00:00:21Thank you for a time, as our time continues, dear Lord,

00:00:24to continue to be in your presence, dear Jesus,

00:00:27allowing your words to minister to our hearts, dear Lord,

00:00:31landing on solid ground, dear Jesus,

00:00:33taking up root, dear Lord,

00:00:38that we have a greater understanding of your word

00:01:40Everybody is here.

00:01:41How many African-American ladies we got here?

00:01:46I was watching this cartoon, right?

00:01:48And this girl just got her hair pressed.

00:01:51She just got her hair did.

00:01:53And she was like, these kids are squirting water guns

00:01:57and they're too close to her hair.

00:02:00She was like, no, no, no.

00:02:02You don't be squirting that water near my hair.

00:02:11And, you know, I was just thinking, like,

00:02:13if you're not black and you haven't experienced that,

00:02:16and then someone came up to her and said,

00:02:18you want to go swimming?

00:02:19She was like, no, I just got my hair done.

00:02:21And it was like, her whole thing was like protecting her hair, right?

00:02:25And then at the end of the cartoon, it said, like,

00:02:29only we fought against sin like this

00:02:34or only if we protected ourselves against sin like this.

00:02:37You know what I mean?

00:02:38Because something is so important.

00:02:40You're like, you're avoiding it like the plague, right?

00:02:43And that's how God wants us to be with sin

00:02:47because it's just a horrible thing right now.

00:02:50We are living right now in the days of Laodicea.

00:02:56We are the last church to exist upon the earth

00:03:00before the return of Christ, okay?

00:03:04And I want you to know God has very little,

00:03:08if any, good things to say about the church of Laodicea.

00:03:13Laodicea is a church that even Jesus doesn't go inside of.

00:03:20He stands on the outside and he knocks

00:03:22and he's looking for somebody inside there to come out, okay?

00:03:27So I want you to understand the Laodicean church

00:03:31is the last church that exists before the coming of the Lord, okay?

00:03:38It is, Leah had seven children

00:03:41and the last of her children was a girl.

00:03:46She had six boys and then she had a girl.

00:03:47And her seven children represent the seven churches of the Bible.

00:03:53So the last one is a girl because out of all the seven,

00:03:58the weakest one, and I'm saying physically,

00:04:00the weakest one would have been the girl, right?

00:04:03And it was absolutely true.

00:04:05The daughter of Leah had a big problem.

00:04:09And what was her problem?

00:04:10She wanted to mingle with the world.

00:04:15She wanted to see how the world was living

00:04:18and she wanted to go among the world

00:04:20and she wanted to hang out for a day or so

00:04:23and see how the other side lives

00:04:26because she was living in a very religious community

00:04:30of Jewish believers who were obeying the law.

00:04:37And so she went out to go and see

00:04:41how the other side was living.

00:04:43And while she was out there,

00:04:45something horrible happened to her, right?

00:04:48And so the scripture is always trying to say to us,

00:04:53look, even though you're living in the days of Laodicea,

00:04:56do not become attracted to the world.

00:05:00Although that is the characteristic of our church,

00:05:03do not become attracted to the world.

00:05:07It looks good, it may look fun,

00:05:11but nobody out there loves you.

00:05:13You understand?

00:05:14You go to a nightclub, nobody cares you or Christian.

00:05:18I want you to know.

00:05:19So make sure that you are watching over

00:05:24what you have inside of you,

00:05:27which is God's Holy Spirit

00:05:29that gives you access to the kingdom of God.

00:05:33I want us to go to the book of Revelation.

00:05:36We're going to be at chapter three.

00:05:49I was watching a Holocaust movie

00:05:53and the beginning of it was

00:05:58the Jewish nation living among the Germans

00:06:02and everybody, everything was going well.

00:06:04It had not gone crazy yet.

00:06:07It was going pretty good.

00:06:08So there were a lot of Jewish businesses opening

00:06:12and they still had Jewish synagogues in Germany

00:06:16and all of this stuff.

