Danny Trejo spoke with The Hollywood Reporter on the red carpet of the THR and FX 'What We Do In The Shadows' Vampire Nightclub at San Diego Comic-Con.

00:00You guest starred in season one of What We Do in the Shadows.

00:03How does it feel to be here celebrating the show tonight?

00:06Great, great, and I love the show.

00:09And I was pretty cool in that show.

00:13What was the best part about guest starring on the show and playing a vampire?

00:17Well, you know what?

00:18It's like entertaining, and I love to entertain.

00:22Everybody loves that show.

00:24And so after we did it, I had all these people running,

00:28and, oh, my God, it's a lot of fun, and a lot of people love that show.

00:33So I'm there.

00:35Could we ever see your vampire make a comeback on the show?

00:38Absolutely.

00:40They've already even talked to my agent, Gloria, about it.

00:44Hey, let's do it.

00:46I'm all for it.

00:48And how has it been being back at Comic-Con this year?

00:52Comic-Con's a madhouse.

00:55But I love it.

00:56I love the excitement, the energy, you know, everything.

01:00It's like just, you know, like, it's so surprising.

01:04I have a record label called Trails Music.

01:07I have a restaurant, you know, and I hear everybody's, like, talking about my record label,

01:13so that's kind of cool.

01:15We just dropped an album called Trails Soul Collection,

01:18so that's, like, a lot of fun, you know, and pushing the record label.

01:24And I'm leaving for the Philippines to do a film, the 31st, so that's kind of cool.

01:33I just finished a film called Seven Cemeteries and one called The Binge.

01:42That's amazing.

01:43You have a lot going on.

01:44You're a busy guy.

01:45My son Gilbert, the redhead over there, he just finished directing a commercial for Google in Barcelona.

02:03The whole family's busy.

02:06He's following in your footsteps.

02:07But before you go enjoy the party, since you have played a vampire,

02:11I want to ask you a few vampire would-you-rather questions.

02:14What?

02:15Some vampire would-you-rather questions.

02:17Okay.

02:18They're easy.

02:19First one, would you rather be a vampire or a werewolf?

02:22Oh, a vampire, because all a vampire has to do is bite a werewolf in the neck.

02:29And as far as vampire abilities, would you rather have the ability to fly

02:33or the ability to hypnotize people?

02:36Wait, what?

02:37Would you rather have the vampire ability to fly or the ability to hypnotize people?

02:43Well, vampires have both.

02:46So, hey, you can just have both.

02:48There you go.

02:50Yeah, I'll go with both of them.
