21:10She was such an amazing camping and she put up with absolutely loads of rain last year.
21:16Today was the first like proper biblical storm for this year's camp.
21:21How much does weather affect the camp?
21:23Did you guys have much rain when you were in there?
21:25We didn't have loads, did we?
21:26No, we had a great time.
21:27Yeah.
21:28And you used to get like bits of sun through the trees and you'd just get a little bit
21:33of vitamin D and it really brightened up your day so I can see how it would affect the mood.
21:37Yes.
21:38I think one of the things that isn't really spoken about too much in the jungle is that
21:42it's really uncomfortable.
21:43You kind of don't really get that impression necessarily but you don't have a back on the
21:47seat, you have a too hot, you know, the beds aren't very comfortable so the rain just
21:53adds to that and it makes the experience even harder, even more grating.
21:57I think it has an effect on that.
21:58When it is raining, how do you keep all your stuff dry?
22:01Oh, that is the toughest part, isn't it?
22:03We wouldn't learn.
22:05No.
22:06Well, I tell you actually it's the drying the cloves.
22:07Yeah.
22:08That's when our cloves got wet is when we washed them and then you had to dry them.
22:11They don't wash them for you?
22:12It's so moist down there, nothing really dries.
22:14Yeah.
22:15No.
22:16So it's just nothing really dry, it's really hard to dry stuff.
22:18What we used to do is we would like, because you can't dry your socks when you get wet,
22:23you just don't dry.
22:24Yeah.
22:25And so, don't tell anyone this, but you should just, every now and again we'd just throw
22:29our socks on the fire.
22:30What?
22:31And then they would just burn and they'd be like, oh no, I burnt my socks, can I have
22:34a new pair?
22:35And then like, they don't want to leave you with no socks.
22:37Yeah.
22:38Oh my goodness.
22:39Yeah.
22:40I don't think that's allowed.
22:41No, that sounds like it's not allowed.
22:42Do you use washing powder?
22:43Do they give you washing powder?

22:45A little bit of washing up like soap.

22:50I remember actually being in the water washing and boy George asking for my soap.
22:55And I gave him it and he washed every bit of his body and then went to give us it back
22:59and I was like, oh, you can keep that one.

23:03My clothes smell of boy George's bits.
23:09I picked it as a souvenir.
23:12And for the first time we also saw an emotional side of Ginge as well, which was really nice
23:19I thought.
23:20It was really interesting.
23:21You know what I'm made by saying that, right, Kevin?
23:23Yeah, I guess like he's being more vulnerable.
23:26It's never nice seeing someone upset, but I feel like Ginge is a really good character
23:30because I only knew Ginge is like angry Ginge, like the guy who shouts on like Twitch.
23:34Do you know what I mean?
23:35And he's come in and we saw him a couple of days ago with Jack.
23:37You might have missed this, but Jack, when he was crying, he said, oh, don't worry.
23:41I won't cry anymore.
23:42And Ginge hits you guys like that.
23:43And he's like, men cry too, which is just such a beautiful moment.
23:46I'm seeing it online.
23:47Loads of people are talking about it.
23:48Then of course, Ginge is like unapologetically just having his moment.
23:51He's taking himself off.
23:52It is really hard to be away from home.
23:54If you've never done it before, some people go away and they do like uni or, you know, apprenticeship
23:59or go abroad for the year travelling.
24:01If you haven't done that, and I don't actually know about Ginge's background,
24:03if this is the first time he's been away from home with no contact,
24:07no wonder it's hitting him hard.
24:09But like you said, it's such a nice camp.
24:11Hopefully, he'll feel like he can open up to people.
24:13Yeah.
24:14It's really sad seeing someone being sad on their own.

24:17At least with Jack, he's talking to people.

24:19Do you think it's got something to do with sort of Ruby speaking up?
24:22Do you think maybe that was a trigger for all of this sort of emotion happening?
24:26I think that won't have helped.

