00:00Everybody keeps talking about $70 games, but let's be honest for a second.
00:05Most of them aren't worth anything.
00:07I've bought so many trash games that critics rated 9 out of 10, and they ended up being straight up bad.
00:13So I decided to buy all the big open world games just to see which ones were actually worth the price.
00:19I'm still paying for them to this day.
00:21But hey, I found 18 games you need to play before you die.
00:25Man, Arkham Knight is one of those games that, in my opinion, was seriously underrated.
00:34It deserved way more recognition.
00:36The moment I started up, that rainy Gotham atmosphere pulls me right back in like I never left.
00:42Driving the Batmobile through the city at night, I don't care what anyone says, it feels amazing when you're the one behind the wheel.
00:48And gliding across Gotham's skyline, dude, it's still one of the smoothest traversal systems in any open world game.
00:55But what really makes Arkham Knight worth every penny is how the game treats you like someone who already loves Batman.
01:02The story doesn't drag, it's sharp, emotional, and Scarecrow is way scarier here than half the villains in horror games trying too hard.
01:10And every time I jump into a fight, it feels like I'm choreographing a superhero movie in real time.
01:16Of course, it's not perfect, the tank sections get repetitive, but when the game hits, it hits hard.
01:21The city feels alive, the villains are memorable, and the final, man, that ending stays with you.
01:28If you've never played it, do yourself a favor and experience Gotham at its absolute best.
01:372. Assassin's Creed Odyssey
01:40Odyssey is one of those games that will divide opinions about the best in the franchise, but this one really won me over.
01:46Seriously, exploring this world feels like taking a vacation you didn't even know you needed.
01:52The water, the islands, the sunsets.
01:55This game is absurdly beautiful.
01:58But what really surprised me is how fun it is to simply wander around.
02:02You see a fort, you clear it.
02:04You see a question mark, you go check it out.
02:06You hear a boar, you run, because that thing will ruin your day.
02:09And choosing between Alexios and Cassandra, I always recommend Cassandra.
02:14She's honestly one of the best protagonists Ubisoft has ever created.
02:18The RPG elements might not be groundbreaking, but they're addictive.
02:22You're constantly finding loot, upgrading your ship, kicking guys off cliffs like you're filming 300.
02:28It never gets old.
02:29Odyssey is massive, but somehow it doesn't feel tiring.
02:32It feels like an adventure you control.
02:35If you want a game that respects your time and gives you endless just one more quest moments,
02:40Odyssey is absolutely worth your money.
02:463. Fallout 4
02:48Fallout 4 might be one of those games that would show up on every open world list.
02:54A bit messy in some areas, but when it hits, it hits perfectly.
02:58Walking out of Vault 111 for the first time and seeing the apocalypse painted in that dusty golden light.
03:04Goosebumps every time.
03:06A lot of people complain about the dialogue system, but honestly, what keeps me playing is the world.
03:12The Commonwealth is full of weirdos, secrets, creepy vaults, and moments where you just stop and think,
03:18Dude, what happened here?
03:20The Companions?
03:21Some of the best in the franchise.
03:23You bond with these characters without even noticing.
03:25And the combat, especially the guns, is way better than in previous Fallout games.
03:30That's is still addictive, crafting is fun, and base building, okay, that consumed my life way more than I'd like to admit.
03:39Skyrim lets you decorate houses.
03:41Fallout lets you literally build a civilization with your own hands.
03:45Fallout 4 isn't perfect, but it's one of those open world games you can play for hundreds of hours without getting bored.
03:51It's the kind of game that actually gives you stories to tell.
03:584. Skyrim
04:00Skyrim is one of the few games that feels eternal.
04:04You don't just play it, you live in it.
04:06The first time a dragon dives out of nowhere while you're just trying to pick some flowers,
04:11man, that's a childhood-defining moment, even if you played the game as an adult.
04:15What makes Skyrim so special isn't the graphics or the combat, which are pretty simple nowadays.
04:22It's the way the world reacts to you.
04:25You can be a warrior, a mage, a sneaky thief, a werewolf, a vampire, or somehow all of them at once if you're chaotic enough.
04:34The game doesn't judge you, it just lets you be weird.
04:38And the music?
