YOU NEED SALVATION THROUGH JESUS CHRIST

Pray this prayer of Repentance & Salvation, and ask Christ Jesus to come into your life and save you from Sin and the Wrath of God.

Father God, in the name of Jesus, thank you for your Son Jesus Christ, who died on the cross because of my sins and the sins of this world.
I believe that Jesus Christ came to earth, the Holy God in the form of a man, lived, was crucified, hung on a cross, died, and was buried, rose on the 3rd day, and that same Jesus Christ was God in the flesh. I believe that Jesus Christ did all this for ME, and I accept Jesus Christ as MY Lord and Savior. I am confessing with MY own mouth and I do believe in MY own heart that He truly is God. I confess MY sins to you and you alone, and I am asking for forgiveness. Come into my Life, to be my God and Savior. Write my name in the book of life. And help me to serve you, and help me to live a righteous life before you. Thank you. Amen

00:00:00where things aren't as goofy as it was the day before, you know, but then you have your battles
00:00:05because you're in a battle. You're in warfare. And that's what happens when you're in warfare,
00:00:10you get attacked. And the problem is if you don't fight back, that's the problem.
00:00:16Amen. Well, let's see where we is. We're going to see where we is, Abby. Amen. Let's see. And
00:00:25we're live. Amen. There we go, Abby. You did it. Yeah. Well, God did it, but he used your fingers.
00:00:33Amen. So God is able. God is able. So I'm going to start back. The title of the message is
00:00:41Few There Be That Find It. And the subtitle is Warning. Beware of the easy and the popular way.
00:00:50We get on these platforms and we hear all these different people talking about all these different
00:00:56ways, you know, that they can have a relationship with God without actually having to do the work
00:01:01that it takes to have a relationship. I'm going to tell you, I've been married a long time.
00:01:07And if you want to stay married, you're going to put some work into that way. You're going to work
00:01:12at it. You know, I, you know, it's, uh, Abby, you know what? I know you've been jumping up this
00:01:18probably like the eighth time you jumped up. I'm going to try to make this the last time.
00:01:22Move that old boy right there. That way it's not blocking Emerson. Oh, you got it, Emerson. Okay.
00:01:28He said he spared you because I don't want Emerson blocked. Amen. And I want to still keep being able
00:01:34to see. So there we go, brother Emerson. You know what? This dude is not, he's not ashamed to work.
00:01:42This is an old school brother right here. He's not an old man. He's just old school. That's good,
00:01:47Emerson. Thank you. I'll back it up just a little bit. He's not, he's not an old man. He's middle
00:01:54aged, but he don't mind working. Thank you, sir. He don't mind working. Good morning. Good morning.
00:02:02Oh my goodness. Come here, come here, come here, come here. Oh my goodness. You're such a big girl.
00:02:10You were a little squirt last time I saw you. Oh God bless you. It's so good to see you.
00:02:16Are you still in Vegas? You still in Vegas? It's good to see you, girl. You're such a big girl.
00:02:21A little squirt. Amen. Good morning, children. How you guys doing? God bless you. They're my boys.
00:02:28Amen. Good morning, mom and pop. How y'all doing? Amen. So they get on these platforms and they're
00:02:35looking for the easiest way to serve God. It doesn't have to be the right way, just as long
00:02:42as it's easier than what the scriptures are saying, because what the scriptures are saying,
00:02:47that's hard. I don't want to do all of that. And so, you know, you have people looking for feel good
00:02:53messages. You have people looking for, you know, how do I live saved without having to be that saved? And
00:02:59how do I get to do this without having to do all of that? And that's not how you maintain a
00:03:07relationship. If you're always looking for the easy way out, you're probably going to have a really
00:03:13difficult relationship because true relationships take work. True relationships take real work and it
00:03:24takes real time. And it's not, it's not always easy. It's, it's, it's not always convenient and
00:03:31it's not always exactly the way you want it. But if you want to keep it, you're going to have to work
00:03:37at it. Well, how long you have to work at it? Well, as long until one of y'all kicked the bucket,
00:03:42then you have options, you know, you can do something else. But as long as both of you are together,
00:03:48the both of you still need to keep working at it. And so being in Christ is a relationship
00:03:54and you have to, Emerson, you're going to have to hit us with some air. All right, Abby. Okay.
00:04:00Woo child. Everything got warm up here. Being in Christ is a relationship and you have to nurture
00:04:10and you have to work on your relationship. I think it might be too much for back, for them back there.
00:04:17Okay. If you guys get too cold, let us know because you're right under the AC. Okay. So let us know if
00:04:23you get too cold. So, uh, this relationship with God, you have to work at it. It's relationship. You
00:04:28have to nurture your relationship. You have to pay attention to your relationship. You have to give
00:04:33your all in the relationship. It's a relationship and you have to do your part or it's not going to
00:04:40work. Good morning, Jaco. Good morning, Miracle. How you guys love the jacket miracle. You guys have to
00:04:46work at the relationship. Did she grow last time? Come here, Miracle. Is that what it is? Stop messing
00:04:54with me. Wait a minute. I just saw her last Sunday. Something ain't right. Okay. All right. Tell me
00:05:04something. Okay. I'm like, something ain't right. Okay. Thank you. All right. At ease. Okay. So, uh,
00:05:11we gotta, we gotta, we gotta keep, we gotta keep going. Just a couple of things. Uh, I want to go,
00:05:17I want to bring up before we get into the message. Okay. Um, what's easy is not always right with God.