00:06:18And then how they began to destroy them

00:06:24was that they told them

00:06:27that they were going to take them to work camps

00:06:30and give them jobs

00:06:31so that they could make more money

00:06:34because the economy was slowing down.

00:06:37And so they would go and gather all these Jews

00:06:40and they would think that they're going to go to a job.

00:06:44And then they would put them in a truck.

00:06:46They would tell them to take off all this stuff.

00:06:48And leave their belongings there

00:06:50and get in this truck.

00:06:52And then we're going to take you to your job.

00:06:55But then the top and everything would close on the truck

00:06:58and then they would put the gas in there.

00:07:00And so they would, by the time they got to the location,

00:07:03they would all be dead inside the truck.

00:07:05Then they had another group of Jews

00:07:07to empty the truck and bury them.

00:07:10And they were doing this every day.

00:07:13And this is a true story.

00:07:14Because he thought when he was going to work for them

00:07:20that he was going to work for them

00:07:22for something good to help the Jewish people.

00:07:24But he was just going to empty the truck

00:07:27after they killed the dead bodies.

00:07:29You understand?

00:07:29So they didn't really understand

00:07:33what they were about to enter into.

00:07:35And it was covert at the time.

00:07:38But then after they discovered what they were doing,

00:07:42it was over.

00:07:44After that, they just said,

00:07:46we don't care if you do know what we're doing,

00:07:49we're going to do it.

00:07:50So they start just rounding them up

00:07:53and kicking them out of their homes and everything.

00:07:55And I was like,

00:07:58I know that they were warned that the times were coming.

00:08:03And I know they were warned about the times of Hitler.

00:08:08But nobody took heed to,

00:08:10well, most of the people did not take heed to

00:08:13the warning that was coming.

00:08:15You have something inside of you

00:08:19that God has given you as a gift

00:08:21and it is eternal life.

00:08:23God wants you to inherit it.

00:08:26But I want you to know

00:08:27that it is something that you have to fight for.

00:08:30You understand?

00:08:31And that's why I brought up the thing with the hair.

00:08:34They were so strong in fighting for their hair

00:08:37to keep their hair good.

00:08:39You understand?

00:08:41And I said,

00:08:42I hope that Christians understand

00:08:46how they're fighting

00:08:48is how we should be fighting against sin.

00:08:51I don't want any parts of it.

00:08:53Someone asked her if you want to go swimming.

00:08:55She said,

00:08:56are you crazy?

00:08:58Do you know how much my hair costs?

00:08:59I am not going swimming.

00:09:01So I just want you to know that

00:09:03they wanted nothing to do with sin.

00:09:07You understand?

00:09:08And your life has to be the same way

00:09:11if you're going to be victorious

00:09:13in this matter.

00:09:14Let's go to,

00:09:16we're in the book of Laodicea.

00:09:19We're in chapter three.

00:09:23I mean, the book of Revelation.

00:09:26It has Laodicea in there.

00:09:29All right.

00:09:31And,

00:09:31did I say the book of Laodicea?

00:09:36Okay.

00:09:36All right.

00:09:39Okay.

00:09:40So,

00:09:41okay.

00:09:46We're going to start in verse 11.

00:09:48Okay.

00:09:49It says,

00:09:50I am coming soon.

00:09:53Okay.

00:09:54Hold on to what you have

00:09:56so that you will,

00:09:59you will,

00:10:00so that no one will take your crown.

00:10:04I am coming soon.

00:10:07Hold on to what you have.

00:10:09This is a letter

00:10:10to the church of Laodicea.

00:10:13Hold on to what you have

00:10:15so that no one takes your crown.

00:10:18So you are,

00:10:19you have something

00:10:20that is valuable

00:10:22and God's saying,

00:10:24hold on because

00:10:25you don't want anyone

00:10:27to take your crown.

00:10:29It says,

00:10:30him who overcomes,

00:10:33I will make a pillar

00:10:36in the temple of my God.