24:30You know, as I say, you're trying to have fun and then actually it backfires
24:33and it turns out that you're making people have less of a good time.

24:37I also think we're at that point now.
24:39We've crossed that line where even though they're getting the stars
24:43and they're doing well as a camp, you're still not eating like you would back home.

24:47You're fragile.
24:48You're away from the family.
24:49It's not just that you're not seeing them.
24:51There's no phone.

24:54We're in contact with people more than we ever, you know, have been.
24:56And then that's just taken away from you and you're chucked in the jungle.
24:59So, yeah, it's not nice seeing him have a rough time, but he'll be okay.

27:45his face but he just stayed so focused and he used like self-talk to keep them going but he
27:51did so well and it was almost like they weren't there the snakes and you know the spiders yeah
27:56he was that he was that in the zone there was a point where he was actually just chatting to
27:59and to do yeah you look gorgeous like you're all right it's fine yeah you know yeah so in the zone
28:04he felt like it was like he was a plumber under the sink just doing some work exactly you know
28:09they just super chill i think they maybe made the bed too comfy maybe that was the problem i don't
28:13know but i agree with you that that looked to me like the toughest yeah really just yeah yeah he
28:19smashed it what i loved about him though was when he got back to camp he didn't say i got 11 stars or
28:25whatever it was he said we got like it was really like it was as if it was a team effort even though
28:31it wasn't but i think he seems like a real team player true leader yeah true leader yeah and i think
28:36that you know that could be the advantage of doing badly in a trial earlier on because if you messed up
28:41with the uh the challenge where you eat the eyes and i think because of that that's actually spurred him
28:47on to do today yeah i gave him the fire that it needed yeah i think so it's uh yeah we keep saying it
28:53but it's just going to be interesting to see someone sort of break and not get as many stars
28:58and what the reaction will be when they go back to camp it's going to be such a shock for them because
29:02they've just been smashing it every time doing so well aren't they but i think h and angry ginge
29:06even though they're working together in this leadership role are kind of like have formed a
29:11final do you know what i mean it's like you go and get that many stars i'm going to do better than you
29:15win manchester rival yeah city against united that's exactly what it is yeah exactly salford versus
29:22united or whatever that is i don't know football um even though he bagged 11 stars the camp was docked
29:27one of them because alex was convicted of uh assault if it's a it's a joke it worked it worked
29:36ann and deck will probably use it on their show tomorrow um the uh what do you think about sort of the
29:43the salt and sort of what they're what they're sort of getting the star taken away would you be
29:47annoyed if your age i think if it had been more than one star it was only one star so how much
29:53difference did that really make so i don't think he was too annoyed and he did say the salt was
29:59obviously benefiting the rest of the camp so it wasn't like alex did something that was selfish so i
30:05think that changed the attitude a little bit that was an opportunity i think to take away more stars
30:10that's why i think this this camp have had too much food yeah they're enjoying themselves too much
30:15take it away i want to see them starving also for me i think um i think if one star taken away is it
30:22because i would give one star personally to have like three meals with salt in it yeah i would actually
30:29give that up yes you're right so you've got to take away sort of two or three stars then it would
30:33really be like oh my god i can't believe you did this and it would stop people doing it in the future
30:38and also what it would do is perhaps create more of a of attention in the camp yeah if you were to
30:44take away more stars you'd be less happy with someone taking in contraband contraband i love
30:49that we use the word contraband so much on this show uh well done guys uh all right i think kemi
30:54should have made it down to the trial clearing by now kemi are you there yes i'm here at drown the
30:58hatch it's a pretty weird place because all the fun is happening downstairs underneath my feet so as you
31:03can see there are loads of hatches so the camera has to like literally dive to the bottom and open
31:08another hatch to get stars they're filled with water ranger can we have a look at this first one
31:13i don't know what's in there oh my goodness i don't know if you can see there's loads of toads so
31:19there are also 70 yabbies in this one look at all the toads i actually didn't know what a yabby is
31:26but apparently it's a bit like a lobster looking thing this one is literally trying to escape look at it
31:31they're so sweet they're trying to say hi to you yeah they are oh i just fell back in so it's really
31:35cute so there's eight there's actually eight of these chambers so in other hatches there's going
31:39to be olive pythons blackhead pythons which is my mate from yesterday water dragons and crocodiles
31:46and you're going to love this their names are scott and lyle and they were the ones who were in with
31:52h in the doomsday vault you remember those ones you like literally went for him yes oh my god horrifying
31:58but they've got a bigger mate and his name's steve we need to start calling them meaner names guys
32:04sounds like the cast of made in chelsea i know and of course when they go at the bottom and they're
32:09opening up the hatches they will get a star 12 stars represents me off to a camp we know this well
32:15yesterday babatunde told us that uh that eddie absolutely hates toads so i think this would be an
32:21interesting one for him fingers crossed yeah are you allowed to open another one uh okay are we
32:29allowed to open this one i don't know what's in this one oh my goodness oh my god there's crocodiles
32:37oh god oh my goodness it's mad but imagine jumping in that that would be so mad terrifying
32:45there's a lot in there and you have to get all the way down to the bottom oh my goodness i do not
32:49want to be the camp mate who's having to go in there let me tell you it's going to be very tough

