00:01:11praise the lord welcome to wednesday night bible study in the city of long beach california

00:01:16and we thank uh everybody around the world who's joining us tonight and i'm saying that without

00:01:23hesitation because i've got my 570 something emails and uh we'll have to talk about that

00:01:34but um we are going to get started here we have a very interesting um

00:01:42bible study tonight concerning lazarus

00:01:46um and hanukkah that is coming up it's a guy out with a video about hanukkah do not watch it it's

00:01:54weird it is weird and uh but you know you get paid for the more people you want to get get to watch you

00:02:02know so if you get a lot of views then you still get paid so but it's a very weird but lab but i

00:02:10want you guys to know that hanukkah is a very very important date and time and i want you to know

00:02:17that lazarus and the story of lazarus and the story of hanukkah coming together is very important and

00:02:24we're going to go over all of this in two days so this bible study tonight will be part of it and

00:02:31then tomorrow morning we will finish it so pray us in my brother tell me how your salt family's doing

00:02:56today is november 19th 2025 so i thought i would read some wisdom from

00:03:00from proverbs 19 i'm going to read from three of seven he who verses

00:03:16proverbs 19 verse 8 he who gets wisdom loves his own soul he who keeps understanding

00:03:28will find good he who keeps the commandment keeps his soul but he who is careless of his ways

00:03:41will die verse 23 the fear of the lord leads to life

00:03:49and he who has it will abide in satisfaction he will not be visited with evil i thought i would

00:04:02open up today with some wisdom from the proverbs since this morning the lord spoke to us via the

00:04:10the proverbs and some other scriptures about frustration so i'm gonna take a step out in faith

00:04:21and state that there is probably a lot of people who listen to soldiers for christ

00:04:28who are experiencing some form of frustration or even going through a long season of frustration

00:04:37the lord spoke to us today about how to deal with it and that we don't have to own it

00:04:48that we always have the choice to unload our frustrations to him and to let him have his way

00:04:57trusting that he orders every step of his children amen and even if it feels like frustration

00:05:06it may be an attack of the enemy it may be an attack of the enemy but it is most importantly

00:05:12an opportunity to learn and grow in the lord with this morning this is why i'm sharing this as we

00:05:25got together to pray and fellowship we we started to share our frustrations with each other

00:05:32and as we shared them and then prayed to offload them to the lord the lord took them he released us

00:05:45and then we felt and we knew that our frustrations were now in his hand and we no longer had to hold

00:05:53on to them and we knew that he was now working for our good so if this speaks to you and you want to see

00:08:24father god we just come before you tonight in the name of yeshua

00:08:29father tonight we are purposely seeking to hear you speak to us

00:08:36we ask holy spirit that you would speak through pastor sandy

00:08:38you would draw us near to you as we

00:08:43are striving to hear from you we ask god that you would have your way tonight we are thankful

00:08:51we are thankful for everything that you have done for us so therefore we are trusting you tonight

00:08:58and trusting you with our future so we ask holy spirit that you would speak tonight we thank you father

00:09:07god god for this opportunity to learn and grow before we go in jesus name i pray amen amen amen

00:09:18well here we are and let's get started um we're going to look at our notes first of all because i pulled up

00:09:28a hebrew calendar because there's something very important that all christians need to know

00:09:37because some christians don't even think about jewish holidays such as

00:09:44you know rosh hashanah hanukkah um yom kapoor all of these holidays but you have to remember all of these

00:09:53feast days and holidays that the jews have god is the one who has set them up and it's god who is the one who

00:10:01who has given them dates and and times of the year okay so i want us to to understand

00:10:10that uh god did something very strange with the month of hanukkah i mean with the with the celebration

00:10:18of hanukkah because hanukkah happens on the 24th of keseleth and it's mentioned in the bible when this day

00:10:27happens be very careful when this day comes and when he's giving the the story about hanukkah he says

00:10:35on the ninth day on the 24th day remember this and keep it in mind this is a very important day and

00:10:43we'll read that tomorrow but tonight i want what i want you guys to understand is that the the 24th day

00:10:50of the ninth month hanukkah is very important now we have a big problem because there was no hanukkah

00:10:58at the time of noah's flood okay so on the 17th of hedgevon the flood happened uh in the days of noah

00:11:10and here you have noah and the flood happens and it's raining for 40 days and for 40 nights right

00:11:19so you get after the 40 days you get this understanding that this is how long the rain

00:11:26and the destruction was going on okay so um 40 days after even though there was not anything

