17and say pipe down on the salt let me tell you something we want we want salty popcorn last night

18:22yeah and i whispered to the chef kelly i said chef kelly don't give out the salty popcorn just

18:26dash it in the food please she's looking at me like i'm mad i said please i'm begging you

18:30that's in the food yeah salts man i miss it oh there's no seasoning so interesting the seasoning

18:36we're getting is oxygen i'm seasoning enough babe um paige wants to know what's the scariest thing

18:42about literally living in a jungle uh you know what yeah i thought i lied to you the scariest

18:47thing is aunt and deck i promise you and and when they walk in you're looking at them like the enemy

18:53of progress because we could be having a nice little chinwag having a community meeting i'm about

18:57to finish off my rice and they're coming there's pj and donton coming to ruin our day once again

19:02because you know they're about to i ever send you out there and that moment when they're looking

19:07they're going eddie it might be you oh gosh yeah apart from that the old snake that might

19:15sweet food no snakes i've seen in the camp yet but oh god oh god fingers crossed you don't uh lincoln

19:20says who's your best friend in camp just give me one name oh jack ah oh jack that's my guy he's been

21:13great so much and i think they've been waiting for this moment as well like they've been put in

21:17a little hierarchy thing they've been the chief explorers i think they're like so wanting to just

21:22not be othered you know what i mean they want to get like into camp and it's really nice they're

21:26forming good friendships because we're worried it's gonna be a bit frosty yesterday didn't we yes

21:30actually it seems to be going really well yeah i would say as well i do wonder with tom you know

21:36and i love tom but he he loves as you should do loves being the center of attention you know with

21:41the sonnets and then the vocal warm-ups and the shakespeare and he get up he got up and did a dance

21:48and they're all clapping i wonder does vogue sometimes feel a bit maybe left up because you've

21:53gone in there together yes so you're kind of equal and then suddenly he's up there doing his

21:58the problem with tom is you can only you can only do his voice when you're doing an impression

22:02of him but you can't actually do a real impression of him because you don't know the words yourself

22:07to do the impression of him so it's absolutely impossible to do an impression

22:13it's like a basic version yeah you can embellish it a little bit exactly yeah it's like interesting you

22:18say that because you obviously went in with matt hancock yes so did you feel overshadowed by him when you

22:23win it well when he came in through the bushes i thought well i'm not doing any trials i'm absolutely

22:30i'm absolutely fine i'm off the hook that's true but you are you are paired up and i just think you

22:36know obviously with with hancock he was a politician and so he wasn't there i mean he did start singing

22:41ed sheeran songs at one point but generally speaking that he wasn't as um should we say as talented

22:47as multi-talented as tom so i wonder what that feels like for vogue sometimes does it feel

22:53slightly like maybe you're in the background yeah i don't know about you guys but i was getting the

22:57sense that the other campmates are trying to like like i don't know like trying to warm them up like

23:02try and get the badges like being really like complimentary and saying lovely things and like

23:06welcoming them in just because they want a badge because they know it means a treat at the end of it did

23:10you guys get that vibe yeah maybe maybe sort of trying to get them on their good side just sort of get by

23:16giving out the badges and stuff a little bit yes yeah but then it's also interesting that the two

23:21that were left out was uh alex scott and shona so there's always going to be someone left out from

23:26that and i wonder how that makes them feel you know that's a horrible feeling yeah being in there

23:31feeling left out is that's the worst feeling that you can get i think when you're in when you're in the

23:36jungle and they've already just done another trial yes so like if i was them i would feel so angry

23:42like even though i know it's no one's like fault really like they couldn't get taken on the expedition

23:45because they'd just done the trial but now they have to do another trial oh i've been fuming and

23:50and also i would say shona and alex are probably the quietest i'd say in the bunch yeah and um and

23:55through no fault of their own and i think that's probably why they didn't get a badge was just

23:59because they're just quieter people i think that's okay i'm very excited to see tom and vogue do a

24:03trial tomorrow i just think it's going to be such a revelation yes just like i said before to see tom in

24:10that situation i'm like what is he going to be like is he a screamer yeah almost certainly and i

24:15know this perilous situation you put me in and to death i don't know what to do it's like dick said

24:22or is he going to suddenly just go what the hell are we doing gaza a crocodile i can't handle it

24:30it was an act he was putting it on it's so good i don't think i've been this excited for a trial

24:36yeah the whole series i'm like what are they going to be like it's going to be so fun uh time now for