04:39Bro, that soundtrack can pull me out of the worst day.
04:43Walking through a snowy mountain with that theme playing softly in the background?
04:48Pure magic.
04:50Every cave you enter, every town you visit, every strange NPC you meet,
04:55it all adds to this feeling that Skyrim is a world that existed before you,
04:59and will keep existing after you log off.
05:01There's a reason people keep coming back to it even after a decade.
05:06Skyrim is an experience you don't forget.
05:08There sure are a lot of lights and switches up here.
05:135. Ghost Recon Wildlands
05:16Man, Wildlands is one of those games I bought on sale thinking,
05:20eh, whatever, I'll play it for a weekend.
05:23And then somehow I ended up putting like 60 hours into it without even realizing.
05:28This game is literally the definition of just one more mission.
05:32You go in, planning a quick stealth infiltration,
05:35and suddenly you're blowing up a cartel base with your squad,
05:39laughing while everything goes completely off the rails.
05:43What makes this game special isn't the story,
05:45it's the chaos you create.
05:48The freedom is insane.
05:49Want to play stealth like Splinter Cell?
05:51Go for it!
05:52Want to grab a helicopter, crash it straight into a camp and go full Rambo?
05:57Also valid.
05:58And Bolivia is ridiculously beautiful.
06:01Some of the drives between missions feel more relaxing than actual real-life vacations.
06:07And two, playing this with friends is a completely different experience.
06:11It turns into the funniest military sandbox ever.
06:14It's one of those open-world games that sticks in your head even after you turn it off.
06:20Totally worth every penny.
06:256. Far Cry 4
06:27Let me tell you something.
06:29Far Cry 4 aged like fine wine.
06:33People seriously sleep on this game,
06:35but honestly, it's still one of the most fun open worlds Ubisoft has ever made.
06:40Kairat is gorgeous, chaotic,
06:42and absolutely packed with things for you to mess around with.
06:46And yeah, half of those things want to kill you.
06:49The wingsuit alone makes the game worth buying.
06:52You jump off one of those Himalayan cliffs, and suddenly, life makes sense again.
06:57Pagan men might be one of the best villains in the series.
07:00Charismatic, unpredictable,
07:03almost too charming for someone who murders people on a Tuesday afternoon.
07:07And the wildlife?
07:08Man, the wildlife hates you.
07:12Tigers, eagles, rhinos, they all want smoke.
07:16But that's what makes it so good.
07:18It's messy, explosive, dangerous, and just plain fun.
07:22If you want an open world where you don't really care about realism and chaos takes over,
07:28this is the game.
07:29You never regret buying something like this.
07:317. Just Cause 3
07:36Man, Just Cause doesn't really care about physics.
07:41It looks at you and says,
07:42Physics? Never heard of it.
07:44And honestly, thank God.
07:46If you've had a bad day, buy this game,
07:48attach 40 explosive tethers to a helicopter,
07:51and launch it into orbit.
07:53Instant therapy.
07:54The entire world of Medici feels like a giant playground
07:58begging you to destroy everything.
08:00The wingsuit is still one of the best movement systems ever made.
08:04Once you get to hang in it, you barely use cars anymore.
08:07Rico Rodriguez isn't a character.
08:10He's a force of nature.
08:11A walking explosion.
08:13A man who thinks gravity is optional.
08:16Sure, the story is whatever.
08:18But nobody plays Just Cause 3 for deep narrative.
08:21You play it to blow at bridges,
08:22hijack jets midair,
08:23and do things that would put you on every government watch list in real life.
08:27And believe me, every minute is worth it.
08:30If the value of a game were measured in pure fun,
08:33this one would basically be priceless.
08:408. Dying Light
08:42This one surprised me a lot.
08:44I thought it was just another zombie game.
08:47And man, how wrong I was.
08:50The parkour alone already makes the game worth the price.
08:53Running across rooftops, sliding under fences,
08:57kicking zombies off buildings.
08:58Everything is so smooth, it almost feels illegal.
09:02And then night comes.
09:04Dude, if you've never played this game at night,
09:06you haven't really played it.
09:08The vibe changes completely.
09:10Suddenly, you're not the hunter anymore.
09:12You're the prey.