00:11:36in in in the world called hanukkah yet 40 days after the flood is always the fourth day of hanukkah

00:11:49every year you don't have to you don't have to switch calendars go to a nissan calendar or

00:11:56greek calendar you could just stick with the hebrew calendar and when you get to

00:12:02the 17th the 17th day of hedgevon if you count 40 days forward you're always going to come to the

00:12:12fourth day of hanukkah so why is that why why would god schedule these 40 days to be

00:12:23on a holiday that does not even exist yet but god knowing in the future that from now on every 40th

00:12:35day is going to be the fourth day of hanukkah okay now um i i i gave you the calendar because i want you

00:12:47to be able to look at it now hanukkah is going to begin on the 14th the evening of the 14th and 15th

00:12:56okay that's when it's going to begin in december um then it's going to for the next four days

00:13:06after it begins on the 15th then the 16th and the 17th between on the 17th and 18th will be that

00:13:16fourth day and that will be 40 days from the anniversary of the flood okay so when do when does the

00:13:26the fulfillment of the 17th of of hedgevon get fulfilled okay and and we've passed the 17th of

00:13:37hedgevon and we're now counting these 40 days till we get to hanukkah okay and hanukkah will be

00:13:4540 days exactly after the 17th of hedgevon now someone may say well what does the 17th of uh of uh uh

00:14:02hedgevon have to do with hanukkah well being that is 40 days and 40 is the number of testing uh i'm on

00:14:13on the page two 40 is always the end of a test a law first to tissue return is 40 days so from the

00:14:22time moses went back up on the mountain until the time he came down on yom kippur there was 40 days

00:14:30jesus fasted for 40 days okay um and of course we know that the rain uh during the flood lasted for 40 days

00:14:40okay and we know this other thing is that when the boat was above the water above the earth it was 15

00:14:49cupids above the above everything and that therefore now the boat was fully above the entire uh world

00:14:58in genesis chapter 7 okay so we want to look at those with at this um these facts because god is

00:15:09is trying to tell us a a strategic story so that you can be on the same page as a born-again christian okay

00:15:21it gets kind of i love being a part of s4c because god says if you study hebrew i'll teach you the bible

00:15:30okay and if god teaches me the bible i'm going to teach you what god taught me okay so

00:15:39if we go to page three

00:15:40of our notes we're going to see uh if you go to genesis chapter 15 verse 1 and 2 you get the

00:15:53first mention of a beautiful person and his name is eliezer and it says here after this the word of the

00:16:04lord came to abram in a vision do not be afraid abram i am your shield and your very great reward but

00:16:13abraham said oh sovereign lord what can you give me since i remain childless and the one who who will

00:16:22inherit my estate is eliezer of damascus okay and and and of course and then got uh and abraham said

00:16:33you have given me no child or no son right so this is the first time you get the mention of eliezer okay

00:16:44at the time i was beginning my hebrew journey and i realized eliezer meant the helper and i knew that

00:16:52jesus says that when he leaves he was going to send us the helper so eliezer is just a representation of

00:17:01the holy spirit in the old testament eliezer has a lot of responsibility as the as the one of the chief

00:17:12people in abraham's home okay and and the holy spirit has a big responsibility as

00:17:22as part of the godhead in the story that we are now uh trying to complete okay but i want you to

00:17:30understand this okay you think about this god made eliezer's name appear in the 15th chapter of the bible

00:17:42okay this is very important why because eliezer

00:17:48eliezer is going to be mentioned in the old testament 15 times and then you won't get to

00:17:59the same person who has his name because it's in the new testament and his name is lazarus

00:18:07now how many times do you think lazarus name is in the bible in the new testament 15 times so god is

00:18:16like listen i'm trying to tell you these two people are going to be playing the same role

00:18:23okay okay and i'm going to show you how i'm going to redeem the world by using eliezer in this role

00:18:34okay so eliezer is the helper he's playing the role of the holy spirit lazarus is the helper he's playing

00:18:44the role of the holy spirit okay how these two stories connect no one would be able to figure it out

00:18:54because in the old testament you don't have hanukkah yet and you don't have the greek

00:18:59new testament yet so you don't know about lazarus but here we go in the in the uh uh uh in genesis

00:19:09chapter one two eliezer of damascus now damascus is four four four that's the numerical value which

00:19:16means what the door and it's also called the road to love okay um uh uh the talia agape so um

00:19:26um if you go to genesis chapter 24 you will see that after abraham offered his son isaac was going to