34:22got one from zach if you could sneak one thing into camp what would it be oh i think i would probably
34:30sneak in a really comfy camping chair although it wouldn't be it would be next to impossible to
34:37sneak in because the logs are so uncomfortable and as we're all losing weight like we have no arse
34:44and so we all just have like bruised chafed arses from sitting on the logs well to be fair shona uh
34:52smuggled in an air freshener so we've seen some pretty big things smuggled in uh what was your best
34:57memory in the jungle so far from page uh i think my best memory probably will be just laughing like i've
35:04laughed so much like my stomach muscles hurt but that could also be malnutrition
35:09laughing uh what uh what's the worst thing that you've had to cook so far on the shows from anya
35:16worst thing oh it was definitely the eel that eel was i mean and the smell of it is still haunting
35:21the camp like because when we were cutting it up like it's juices like leaked into the trunk
35:27oh and it's it's been a it's been a uh not such a fun time aren't you jealous of what we're all doing
35:35here it's been fun to watch you trying at least uh which campmate would fit in most with the osborne
35:40family oh man you know the funny thing is i think the reason why i get on with everyone is that i
35:46just there's there's elements of everyone that i just that i feel familiar and comfortable so there
35:52really isn't anyone that i that wouldn't wouldn't be able to you know slide in on a christmas dinner

36:27about the jungle what scares me the most about the jungle is uh what would it be um
36:37i guess being like a total nerd but like the thing that i watch out most for is deadfall
36:44because some of the branches that like fall out of the trees like if there's anything that's gonna
36:48legitimately like send us home here it's like a giant palm leaf that's gonna just ding you on the dome
36:54you're right that is quite a nerdy answer i really enjoyed it i really enjoyed it as from dolly uh
36:59do you have a favorite tattoo a favorite tattoo um let me see uh i have a mermaid for my daughter pearl
37:08which i really like um and then uh i got this tattoo at my dad's last show oh that's great man um this

40:16just seen him there so kind of he's not said what scares him but there's enough options there for him
40:21to get freaked out yeah yeah i mean he sort of he does know how to do all the survival stuff he was
40:27talking about deadfall from the he knows all of that stuff but we don't know how well he can swim to be
40:32fair no we don't and it's really interesting because there's a pressure on everyone getting really good
40:37amount of stars so it doesn't matter there could be something he's really afraid in one of those

41:11off and you always have your your water canister air freshener air freshener apparently like
41:17because you just generally keep what you have in there in the camp i think you don't bother taking
41:21it all out so you just take all your worldly belongings so you just take all your toothpaste and
41:25everything like that you know yeah and if you're going to get wet as well sometimes you'll take like
41:29your fleecy thing oh i had jill's knickers yeah did you no i've been looking for them