09:13Those volatiles will destroy your soul.
09:16But that adrenaline, man.
09:18That's what keeps you coming back.
09:20And the world is super fun to explore.
09:22Every corner has loot, secrets,
09:24or some poor survivor screaming for help.
09:27It's one of those games that's scary but not depressing.
09:31Dangerous but still incredibly fun.
09:33Even the game's jank has charm.
09:36And when you finally master the movement,
09:38you feel unstoppable.
09:40No regret spending money on this one.
09:42None.
09:479. Immortals Fenyx Rising
09:49Man, Immortals is one of those games
09:52I bought with low expectations
09:53and ended up liking way more than I should have.
09:56It's another game on this list
09:58that was seriously underrated.
10:00People called it a Breath of the Wild clone,
10:02but honestly, it's like that funnier,
10:05more chaotic cousin
10:06who shows up at family dinner
10:07and instantly becomes everyone's favorite.
10:10The world is vibrant, colorful,
10:12and way more charming than it has any right to be.
10:15The puzzles are addictive,
10:17the combat is way better than you'd expect,
10:19and the humor?
10:20Man, the humor actually works.
10:23Zeus and Prometheus arguing throughout the story
10:25is pure gold.
10:27And the best part?
10:28It's just fun.
10:30Pure, stress-free fun.
10:32No 200-hour grind,
10:34no super dark plot,
10:36no you-must-suffer design philosophy.
10:38Just a good time.
10:40You glide through the sky,
10:41fight mythological creatures,
10:43solve clever puzzles,
10:45and laugh at the absolute nonsense
10:47these gods say.
10:48It's a game that feels good for your brain.
10:51Worth every cent.
10:52Why would you save all of you?
10:53Why would you-
10:5410.
10:57Death Stranding 2 on the beach.
11:00Look, I know walking simulator jokes will never die,
11:04but Death Stranding 2 is on another level entirely.
11:08Kojima basically looked at the first game and said,
11:11cool, now let's make everyone cry.
11:13And he wasn't kidding.
11:15The atmosphere is insane.
11:18Like, the game makes you feel weirdly peaceful
11:20and deeply anxious at the same time.
11:23I don't even know how to explain it.
11:25Every step feels meaningful.
11:27Every delivery feels like you're part of something bigger.
11:31And then the world starts collapsing,
11:33the sky goes black,
11:34and you're running from something
11:36that looks like it crawled out of your nightmares.
11:39The cinematics?
11:40Dude, they're art.
11:41Straight up art.
11:43Even the quiet moments hit you emotionally
11:45in a way most games never pull off.
11:48And when things get intense,
11:50the game doesn't just go big,
11:51it goes absolutely nuclear.
11:54If you want a game you feel instead of just play,
11:57this one is worth every penny you spend on it.
11:59Oh, damn it!
12:03They just won't let up!
12:0511.
12:06Cyberpunk 2027 Phantom Liberty
12:09Phantom Liberty is cyberpunk at its absolute best.
12:14Like, if the base game launched like this,
12:17it would have been a cultural reset.
12:19Dogtown feels alive in a terrifying way.
12:22Dangerous, desperate, and full of people
12:25who will stab you for a pack of chips.
12:27And the story?
12:28Man, it goes harder than most movies.
12:32Idris Elba didn't come to play.
12:34He crushed it.
12:35Every mission feels like you're diving deeper
12:37into something you probably shouldn't be involved in,
12:40but you can't stop.
12:42The choices hurt.
12:43The consequences hurt even more.
12:45And the ending?
12:46Let's just say if you like happy endings, good luck.
12:51But gameplay-wise, this is peak cyberpunk.
12:54Faster, smoother, more stylish, more violent, more everything.
13:00The new abilities turn V into a straight-up monster.
13:03Every fight feels like a John Wick scene
13:05mixed with pure sci-fi insanity.
13:07If you want value for your money,
13:10Phantom Liberty gives you like 10 times what you paid for.
13:1812. Rage 2
13:20Rage 2 is one of the weirdest games for me
13:23because critics treated it like it wasn't anything special.
13:26But dude, if you just want raw, stupid, explosive fun,
13:31this game delivers.
13:33The shooting feels incredible.