00:19:40offer him as a sacrifice after he got his son back on the third day and god said don't do it

00:19:48abraham went home and had a discussion with eliezer and the discussion with eliezer was to go to a land

00:19:58and bring my son back a bride to eliezer okay so eliezer goes to this land and his chief objective

00:20:10role is to find a bride for isaac okay so eliezer is in the world for a purpose okay

00:20:22now um we see that um i i i don't want to miss this portion of of of this this this incredible story

00:20:32though abraham had a relative and his relative and the relative's name was locked okay now i want us to

00:20:46go to genesis chapter 14 as we see the story of lot what god is doing is here is he's putting a whole

00:20:59puzzle together okay he's putting characters together with characters numbers together with

00:21:06numbers because he wants to tell you one story and he because i like i keep telling you you can keep

00:21:14reading the bible over and over again it's gonna all be about one story if you pay attention to what

00:21:22jesus said and what did jesus say the volume of the scriptures is about me so if you don't understand

00:21:34typology and if you don't understand every scripture in the old testament is leading to jesus in the new

00:21:41testament you can compare all the old testament scriptures and and and that you want but until you

00:21:48get to the new testament jesus says you're not going to know what they're talking about because

00:21:53everything that is written in the old testament is written about me and what's going to happen in

00:22:00my story okay so in genesis chapter 14 okay uh and let's begin here at the top at the time of

00:22:13i should not begin at the top i should just talk about the top because i can't pronounce any of these

00:22:17kings names so all of these kings uh ampharal uh the king of shinar and arnoch the king of elisar

00:22:27and caldemar and alam and tedel all of these things and who is the king of the goim and um and the king

00:22:35of sodom and and and bersher the king of gomorrah and so all of this was going on and they were

00:22:43there was about to be a rebellion okay and when they go to sodom to fight against when this this war

00:22:56between these kings happen they go to to uh sodom and gomorrah and they fight and when they're fighting

00:23:06they kidnap i say kidnap they capture lot okay so during this big fight they capture lot

00:23:19abraham finds out that a war took place and they captured lot okay so abraham says i'm going to get

00:23:30318 of my soldiers to go and rescue lot now that would not be a problem at all but god is putting

00:23:43together a puzzle 318 is the same numerical value as eliezer so that means that this eliezer

00:23:54is going to have the role of making the first rescue because remember lot gets rescued twice

00:24:04but there has to be there has to be a first rescue and remember the relationship between abraham and and

00:24:14lot is kind of half half kind of half gentile and half jewish you understand so the first part gets

00:24:23rescued but it the first time lot gets rescued he gets rescued by 318 okay 318 soldiers that abraham the

00:24:36father sends the 318 soldiers to go and rescue lot and they go and they rescue lot and they bring him back

00:24:47back in safety now is sodom and gomorrah now safe for the rest of eternity no because god is saying now

00:25:00you've rescued lot but i still got a problem with sodom and gomorrah okay because now guess who's still

00:25:07guess who's back in sodom and gomorrah they rescue him and they say okay everything's okay well i'm going

00:25:12home no that goes back that means there has to be a second time that that god has to do a work in sodom

00:25:26but this time god says no i'm not sending 318 soldiers to rescue lot this time go and tell lot to get

00:25:36out of the way and get out of the way and get to safety because i'm coming with judgment this time

00:25:40okay now if you miss if you're missing what god is doing he's telling you an end time prophecy in the

00:25:51time of lot he's telling you the holy spirit is going to be be the the author of the first rescue

00:25:59and the second time god comes there's not going to be a rescue there's going to be get out of the way

00:26:07because i'm tearing up everything you understand so god has told told us right now so anybody says

00:26:14well there's not going to be a rapture not it is look lot was rescued first by 318 which is what the holy

00:26:23spirit the church will be rescued first by whom the holy spirit cannot return to heaven unless he has

00:26:32the bride the same as eliezer you understand so eliezer is is goes and he brings the bride back

00:26:43the holy spirit goes to the earth and he's going to bring the rock the bride back

00:26:47the 318 soldiers left and they came back with lot you understand lot what does lot's name means

00:26:59to to to uncover the veil is the removing of the veil now listen the blinder on israel is going to last

00:27:10until the veil is removed but the veil can't be removed until the church is taken out of the way

00:27:18so who is not representing a veil that has to be taken out of the way which is the church once we're

00:27:25taken out of the way then now okay now then then can can uh uh uh uh the blinder on israel be take be

00:27:36taken away but when god comes back for israel he's not coming back to israel like oh i'm here to rescue