00:10:39And the pillar is the congregation.

00:10:42So,

00:10:42if you hold on,

00:10:44you will become a part

00:10:46of the,

00:10:47of the congregation

00:10:48in the temple of God.

00:10:51Never again

00:10:53will he leave you.

00:10:55I will write on him

00:10:58the name of my God

00:11:01and the name of the city

00:11:04of my God.

00:11:06The new Jerusalem.

00:11:09So the name of the new city

00:11:10that is coming down

00:11:12out of heaven

00:11:12and the name of the new Jerusalem

00:11:14that is the city

00:11:16that is coming down

00:11:17is called

00:11:18the new Jerusalem.

00:11:20Why is it called

00:11:21the new Jerusalem?

00:11:22There must have been

00:11:24a previous Jerusalem

00:11:26if this is,

00:11:28if this is going to be

00:11:29the new Jerusalem.

00:11:31Okay?

00:11:32So,

00:11:33like I've been trying

00:11:34to tell you,

00:11:35the previous Jerusalem

00:11:37did exist.

00:11:39The previous Jerusalem

00:11:41did have citizens.

00:11:44Only problem is

00:11:45the previous Jerusalem

00:11:47only had angels

00:11:48as citizens.

00:11:49It wasn't until

00:11:51sin entered

00:11:53into that Jerusalem

00:11:54and,

00:11:55and,

00:11:56and deceived

00:11:57a third of its citizens

00:11:58and they were

00:12:00kicked out of heaven

00:12:01that God decided

00:12:03he's going to make

00:12:04a new city

00:12:05with new citizens

00:12:07and a new start.

00:12:10And so,

00:12:11the whole process

00:12:13of what the world

00:12:14is going through

00:12:15is God's plan

00:12:17on creating

00:12:18a new city

00:12:20with new citizens.

00:12:21with both angels

00:12:23and humans

00:12:25living in the same city.

00:12:28Everyone

00:12:29inside of them

00:12:31living eternal life.

00:12:33So,

00:12:34the whole problem

00:12:36with church is

00:12:38many people

00:12:39want to go to church

00:12:41but nobody wants

00:12:43to hear the truth.

00:12:44so lies

00:12:46are easy

00:12:47to preach

00:12:50in a church

00:12:51because,

00:12:53and I said,

00:12:53Lord,

00:12:53people don't want

00:12:54to hear lies

00:12:55and he said,

00:12:55and the Lord

00:12:56corrected me immediately.

00:12:57He's like,

00:12:57no,

00:12:58your whole body

00:12:59craves for lies.

00:13:01Your whole body

00:13:03is craving

00:13:03for a lie

00:13:04at all times.

00:13:06Your whole body

00:13:06is saying,

00:13:07eat that,

00:13:07it's good for you.

00:13:09No,

00:13:09it's not.

00:13:10but it'll do it.

00:13:11You understand?

00:13:12Your whole body

00:13:13is always,

00:13:14is infested

00:13:16with sin.

00:13:17The scripture says,

00:13:19even your own heart

00:13:20lies to you

00:13:21all the time.

00:13:24It's,

00:13:25it lies.

00:13:25It says,

00:13:26look,

00:13:27we just going to watch

00:13:28a movie,

00:13:28girl.

00:13:29You're going to be all right.

00:13:31That's your body.

00:13:32Okay.

00:13:34It's just a little kissing.

00:13:36It ain't really sin.

00:13:38You know what I mean?

00:13:39And it escalates

00:13:40and escalates

00:13:41until it's,

00:13:43I got to tell my mama.

00:13:46You understand?

00:13:47So you want people

00:13:48to understand,

00:13:50you don't want to play

00:13:51with sin

00:13:51because sin

00:13:53always has consequences.

00:13:55You understand?

00:13:56So,

00:13:57the new Jerusalem

00:13:58is coming down.

00:14:00Okay.

00:14:00And it says here,

00:14:02I will make you a pillar

00:14:04in the temple of my God.

