00:03and we're breaking down how it's faring at the domestic box office so far.
00:08The film, inspired by the 1980s TV show of the same name,
00:11made $3.15 million in previews,
00:14including early access screenings on Wednesday and ticket sales on Thursday.

00:26The film sees Gosling play a stuntman who leaves the business
00:29and his love interest, played by Blunt, behind after an on-set accident.
00:33But when the actor he doubled goes missing,
00:35Gosling's character is called upon to find the star and save the film
00:38that just so happens to be the directorial debut of his ex.
00:42Why me?
00:42You're a stuntman.
00:43Nobody's gonna notice you. That's your job.
00:45No offense.
00:46I mean, some taken.
00:48The movie's Hollywood premiere put the stunt community front and center
00:51by delivering a variety of wild stunts on the red carpet.
00:54Blunt spoke to the Hollywood reporter at the event
00:56about why she thinks stunt people have been underappreciated
00:59in the entertainment industry for so long.
01:01Honestly, I think we're all really baffled by it
01:03because they are the unsung heroes of our industry.
01:07I don't know why they live in the shadows.
01:09It may be their incredible humility
01:12and the fact that they want to maintain the mystique for audiences,
01:17to give audiences that sort of sense of wonder
01:20that it's the actor doing it.
01:21But I just feel we're past that point.
01:24You know, there is no mystique to making movies now.
01:27We see the behind the scenes of prosthetics and all of that,
01:30so why don't we see the behind the scenes
01:32of how a stunt is designed by these incredible performers, you know?