13:35The powers are super smooth.
13:37And the world, yeah, it's kind of empty at times.
13:40But honestly, that never bothered me.
13:42Because the second you get into combat,
13:44you forget everything else.
13:46You're sliding, jumping, punching people into dust,
13:49blowing up convoys.
13:51It feels like Doom had a baby with Mad Max
13:53and gave it energy drinks.
13:55The pink-neon apocalypse vibe is unique too.
13:58It's chaotic, loud, and crazy in the best way possible.
14:02Plus, the wingstick is still one of the coolest weapons ever.
14:06Is it a perfect open-world game?
14:08Nah.
14:09But is it worth every penny for the pure adrenaline and insane fun?
14:13Absolutely.
14:14If you like games that don't take themselves too seriously,
14:17Rage 2 is your guy.
14:21Number 13, Sleeping Dogs.
14:25Sleeping Dogs is one of those games that makes you wonder,
14:28how did this not blow up when it launched?
14:31Because honestly, it's one of the coolest open-world experiences ever made.
14:36The hand-to-hand combat is insane.
14:39You're basically a martial arts action hero from minute one.
14:43Every punch feels like it has weight.
14:46Every counter looks stylish.
14:47And when you slam a dude into an air conditioner or toss him into a dumpster?
14:52Pure happiness.
14:54And the city of Hong Kong feels alive in a way most games don't capture anymore.
14:59You hear the street vendors yelling.
15:01You see neon everywhere.
15:03The rain hits differently.
15:05It's atmospheric as hell.
15:07The story is unexpectedly good too.
15:09It's basically an undercover cop drama
15:12where you constantly question which side you're truly loyal to.
15:15The missions feel cinematic, the chases are wild, and the combat never gets old.
15:21This is one of those games people regret sleeping on after they finally try it.
15:25Absolutely worth every penny you throw at it.
15:3314.
15:34Mafia Definitive Edition.
15:35Mafia Definitive Edition hits different because it's not trying to be a giant open-world playground.
15:42It's trying to tell a damn good story.
15:44And it nails it.
15:46The world feels alive, but it's the characters and the atmosphere that pull you in.
15:51You feel like you're actually part of a crime family rising through the ranks.
15:54The voice acting is perfect.
15:57The cutscenes feel like scenes from an HBO series.
15:59And the missions stay super memorable.
16:01Ride With Us, brother gives you chills even if you've played the original.
16:05The 1930s vibe?
16:07Spot on.
16:08The lighting, the cars, the way everyone talks.
16:10It doesn't feel like a game trying to be old-timey.
16:13It feels like you actually traveled back.
16:15And the best part?
16:16There's no filler.
16:18No 200 collectibles.
16:19No endless side quests.
16:20No go-pick-up five tomatoes.
16:23Everything you do matters to the story.
16:25You're always moving forward.
16:27It's short.
16:27It's tight.
16:28It's powerful.
16:29And it's worth buying at full price without thinking twice.
16:32Nothing, dude.
16:3715.
16:38Stalker 2
16:38Stalker 2 is the kind of open-world game that doesn't just entertain you, it makes you addicted to it.
16:45This game has an incredibly well-crafted atmosphere.
16:48You don't just walk around the map.
16:50You survive in it.
16:51The zone feels alive, unpredictable, and honestly, terrifying in the best way possible.
16:57One moment, everything is quiet.
16:59And the next, you're running from an anomaly that looks like the universe is glitching out.
17:04And the factions, the mutants, the abandoned places, everything feels handcrafted to make you uncomfortable yet curious.
17:12You want to explore even knowing something horrible might be waiting for you.
17:17Gunshots hit hard, choices truly matter, and the world reacts to the way you play.
17:22It's not a game you simply breeze through.
17:25It's a game you feel.
17:27If you want an open-world adventure that's deeper and more atmospheric than 90% of what's out there,
17:33Stalker 2 is worth every penny.
17:35It's an experience.
17:4016.
17:41Nier Automata
17:42Nier Automata is one of those rare games you start thinking is just a cool action RPG.
17:48But then it shows its full potential.
17:50In my opinion, it's also a game that doesn't get talked about or mentioned nearly enough.
17:55The gameplay is insanely fluid.