00:14:05Never again

00:14:05will he leave it.

00:14:07I will write

00:14:09on him

00:14:09the name of my God

00:14:11and the name

00:14:11of the city of my God,

00:14:12the new Jerusalem,

00:14:14which is coming down

00:14:15out of heaven

00:14:16from my God

00:14:18and I will also

00:14:19write on him

00:14:20my new name.

00:14:23He who has an ear,

00:14:25let him hear

00:14:27what the Spirit

00:14:28says to the church.

00:14:30Here we go.

00:14:34These are the words

00:14:36of the amen,

00:14:37the faithful

00:14:38and true witness,

00:14:40the ruler

00:14:40of God's creation.

00:14:42Who is that?

00:14:43Jesus Christ.

00:14:45I know your deeds.

00:14:47He's talking to the church

00:14:48of Laodicea.

00:14:49I don't want you guys

00:14:52to listen to this

00:14:53as he's talking

00:14:54to a church

00:14:55many years ago.

00:14:57He's talking

00:14:58to a future church

00:14:59that's going

00:15:00to exist.

00:15:01You understand?

00:15:02He's not talking

00:15:03to the past.

00:15:04He's saying,

00:15:05I'm prophesying

00:15:06to you

00:15:06a church like this

00:15:08is going to exist

00:15:09in the future

00:15:10and I'm talking

00:15:11to you right now.

00:15:12Okay?

00:15:13So he says,

00:15:14I know

00:15:16your deeds

00:15:17that you are

00:15:19neither

00:15:19cold

00:15:20nor hot.

00:15:22I wish you

00:15:23were one

00:15:24or the other

00:15:25so because

00:15:26you are lukewarm

00:15:27neither hot

00:15:28nor cold

00:15:29I am about

00:15:30to spit you

00:15:31out of my mouth.

00:15:33Now,

00:15:33he's saying

00:15:34I am about

00:15:35to spit you

00:15:36out of my mouth.

00:15:37Why?

00:15:37Because the tribulation

00:15:38hasn't happened yet.

00:15:40So what this is

00:15:42is a warning

00:15:43to that future church

00:15:45that you are

00:15:47about to

00:15:48intervene to

00:15:48tribulation.

00:15:49You are about

00:15:51to be spit out.

00:15:52You understand?

00:15:54So you don't

00:15:55want to be

00:15:56I don't know

00:15:57if you're hot

00:15:58or cold.

00:15:58You don't want

00:15:59to be that

00:15:59lukewarm

00:16:00Christian.

00:16:01You want to be

00:16:02on fire

00:16:03for God.

00:16:06And so

00:16:07what the Lord

00:16:10is trying

00:16:10is telling

00:16:11me

00:16:11is that

00:16:12this judgment

00:16:14is coming

00:16:15on the world

00:16:17and it's coming

00:16:19on those

00:16:19who

00:16:20play

00:16:22church

00:16:23and enjoy

00:16:25it.

00:16:26They don't

00:16:27just

00:16:27I wish

00:16:30I could say

00:16:30they don't

00:16:31go to church

00:16:32but they

00:16:33do.

00:16:34They love

00:16:35church.

00:16:36They love

00:16:36the music.

00:16:38They love

00:16:38everything

00:16:39about church.

00:16:40Only thing

00:16:41they don't

00:16:41like

00:16:42about church

00:16:43is the

00:16:45Bible

00:16:45because the

00:16:48Bible has

00:16:49rules

00:16:50and that

00:16:51kind of gets

00:16:51in the way

00:16:52of their

00:16:52lifestyle.

00:16:54But the

00:16:55singing is

00:16:55awesome.

00:16:57Sometimes

00:16:57they sing

00:16:58so much

00:16:59they go on

00:17:00the ground

00:17:00and they

00:17:01start crying

00:17:02and they

00:17:03say nobody

00:17:03is perfect

00:17:04but you

00:17:05Lord

00:17:06and they're

00:17:07right.