00:27:43you and pull you out he's coming back to the earth and he's coming back with judgment you understand

00:27:49fire and brimstone everything that you're hearing a lot he's coming back with judgment so you have two

00:27:55rescues that are happening the same way in the book of revelation and you have this other rescue

00:28:02happening with lot but god wants you to know this is the structure of how i'm going to do it there's

00:28:08going to be a rescue by 318 taking out and then there's going to be another battle which is going

00:28:16to be destruction my second coming so he's telling you this in genesis so that you know stay on the

00:28:23story now that portion that portion i'm going to try and read a little bit of my notes here okay

00:28:31then the king of sodom and the king of gomorrah and the king of adamah and the king of zeboim

00:28:38and the king of bela that is zor marched out and drew up their battle lines at the valley of sidem

00:28:46against caldemar king of elam tidal gone uh arafel uh king of shinar and aram the king of eleazar it

00:28:57says four kings against five abraham rescued lot from four kings okay

00:29:08and um it says elam going china else uh uh elsar and it says but later had to rescue lot again okay

00:29:18so 318 and 318 is the numerical value of eleazar the holy spirit now let's talk about eleazar because

00:29:29eleazar is representing the holy spirit and eleazar is 318 okay so

00:29:42now we get to this incredible story in the book of uh john concerning concerning uh another guy

00:29:56named eleazar but you're not going to know it's eleazar unless you study you understand

00:30:04because this is why god said study hebrew and i'll and i'll teach you the bible okay

00:30:11so now i'm looking i finally get to the new testament and i say i wonder what lazarus means

00:30:19and it says lazarus is a greek translation of the hebrew name eleazar so god has eleazar in the old

00:30:32testament 15 times and god has lazarus in the new testament 15 times so god is letting you know look i'm

00:30:43i'm talking to you about the same action the same person the same story is going on here okay now

00:30:54um um i know i have to go to the gospels so let's go to the gospels and

00:31:03i think we're in 10 and 11. john chapter 10. john chapter 10.

00:31:18it's a beautiful story listen you guys hanukkah is coming up it's 2025. um

00:31:27i am you know i was i was sitting and thinking boy lord i've been on this rapture thing a long time

00:31:36i think i'm the worst rapture teacher ever because i've been doing it longer right

00:31:43and i'm like what is going on like are we going to get to because we got to the 6 000 years we get to

00:31:52this and then now you give me there's a rapture scenario that swings around the whole calendar

00:31:58for a whole year because if we were in in after summertime i would be talking to you about what

00:32:06uh ruth and and and and getting married to boaz okay if we were in the springtime i would be talking to

00:32:13you about joshua crossing over or any of the seasons i would be talking to you about some dynamic rapture

00:32:21scenario that's in the scripture but now this particular rapture scenario is so crazy because

00:32:30god links it to the flood okay he links it to the flood okay um i'm in 10 verse 22 okay here we go let's

00:32:43start here at um at uh 10 chapter 10 uh of of the book of john and we're going to be at verse 22

00:32:57take the officer with you it's

00:33:11okay all right now here we go it says then came the feast of dedication at jerusalem and it was winter

00:33:19oh now if you're reading that you're going wait a minute i've studied all the feast days

00:33:27and and of god what is this what is the feast of dedication well the feast of dedication is hanukkah

00:33:37okay but why why is it called the feast of dedication because the temple was dedicated back to the lord

00:33:44it's also called the festival of lights okay but this is the time and we know that hanukkah lasts for how

00:33:52many days eight eight days it lasts for eight days okay so we have so we says then came the feast of

00:34:03dedication at jerusalem and it was winter and jesus was in the temple area walking in solomon's colonize

00:34:12the jews gathered uh around him saying how long will you keep us in suspense if you are the christ tell

00:34:19us plainly okay and jesus answered i did tell you but you did not believe uh the miracles i did in my

00:34:28father's name speaks for me but you do not believe because you are not my sheep

00:34:33see see see you guys like oh jesus wasn't that nice of a guy on that day um i'm telling you the lord

00:34:44has to speak the lord is very straightforward with what he's telling you understand so he's telling them

00:34:51look you're not my sheep my sheep listen to my voice i know them and they follow me i give them

00:34:58eternal life and they shall never perish no one can snatch them out of my head my father who has given

00:35:07them to me is greater than all no one can snatch them out of my father's hand i and the father are one

00:35:18wow so jesus is letting them know now as he's doing this it's winter time it's not just winter time