00:05:26Okay. So if you're looking for the easy way out or a easier way to serve God or a more fun way to serve
00:05:35God, it may not necessarily be something that God will accept. Okay. Just so you know. And what's
00:05:43popular is not always reality because there are lots, there are a lot of things online that are very
00:05:51popular, but they're not real life. Okay. These are people online pretending to be in a real life
00:05:59situation when they're, they're actually not, but you don't see that part because it's like watching
00:06:04television. You know, and if you believe the soap operas, you jacked up. Well, they don't know what
00:06:10soap, do they know what soap operas are? I don't think they do, do they? You know? Okay. You old,
00:06:16you, you, you, none of y'all know, you might know, maybe, you know, you know, okay. So soap operas,
00:06:22they still are, they're still on sweet Moses, the same ones. Oh my goodness. What watching TV drama
00:06:31acting and you, I'm going to be like so-and-so on, on, on, on, on, on, on the, on the young and the
00:06:39restless. Is that still on? Oh my goodness.
00:06:42And Victor Newman is still, oh my goodness. Okay. I remember the girl named, named Nikki
00:06:52when she was in her teens, she was a hooker. And now, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Now she's rich boy,
00:07:01boy, boy. And so if you are, if you're basing your real life on TV drama, Satan got you.
00:07:10He got you. He got you because he controls what you see on TV. He controls what goes on behind the
00:07:19camera. So, and he does the same thing on platforms, internet platforms. He's got a lot of people out
00:07:26there controlling a lot of stuff. And if you're watching, if you're, if you're basing your walk
00:07:33on something you've seen online, you might be in the jaws of the lion because that's not reality.
00:07:43You don't, you know, people have fake backgrounds. They rent offices. They, they rent other people's
00:07:49houses. You don't know what these people are doing. And you're basing your life on something
00:07:53that's probably not real. And Satan's got you because now that he knows that you think that's
00:08:02real, he can convince you that everything God says may not necessarily be real.
00:08:11Let me run this around so y'all can hear this real good. Y'all got that? Oh, I'm sorry. I went over
00:08:16here. Okay. And so we're going to talk about some reality this morning. That's what this lesson is
00:08:26about. We're going to talk about some reality. So let's go to, we're going to start at Matthew 13
00:08:31through 23 in verse number 13. Even enter through the narrow gate for wide is the gate and broad and
00:08:43easy to travel is the path that lead that lead the way to destruction and eternal loss. Okay. And there
00:08:55are many who enter through it. So the path that leads you to absolute destruction. Okay. So let me
00:09:07explain to you this way. When you, how many of you all have traveled on the airplane before? Just raise your
00:09:13hand. Okay. All right. So when you travel on, on something like an airplane, you're limited
00:09:18to what you can bring on. You can't get a steamer trunk, fill it up full of rocks and bricks and bring
00:09:26it onto the air that they're not going to, you can't do that. They're just, there's just certain things you
00:09:31cannot bring with you when you're flying on a plane, they limit what you can bring. And if you have a
00:09:39problem with that, then they tell you to take the bus. Okay. Because they, there, you only have so many
00:09:45options. And once you run out of options, then you need to find you someplace else to, another way to
00:09:49get there. So, so when you're flying, there are limitations when you, but if you're driving
00:09:58or you're riding in a bus, or you have a car with a trailer attached and you can pile all your stuff on
00:10:05then you can take whatever you want, wherever you're going. Okay. But if you want to fly,
00:10:10there are limitations and there are, there are strictly enforced. Y'all still with me so far?
00:10:16When you're with Christ, there are limitations and they are strictly enforced.
00:10:22On an airplane, if you're flying on the air, you, there's a lot of stuff you can't bring with you.
00:10:27When people are in, when you are in Christ, there's a lot of luggage that you had
00:10:32before you came to Christ that you cannot bring with you on your journey with Christ.
00:10:38Some of your luggage might be lying. The Bible says, God hates a lying tongue. He does not hate you.
00:10:44He hates the lyingness that comes out of that big yap in the middle of your head.