00:17:08But they

00:17:08don't say

00:17:09it because

00:17:09they acknowledge

00:17:10that they

00:17:11say it

00:17:11because they

00:17:12know they're

00:17:12sinning

00:17:13and they

00:17:15want to say

00:17:16no one's

00:17:16perfect but

00:17:17you.

00:17:18And God

00:17:19is saying

00:17:20you can

00:17:21walk in

00:17:22obedience

00:17:22if you

00:17:23want.

00:17:25Church

00:17:26right now

00:17:28is the

00:17:29worst it

00:17:30has ever

00:17:31been in

00:17:32the history

00:17:33of churches.

00:17:35And I

00:17:36know you

00:17:36guys don't

00:17:37explore it

00:17:38the way

00:17:38God has

00:17:39had me

00:17:39explore it

00:17:40but I

00:17:41try to

00:17:42tell you

00:17:42guys about

00:17:43different

00:17:44churches that

00:17:45are set up

00:17:45right now

00:17:46that are

00:17:47absolutely

00:17:47crazy and

00:17:49you should

00:17:49have nothing

00:17:50to do with

00:17:51them.

00:17:52But I

00:17:54don't care

00:17:54how many

00:17:55times I

00:17:56could stand

00:17:56in here and

00:17:56show you a

00:17:57picture of

00:17:57the person

00:17:58what he's

00:17:59doing what

00:17:59he's done

00:18:00in the past

00:18:00and nobody

00:18:01from that

00:18:02church is

00:18:03going to

00:18:03leave that

00:18:06person.

00:18:09We had a

00:18:10pastor that

00:18:11was sleeping

00:18:12with four

00:18:13boys in

00:18:14his not

00:18:15four women

00:18:15four boys

00:18:16in his

00:18:17congregation

00:18:18and came

00:18:19back to the

00:18:20church and

00:18:21talked to

00:18:22the people

00:18:22and for a

00:18:24year hardly

00:18:25anybody left

00:18:26that church.

00:18:26nobody

00:18:28left.

00:18:28He paid

00:18:29settlements

00:18:31to the

00:18:31four boys

00:18:32and everybody

00:18:34said this

00:18:35is what he

00:18:35did but

00:18:36nobody left

00:18:37the church.

00:18:38I think

00:18:39King's daughter

00:18:40was going

00:18:40there and

00:18:40she left

00:18:41and she

00:18:42said she

00:18:43wanted nothing

00:18:43to do with

00:18:44it anymore.

00:18:44She was

00:18:45done.

00:18:46said well

00:18:46good for

00:18:47her but

00:18:48she said

00:18:48the majority

00:18:49of people

00:18:49nobody's

00:18:50leaving because

00:18:50they love

00:20:15multimillionaire

00:20:16if you

00:20:16sow it

00:20:16today.

00:20:17that guy

00:20:19has no

00:20:20fear of

00:20:20God.

00:20:22But this

00:20:25was the

00:20:25crazy part

00:20:26as he's

00:20:27talking and

00:20:28it's this

00:20:28big audience

00:20:29not one

00:20:55brought me

00:20:56scripture.

00:20:57They will

00:20:57gather around

00:20:58themselves.

00:21:01Teachers who

00:21:03tickle their

00:21:03ears.

00:21:04Teachers who

00:21:05teach what

00:21:06they want to

00:21:07hear.

00:21:07You understand?

00:21:12know that if

00:21:13this is not

00:21:14about the

00:21:15whole community

00:21:16of church.

00:21:18If it was

00:21:19about the

00:21:20whole community

00:21:22judge us as

00:21:23a whole

00:21:23community.

00:21:25The problem

00:21:26is God is

00:21:26judging

00:21:27individuals who

00:21:29have accepted

00:21:30an invitation

00:21:31to walk

00:21:32with God.

00:21:34And in

00:21:35doing so

00:21:36he has

00:21:37given you

00:21:37responsibility

00:21:38over your