00:35:29it's the month of kesleth and it's the 24th of kesleth is the first day of the feast of dedication

00:35:37okay now um i want to make sure i don't miss it okay let's go to 11 verse verse one

00:35:48now a man named lazarus was sick and he was from bethany the village of mary and her sister martha

00:35:56uh this mary uh whose brother lazarus laid sick was the same one who uh poured uh uh uh perfume on the

00:36:07lord uh and and wiped his feet talking about martha not lazarus okay uh and wiped the feet with her hair

00:36:16so the sister sent word to jesus lord the one you love who's the one you love lazarus

00:36:25you guys missed that jesus the holy spirit is in a miserable place go and see about it you

00:36:38understand the one you love he says is sick when he heard this he said he said this sickness will not

00:36:48end in death no it is for god's glory so that god's son may be glorified through it jesus loved martha

00:36:58and her and um and um and her sister and lazarus yet when he heard that lazarus was sick he stayed where he

00:37:10was for two more days then he said to his disciples let us go back to judea so now he waits there two more

00:37:23days let's see i don't want to miss any parts here let's go to verse nine jesus answered are there not

00:37:3112 hours in a day a man who walks by day will stumble but but for uh for he sees the the world's uh the

00:37:41world's light it is when he walks by night that he stumbles for he has no light okay listen

00:37:50i i want to emphasize something something is about okay where lila or delilah is about to enter so day

00:38:04is about to turn tonight so he's letting them know the time is coming near after he had said this he went

00:38:11on to tell them our friend lazarus has fallen asleep but i am going to i am going there to wake him up

00:38:19his disciples replied lord as he sleeps he will get better jesus had been uh speaking of his death but the

00:38:28disciples thought he meant a natural sleep so then he told them plainly lazarus is dead and for your sake

00:38:40i am glad i was not there so that you may believe but let us go to him then thomas

00:38:48let us do to my says yeah let us all go and we'll all die because he was sarcastic okay

00:38:57um okay in verse 18 bethany was was uh uh less than two miles from from jerusalem now if i was reading

00:39:10the king james version it would say that they were 15 furloughs furloughs away from so they went 15

00:39:22they went 15 furloughs to get to where where uh uh lazarus is they traveled 15

00:39:32during the flood the boat had to go up 15 cupids above and then it was above the whole earth you

00:39:40understand we'll do a study on 15 a little later but i just want you to know why eliezer's name is

00:39:47mentioned in the 15th chapter of genesis and why eliezer is in the bible 15 times and why lazarus in

00:39:56the bible 15 times because god is trying to tell you these 15 furloughs that they're they're going to

00:40:05travel it means someone's about to get rescued you understand it means something concerning

00:40:14salvation and rescue is about to happen okay because 15 is very important so let's continue here okay um

00:40:30anyway i i don't want to get i don't want to the project here so now they get to there and it's the

00:40:36fourth day okay okay when they get there it's the fourth day that they get there now on this fourth day

00:40:46when they arrive okay four days he's in the grave lord i'm telling you by now he stinks because he's been

00:40:58there four days that's what they she told him and he said didn't i tell you i am the resurrection and the

00:41:07life didn't i just tell you he said don't worry about it he's going to live okay so on the fourth day

00:41:17jesus god goes to and calls the holy spirit out of a dark place now listen

00:41:25where he's at is a great is crazy look because you got to know when god is telling you a story he's

00:41:34giving you names he's giving you numbers he's letting you know exactly what he's doing he's matching names

00:41:41and numbers he's doing things to let you know how dynamic of a guy that you serve this is no regular

00:41:49book okay who decided that would be his name would be in the new testament 15 times god you understand

00:42:00i don't want anybody to be looking at god like we're looking at a religion i want you to see someone

00:42:06that has controlled everything since the beginning of time okay so now um listen martha's name

00:42:17name means she was rebellious but but her but the name also means but now she's become a mistress

00:42:30now she's become in a relationship but she was rebellious but now she's in relationship you understand

00:42:37so martha is representing who the church we were rebellious but now we're in relationship with god

00:42:47you understand now someone says are you stretching that's well what's martha's numerical value of

00:42:55martha's name 151 that's not by accident okay that's not by accident now watch this

00:43:05when you read the story when they bring uh when when god brings uh um his adam's bride to him

00:43:16in genesis chapter 2 verse 22 22 22 the voice of god adam receives his bride and he says bone of my bone

00:43:27flesh of my flesh flesh of my flesh which has a numerical value of one five one zero which means