17:58The combat feels like a mix of dance choreography and pure chaos.
18:02But it's the story that turns this game into something truly special.
18:06You start thinking you're just fighting robots, but then the game hits you with philosophical questions, emotional punches, and plot twists so wild, you end up sitting on your couch staring at the floor for 10 minutes.
18:17And the music, probably some of the best ever made for a video game.
18:22Seriously.
18:23The world feels lonely in a strangely beautiful way.
18:26Everything is broken, yet it still feels peaceful.
18:29It's a game you only fully understand after reaching the true ending.
18:33And when everything clicks, man, it's unforgettable.
18:36It's the kind of game that makes you proud to be a gamer.
18:39Worth every cent.
18:4517.
18:46Ghost of Yotei
18:47Ghost of Yotei was one of those games I was honestly scared for before launch.
18:52I had no idea what to expect.
18:54Especially because it comes from a franchise I love so much.
18:58Ghost of Tsushima.
18:59And even though, in my opinion, it doesn't surpass Ghost of Tsushima,
19:03it still sneaks up on you and ends up becoming one of your all-time favorites.
19:08The world is breathtaking.
19:11Every snow-covered village, every bamboo forest, every shrine hidden deep in the mountains looks like a piece of art.
19:19But it's not just pretty.
19:20The sense of exploration here is insane.
19:23You're constantly rewarded for going off the path.
19:26A hidden duel, a mysterious creature, a tiny story happening in the middle of nowhere.
19:32And the combat?
19:34Dude, it's clean.
19:36Sharp, fast, but still weighty.
19:38You feel every clash of the blades.
19:41And when the weather shifts, snowstorms, thick fog rolling in,
19:46sunsets painting everything orange,
19:49the whole vibe changes completely.
19:51The story mixes folklore, personal struggle, and supernatural mystery
19:56in a way that pulls you deeper and deeper.
19:59It's emotional in just the right amount.
20:02The game respects your time, your intelligence, and your love for gaming.
20:07If you're paying full price, this is exactly where your money should go.
20:1518.
20:16Atomfall.
20:18Atomfall is one of those games that instantly gives you that weird feeling.
20:22The good kind.
20:23The something's off, but I need to know what kind.
20:26It's set in this creepy, post-disaster version of rural Britain
20:30where everything looks normal on the surface until it absolutely isn't.
20:34You start walking through a peaceful field,
20:36and suddenly you're staring at something glowing,
20:39humming, and definitely not from Earth.
20:41And dude, the atmosphere in this game is unreal.
20:44It's eerie without relying on jump scares,
20:47mysterious without being confusing,
20:49and every corner whispers,
20:51hey, you probably shouldn't be here.
20:54What makes Atomfall worth the money
20:56is how different it feels from other open world games.
20:59It's not about explosions or non-stop action.
21:02It's about tension, discovery,
21:03and that constant paranoia that something is watching you.
21:07The world is small enough to feel intimate,
21:09but big enough to keep surprising you.
21:10And the NPCs, bro, they're unsettling in the best way.
21:15Everyone looks like they're hiding something.
21:17Everyone acts a little too calm about the world falling apart.
21:20Exploration feels rewarding,
21:22the story keeps pulling you deeper,
21:24and every weird encounter sticks in your mind
21:26long after you stop playing.
21:28It's one of those games you buy for the atmosphere
21:30and stay for the mystery.
21:32If you want something unique,
21:33something that breaks the formula,
21:35something that really makes you feel the world,
21:38Atomfall is worth every dollar.
21:40And that's it.
21:4218 open world games that don't waste your time,
21:46your money, or your hype.
21:47If you've been burned by overpriced garbage before,
21:50trust me, these ones won't disappoint you.
21:53Pick any game from this list,
21:55and you're getting your money's worth, no question.
21:58Now go play something amazing,
21:59and I'll see you in the next one.
22:01We'll see you in the next one.
22:01We'll see you in the next one.
22:02We'll see you in the next one.
22:02We'll see you in the next one.
22:03We'll see you in the next one.
22:03We'll see you in the next one.
22:04We'll see you in the next one.
22:04We'll see you in the next one.
22:05We'll see you in the next one.
22:05We'll see you in the next one.