24:40another unseen clip it's been an emotional camp this year lots of touching moments and even ginger's

24:46elbows are touching take a look at this i've got one for you can you do this oh oh that's good

24:55that's very that's very useful in life

25:00elbows need to be at the top what do you mean elbows well your elbows are at the bottom there but

25:03they need to be at the top do you need to chuck them in my hands are at the bottom you know oh yeah

25:08that's freakish no i can't do that it's freakish i'm obviously all doing that at home night now oh is

25:19that i've never felt so stiff in my life it's just some yoga i can't do it guys my lats are too big

25:26i'm actually just too muscly so if the question is uh do you ever get bored when you're in the jungle

25:33there's your answer yes yeah it's so weird this beautiful time so i love this show so much

25:39because the day four day five when it's like they've kind of shared everything that they know

25:44about each other all these deep dark secrets and their past nothing and then it gets like

25:49can you touch your elbows you know it's what did you do when you were there to sort of fill that fun

25:56void oh god yes when you've you've kind of shared everything about yourself like eddie said you've done

26:01all the therapy i think we had jill scott in there obviously and i think she ended up organizing a

26:08five-a-side football match right sounds exciting with an invisible ball oh i was going to say what

26:15did you fashion a ball no no no invisible ball it's so great i just i love it and also the other

26:20thing that it sort of forces them to do on this sort of day is people connect that you wouldn't expect

26:25so ruby i think she's really connecting with the younger generation in there which i didn't think

26:29was something that we'd see i just think it's so brilliant i kind of expected it though because

26:34i don't think it's anything to do with age i think ruby wants to be chatting with the people who are the

26:39funniest and the most charismatic like she's a comedian isn't she like yeah it's got comedy chops

26:45and h and jinge they're just so funny as a double act but one-on-one i think she likes that energy

26:50she can hit a joke a sarcastic one and it comes straight back yeah it's more the energy it almost

26:56like like they're the ones that can take her banter basically yeah that word but yes they're the ones

27:00that sort of give it back yeah yeah that's really really interesting i like that i like that it's all

27:05fun and games at the moment but do you think people might start to sort of get a bit more competitive

27:10as we go forwards sean well i think even with the you know the badges if you think about the badges and

27:17that means breakfast yeah eddie said it there you want salt i can't this is sometimes the frustration

27:24with when you've been in the jungle is you can't put across to people how much you want salt how much

27:32you want sugar i mean breakfast that means carbs yeah like do you know what i mean you're thinking

27:36about carbs when ann and dag went in the disappointment on alex and shona's face where

27:41they weren't getting breakfast was just like oh it means so much this h and shona it is only we had

27:47a love guru to speak to that is right tom's buddy from celebs go dating it's paul c brunson everyone

27:56paul how are you my friends i'll tell you what it is good to see all of you i wanted to say

28:03i believe in the shona h love connection yes i believe in it yes of course you do you believe in

28:09everyone don't you paul uh how do you think tom's getting on in there oh my gosh tom is the best you

28:16know i think what we have to all accept is that he is just memorizing you can't take your eyes off

28:22of him and what i love about tom and you see he's doing this is he makes every room better with his

28:28present and that's the reason why he's loved so much yeah it's so true everyone's just like re-brightened

28:34up i just i i love him so much i think he's so amazing he's so well put together do you think

28:40like he'll be able to maintain his usual sort of decorum in the jungle do you know what i mean

28:46you know what i'm gonna say is that he is the cleanest outfit out of everyone right now he's the

28:51cleanest and i think that's the only place that i worry for tom because he smells immaculate all the

28:57time and i know that by now he can't smell great i think that's going to be his concern is how he

29:06smells but also how that you know how the attire looks that's my only concern it's not going to stay

29:12clean for long like come on he's surely got like paul give us a tea one gross habit oh just one of them

29:19surely he's got one i tell you he this is this is the thing about tom is that i have never seen a bad

29:26habit but i'll tell you what he doesn't like at all and i've begun to see it crop up is he doesn't

29:32like meanness he doesn't like people who are unkind he doesn't react well to them and i've begun to see

29:38that just a little bit just a little bit that's interesting well obviously he's going to be facing

29:44a trial tomorrow he's getting fully stuck into the jungle experience are you excited to see that

29:48this man will go through worms and snakes and rats and rodents he'll eat anything

30:04he'll swim through anything there's nothing this man can't do oh that's so interesting i really like

30:10the fact that you think he's just going to go full on it because we're really sort of speculating how