00:43:35what this is the ultimate moment of of this scripture it's the full understanding of what 151 means

00:43:46they were rebellious but one day they will be bone of my bone flesh of my flesh

00:43:52they will be married to me because the second adam has to say also a bride just like me and what type

00:44:01of bride will you be a resurrected bride bone of my bone flesh of my flesh because remember in heaven

00:44:09jesus has a god has a resurrected body he has a resurrected body in heaven so he needs a bride there

00:44:20that has a resurrected body so he can say bone of my bone flesh of my flesh martha's name is 151 which is

00:44:27what the beginning of the conclusion of the marriage okay so she's representing something

00:44:35lazarus is repping representing eleazar and listen where they they're at here they are um

00:44:45bless my flesh okay lazarus which means the helper i don't want to repeat to say jesus is 888 bethany oh

00:44:54they're they're in a place called bethany okay bethany bethany is called the house of dates or really

00:45:05mean unripe fruit uh unripe figs uh unripe figs so here's eleazar he's living in bethany and the place

00:45:14is called unripe figs meaning that the season for the figs has not come the figs are not ready yet

00:45:24who's the fig tree who's the figs israel so when this taking away happens israel is not ready do you

00:45:33understand they're in a place called the house of dates and then some called it the house of misery

00:45:42so it's a miserable place and the figs are not ready sounds like earth okay but eleazar is there

00:45:52for what reason because he's got to take bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh back to the sun

00:45:58okay now you guys got to remember this god has been setting this date up with lazarus since the

00:46:07flood you understand because 40 days after the flood every year on god's calendar is hanukkah

00:46:16it's the fourth day of hanukkah which is the middle of the menorah lamp right the door which is jesus

00:46:23so the fourth the fourth lamp is always jesus on the fourth day of hanukkah now you have now you have

00:46:33uh um uh this date that's been set up by god since when since

00:46:42the flood 40 days after i mean in genesis he could have said and the flood stopped on hanukkah the fourth day

00:46:53and nobody would have knew what that was because there was no such thing as hanukkah as there was no

00:46:58uh king that was defeated or they had to take back the the so all of that was but god knew on the fourth

00:47:05day of hanukkah this is going to happen so here they finally arrive they finally arrive and it's it's um

00:47:13it's four days later and he calls eliezer out of a miserable place and eliezer comes out he says take

00:47:24off the the the the the dead clothes or the the garments of dead take that off so now

00:47:32eliezer gets called out of a miserable place where figs aren't ready and they're at a place where and

00:47:44and and i forget what the other place was called i think it was called bethany or let me see let me see

00:47:50because it was huh it was another name of a place because it was where sick people are

00:47:58it's where because the sick people used to go there and jump in the water remember that

00:48:02they would bethany where they would go and they would wait in the water because they're waiting

00:48:06for somebody to heal all of the people that were sick went to this particular place because they knew

00:48:13if we get in the water at the right time we could be healed right so this is where this whole lazarus

00:48:21study is taking place right the holy spirit is the place where people are sick they need help

00:48:27the figs aren't ready and it's a miserable place and the holy spirit is going to get called out now if the

00:48:34holy spirit gets called out on the fourth day of hanukkah then that means grace ends on the fourth day

00:48:44of hanukkah 40 days after the 17th of heshvan so now you can finally link the 17th of heshvan to god's

00:48:54end time story okay um i'm gonna read some of this because we're gonna have to bethany uh

00:49:04i'm on page four bethany house of place of uh unripe figs israel is not ready is a is a village

00:49:13located in the east slope of mount olive about one and a half miles from jerusalem or 15 furlongs

00:49:21gotta go 15 it was called also the house of misery uh on account of the lonely situation and the

00:49:30invalids who congregated there people who needed healing hung out there jesus leaves jerusalem now

00:49:38when does jesus leave listen when j when jesus calls the holy spirit out when god calls the holy spirit

00:49:47out of the world where is he coming from heavenly jerusalem okay so jesus leaves jerusalem because

00:49:58that's the way it has to happen he can't come down to bethany from another place because it wouldn't line

00:50:06up with what he's going to do in the end time he has to be in the holy jerusalem then he has to come down

00:50:13and call eliezer or lazarus out of the dead place out of the miserable dead place with dead with with

00:50:21unripe figs okay and it says jesus leaves jerusalem the city of peace where where he was uh in the temple

00:50:28of god to go to a place where the figs are not ready and people who need healing hang out he is there

00:50:38to call the dead back to life he is there who's who's who's who's going to receive their resurrected

