00:00Palestine is as relevant as ever. We are still seeing attacks on Palestinians.
00:06Israel is still attacking Palestine on an everyday basis.
00:10UNRWA is warning that 90% of Gaza's population is suffering from malnutrition.
00:16And Israel is still dropping bombs, shooting Palestinians and using aid as a weapon,
00:22blocking essential supplies from entering Gaza, not to even mention the increased attacks against the West Bank.
00:32And of course, Palestine is not the only crisis that we need to talk about.
00:37It is not the only occupied and oppressed people that we need to be talking about.
00:44This is one out of many, many global struggles that need our full attention.
00:51And so therefore, we have to keep talking about Palestine.
00:56And that's why we are here today, to make sure that we keep these discussions going
01:01and that we keep encouraging people to take action.
01:06And it is disgraceful that the university is trying to silence political messages that they are scared of.
01:18They threatened to cut electricity during this event.
01:21Because we were using political slogans that they did not like.
01:25And we are tired of performative acts from institutions that are complicit in a genocide,
01:31who can allow some slogans.
01:34But when we are encouraging people to take action to end the actual complicity,
01:38then they chicken out.