30:14he's going to do you think he's going to do really well oh absolutely i love it i think the achilles

30:19feel and the part that i'm i am concerned about is that he's very empathetic so the moment that others

30:26are going through stress or hurt or sadness he's going to feel that as well and he'll be impacted by

30:33it who do you think he's going to bond with the most in there then oh my gosh well let me ask you

30:39who do you think is the kindest person at camp right now i'm going to say lisa yeah

30:45i think that's empathetic all right there you go it would be lisa then and i've already seen

30:52a nice lisa tom bond already yeah i know him so well i love this i love that i'm being tested i'm like

31:00well okay let me like flip on his head then who do you reckon he might clash with the most yeah and

31:04you've got to give us a name this time paul i'm not falling for those tricks all right

31:09i i will but i'll say this who do you think is the most

33:40getting on great it was great to see her take on her first challenge that expedition and i thought

33:46she was perfectly suited to it and in terms of the shelter building element of it because she has two

33:52degrees one in construction design and management would you believe and another one in quantity

33:56surveyed so wow that is the kind of information we want from a phone guest i love that what do you

34:03think is going to make her an amazing campaign i think vogue is very resourceful and she's a doer

34:10she'll get involved and and she won't stand on the sidelines i'd say she's very motivational as well

34:16so yeah i'd say she'll get stuck in and she definitely won't be standing on the sidelines for sure

34:21yeah what did you make of the campmates reaction to her and tom's late arrival

34:27oh i didn't really like that now obviously my protective instinct kind of kicked in

34:32but i i do feel you know obviously they're kind of that's done for a reason and you know you're going

34:38to be if you've already put in this log and been in there from the beginning you're going to be a bit

34:41kind of territorial but i have no doubt she'll turn that around and and she'll end up being best

34:46pals with most of them in in no time i feel like we're seeing that already which is so lovely obviously

34:51you've known vogue all of her life what was she like growing up oh we were best we were best

34:58we are best friends uh she was great crack we always have gotten along very very well we

35:04just have all the crack all the time and she mad for dollies and stuff like that growing up

35:10uh mad for dressing up was there any like annoying habits or anything oh not really any i'd say at

35:21the moment like with who she is at the moment i wouldn't say her habits are annoying she does love

35:25now i do love to talk about sleep as well so i'd say you'll see her talking about sleep on the show

35:30and i wouldn't say she has any gross habits she does have a terrible inability to do nothing always

35:36has to be busy but that i think will stand to her in the jungle so i'm excited to see that uh yeah

35:41and what else do you think she'll find difficult about jungle life i feel like naturally she's gonna

35:47miss the kids she'll mix miss benny i hope she's missing me we usually have a daily phone call at

35:52about 7 00 a.m so i went to call her today and obviously realized no that's not possible so um

35:58it i think it's and she'll love it she likes to eat so she'll miss she'll miss her three square round

36:04meals every day it's true i mean i know spencer and uh i think she'll miss the kids but i don't

36:09think she'll miss him controversial she's getting on so well with tom which i really love but is there

36:19anyone else that you see in there that sort of she'll get on well with

36:22well three the three she did the expedition task with so ruby h and ginge i feel her kind of

36:30i don't know kind of being drawn to them i also feel like she'll get up i think she'll get on with

36:34everyone i don't see her not getting on with anyone but she did she was going to always make

36:39a beeline for ruby wax she wants to be best pals at ruby so um oh i love that so you don't think there's

36:45anyone that can maybe like ruffle her feathers like a little bit oh yeah no i think if anyone does kind

36:51of we'd be she wouldn't be confrontational but she would make her feelings no and i think she'd be

36:55very um fair in the way that she would address things if someone kind of got under her skin let's

37:00say yes but i don't imagine that's going to happen she's not afraid to be strong which i like about

37:05folk what luxury do you think she'll miss the most now she's in camp question fake tan obviously

37:12i completely agree but she looks amazingly tanned already you've got the real sun in order to uh

38:23strapped in tents with snakes and then the others have to find the keys but they're going to be in

38:28offal and fish oh no so it's kind of horrendous no matter where you are right it means you have to

38:33rely on the other two to do something right and if they're not finding it and you're literally in

38:37there and snakes are slithering all over you're going to get really frustrated yes you are i remember

38:42that that's the yeah that's all coming back to you now yes yeah when you're relying on the other

38:45the other part of the team that's to do the work for you and they're not doing it it's very very

38:50frustrating yes that is frustrating i like that i like that i'm gonna give again i'm so excited to see