00:50:45bodies on that day all the dead in christ will receive resurrected bodies he's there to call the

00:50:52dead back to life not meaning that the they they're waiting on their resurrected bodies remember

00:51:00those who have died in christ will be resurrected first they will they will be gathered first and

00:51:08it says then those who are walking around will be caught up to meet with them in the air so the holy spirit

00:51:15is there for what he's there to call them okay to call them out okay um so he's he's so he's called uh

00:51:26he's calling the living out of the dead place today our journey through the biblical location brings us to

00:51:34bethanya or bethany uh in the greek recorded in the new testament uh as the house of the siblings of

00:51:42mary martha and lazarus as well as uh that of simeon the leper located near jerusalem uh on the southern uh

00:51:52eastern slope of mount olive jesus is reported um wow to have lodged there after his uh entry into

00:52:04jerusalem and it could be uh from bethany that he he parted from uh from his disciples um at the

00:52:15ascension this place today uh palestine a village i don't want to get into all that bethany and the house

00:52:21of uh uh bethany is also the house of poor okay the meaning of the bethanya uh the the the house of

00:52:30the poor he left them and went out of the city of bethany bethany and lodged there genesis chapter 11

00:52:40okay

00:52:4311 is always this bad thing and i don't want to get into that right now so we're going to

00:52:52uh move on to the 15th letter of the hebrew alphabet

00:53:01how much time i got 10 minutes okay this is an introduction to the 15th letter of the alphabet

00:53:08because you got it guys got to know

00:53:12there's a there's a reason why okay here's this guy and we're gonna we'll read about the story

00:53:19tomorrow here's this guy and the prophet goes to him and he says get your house together you're

00:53:25about to die and he goes no please go talk to god for me and he says i talked to god he says okay it's

00:53:32cool he's going to give you 15 more years he says but on the third day after the 15 years you're going

00:53:38to go up to the house of god why 15 because the rescue happens after what 15 and the boat was 15

00:53:49cubits above the whole finally above the whole world and and and noah and his family they finally

00:53:55had some calmness because the water the boat was now above all the the earth okay now

00:54:06let's talk about this okay so now you got this this number cement okay uh cement is the 15th letter of the

00:54:14hebrew alphabet numerical value when you write out cement is 120 120 is what the congregation the

00:54:24pillars the church okay so cement is representing the church five five five equals what the perfect order of

00:54:34grace grace grace this is why 15th letter is so important you don't he god doesn't even

00:54:44use the cement letter in the hebrew in the in the hebrew bible until he introduces um uh uh uh the bride

00:54:55to adam then he finally uses the cement when he introduces the bride to adam okay so this letter

00:55:05carries big weight because this 15 is five five five and it is grace grace grace and it's

00:55:13also the name of the name of god before man needed a rescue it was yah it was not yah they yahveh it was yah

00:55:25the yard and the hay okay it was yah which is numerical value 15 okay so now you got 15 is the name of god

00:55:37why because 5 5 5 5 is the perfect order of grace because god is about to extend grace until people who

00:55:45have no who do not deserve it okay so 15 becomes everything i'm just going to read here in genesis

00:55:53chapter 7 verse 19 and 20 it says the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth and all the high hills that

00:56:01were under the whole heavens were covered 15 cupids upward did the water prevail uh and the mountains were

00:56:10covered okay complete judgment at 15 cupids deep okay now i'm going to go to the next page because i might

00:56:19have six minutes left

00:56:27listen to this

00:56:29second king chapter 20 verse 6 and i will add unto thy days 15 years and i will deliver thee and this city

00:56:38out of the hands of the king of assyria and i will defend uh this city for my own sake for my my

00:56:46my servant david's sake okay uh so now his death was delayed 15 years then there'll be a rescue

00:56:53uh john chapter 11 verse 17 through 18 then jesus came and he found that he had uh uh laying in the

00:57:03grave for four days wait a minute that you found out on the first day of hanukkah and you and you and

00:57:09you stayed there even two more days and you didn't get there to what to the fourth day here it is it

00:57:16says and when jesus came and found he and laying there in the grave four days now it's the fourth day

00:57:22of of the feast of dedication now bethany was nigh jerusalem 15 furlongs off so now you go another 15 and

00:57:29there's going to be a rescue esther at the time of esther listen it says to establish among them and they

00:57:36should be uh the 14th day of adar and the 15th day of the same year as they were uh wherein where the

00:57:45jews rested from their enemies when on the 15th day not the 14th on the 15th day okay now

00:57:55if you go to the book of acts you will see that they finally were rescued the trip started in the

00:58:07book of acts chapter 27 started in the book of acts at a city called crete which means in the flesh

00:58:15and it ends in a city called malta which is the land of honey okay now it was on the 15th

00:58:27we'll read it tomorrow but um there it was on the 15th that they were finally rescued how many were

00:58:34rescued how many were rescued on that 15th huh two two hundred and seventy six okay now what is the

00:58:46numerical value for salvation in hebrew six the vow six times two seventy six is what one thousand six

00:58:56six hundred and fifty six the same year of the flood you understand who's putting this book together

00:59:06god he says two seventy six times two seventy six times salvation equals the same year that the flood

00:59:16began and now these guys these two seventy six get rescued when on the 15th day and they and they

00:59:24started their their journey in the flesh and they're ending in the in the land of honey you understand

00:59:32so god is he's linking all of this together to show you that he is that he has been been been uh planning

00:59:44this rescue um and this rescue has to do with what happened on the 17th of heshvan what happened on the

00:59:5417th of heshvan it was the beginning of the judgment and the end of the judgment was 40 days later

01:00:04when the boat was 15 cupids high okay so now you got the beginning of the story you got the end of the

01:00:16the end of the story you got god inputting lazarus into the story so that you can see that lazarus is the same

01:00:26as eliezer this is all about the holy spirit rescuing and the 15s are always about the rescuing in the 15th

01:00:35okay so um i've i've finished there we're going to uh look at this tomorrow um what we're going to look at

01:00:47tomorrow is uh acts chapter 27 verse 21 uh 244 and acts 28 1 and 2 and um we're going to talk about the 120

01:01:00um um um because um the 120 is the rescue of the church and that's 1 plus 2 plus 3 all the way to 15

01:01:10is 120 1 plus 2 plus 3 plus 4 plus 5 plus 6 plus 7 plus 8 all the way to all the way to 15 is what 120

01:01:211 plus 2 plus 3 plus 4 all the way to 17 is what 153 watch this 1 plus 2 plus 3 plus 4 all the way to 23

01:01:3023 is what 276 so who's doing the math and who's telling the story you understand and this is what

01:01:40i'm trying to say god has been telling us our rescue plan for a long time it has to do with the holy spirit

01:01:48in the world for a purpose to do what to rescue a bride out of a miserable place where the figs are not

01:01:58ready you understand and it's linked to what it's linked to noah's days it's linked to noah's days it

01:02:09has to be because hanukkah fourth is 40 days after the flood began so let's finish this study tomorrow

01:02:24when did you come up with that what this message pastor ben how many times have i preached this

01:02:32all right thank you pastor ben well i got to tell you i'm sitting over there amazed because this

01:02:39morning as the lord was talking to us about frustrations and we were sharing our frustrations

01:02:44with each other yeah pastor joe said this sounds an awful lot like the story of lazarus yeah and so

01:02:53we started talking about that story and we realized how many people pretty much everyone all the

01:03:00characters in the chapter of john chapter 11 had some form of frustration that they were dealing with

01:03:05mm-hmm some of them believed some of them didn't believe yeah believe got frustrated and left uh-huh

01:03:13but those who stayed and those who believed saw god were saw right right come back right from the day

01:03:22yes our belief overcomes frustration yes and we can be like jesus who says

01:03:29to his father after we pray because we believe in jesus and we give him our frustrations we too can

01:03:37say father i thank you that you have heard me and you know jesus says in john 11 i am the resurrection

01:03:48and the life he who believes in me though he may die he shall live and whoever lives and believes in me

01:03:59shall never die do you believe this belief in jesus produces eternal life

01:04:14jesus is here today desiring to take every frustration that we have to turn our unbelief into

01:04:22belief so that we can be raised again from the death and be with him amen amen praise god let's pray yeah

01:04:32pray out god says continue in me father

01:04:37thank you for what we heard lord we we pray tonight for anyone tonight who's struggling with frustration

01:04:44maybe maybe they're hurting tonight because of the loss of a loved one you gave pastor sandy this message

01:04:53to remind us that you are the resurrection and the life and if whoever believes in you is not dead

01:04:58they're only sleeping amen so god we thank you that we have that hope we thank you god for who you are

01:05:05we pray that you would increase our belief in you and give to you everything every day that we may

01:05:12struggle with or are frustrated with we pray that we would continue to grow through grace knowledge and

01:05:18truth in jesus name we pray