00:10:49Okay. The Bible says, God hates a lying tongue. So you're going to have to leave the lying behind
00:10:55because you can't bring that on this journey. Okay. If you're a fornicator or you like playing
00:11:01around guys like that's prohibited on this flight, you can't bring that with you. Well,
00:11:07I just got to have it because you know, that's just my guy. So well, you need to take the bus
00:11:11because you're not bringing it here. Okay. Y'all follow me? You cannot bring it. And so if you want
00:11:18to fly, you will comply with the rules, right? Now, if you want to bring carry on luggage and all
00:11:25that stuff, a lot of airlines, they're charging you for everything you bring on, right? So everything
00:11:32costs. Y'all still with me? There are no free flights. Everything costs. If you want to be with
00:11:42God, it's going to cost you something, right? But check this out. Even if you don't want to be
00:11:50with God, being with Satan, that's going to cost you too. So either way it go, whichever way you
00:11:56travel is going to cost you, right? It just depends on which way you want to go. Are y'all still with
00:12:05me? It's going to mean something in a minute. Just hold on. Stop yelling at me. Don't be looking at me
00:12:10y'all. Give me the skunk eye. I'm getting there. All right. So verse number, oh, oh, oh. Okay. So
00:12:17this is what I want you to do. I want you to turn all the way to page number six. I want you to turn
00:12:25to page number six. And in John 10, 9, it says, I am the gate. If anyone enters through me,
00:12:36this is Christ, he will be saved. He will come in and go out and find pasture. That's on page. I'm
00:12:46sorry. Page number six. I'm sorry. Page number six, John 10, 9. I am the gate. Now flip back to page one.
00:12:58Verse number 13, enter through the narrow gate. Who's the gate? Jesus is the gate.
00:13:06So if you want to enter in, you're going to enter into by way of Christ. And Christ says,
00:13:13I am the narrow gate. So you're not bringing this worldly stuff through me.
00:13:22Y'all read that, right? John 10, 9. He says, I'm the gate. Matthew 7, 13 says, enter through the
00:13:30narrow gate. Christ is the narrow gate. If you want to enter into the kingdom of God,
00:13:36you can only get in there through the gate. Christ says, I'm the gate. And it's a very narrow
00:13:42gate. So if you want to get in, these are the rules. But here's the beautiful part of the whole
00:13:50thing. Well, beautiful for us that have accepted it. Not so much for those that haven't, but the
00:13:54beautiful part is I have a choice. I can say yes or no. My choice was yes. So I'm good.
00:14:01But those of you that said, I don't know, you might have a problem. And those of you that said,
00:14:08no, oh, you definitely got a problem. Y'all still with me? How we doing, Deacon? We doing that? We
00:14:14doing amen? We all right. Okay. So verse number 14, but small is the gate and narrow and difficult.
00:14:23I'm sorry. Let me start over. But small is the gate and narrow and difficult to travel is the path
00:14:33that leads the way to everlasting life. And there are few who find it. So Christ is telling us this is
00:14:45not an easy journey. So don't come in. What we, the church, for years have done new converts a disservice
00:14:54by not warning them in advance that this is not going to be easy. Because they come in and they're
00:15:02energized, they're excited, and it's, oh, and they should be. I was. They should be. Because they have
00:15:08accepted life. But then we don't sit down and correct or make sure that they understand
00:15:15that, yes, you've accepted life. And yes, this is the best decision you have ever made. And there
00:15:21will never be a decision better or like this one. However, you're going to have to fight.
00:15:30And it's not going to be easy. You're going to have some good days, but you're going to have a lot
00:15:34of days that you're going to have to keep your gun cocked and loaded. There are going to be some
00:15:39days where you're not going to feel like showing up, but you have to because you're on duty.
00:15:44There's going to be some days where they're going to be shooting at you for no apparent reason.
00:15:50But because of your decision, you have to stay in the game. You can't run, you can't turn,
00:15:56and you cannot hide. Thank you, Mario. We don't tell them that part. Oh, they'll find out.
00:16:06You're a horrible person. Oh, they'll find out sooner or later. It's like when an engaged couple
00:16:13are going to get married and all you talk about is all the fun things that you have. You don't talk
00:16:17about the bills. You don't talk about the house. You don't talk about, do you want to have kids?
00:16:22You don't, kids, Lord, help us. You don't want to talk about, you know, the car. You don't talk
00:16:27about who's got a job. You don't talk about, you don't talk about nothing except, oh, it's going to
00:16:32be going to be lovey-dovey all the time, and I'm going to be under you, and you're going to be under
00:16:37me, and we're going to be watching the rain fall under a fireplace all day long, and I'm going to
00:16:43always feel this way about you, my little. And that's what they tell them.
00:16:52They don't tell them things, you know, you'll have it good for a few months if God bless
00:17:00you. You know, if the Lord is with you a few months, you're going to be all right. You
00:17:06know, but then when the first set of bills start rolling in, you know, things start to shake
00:17:12up a little bit, right? Can I get an amen? You know, and then someday one does, and someday
00:17:23the other one don't, and someday nobody won't, and you know, stuff just happens. But you don't
00:17:30tell the newlyweds about that. They'll find out. They'll let them find out. I found out.
00:17:37You evil demon seed. That's horrible. I'm your friend. That's why I didn't tell you. I don't
00:17:46need any more friends like you. I'm good. Right? Not in area one. I'm straight. You know, or
00:17:54telling them, you know, childbirth. Oh, childbirth is easy. Now, I personally never gone through
00:17:58it, but from what I've seen, it didn't look easy to me. And, oh, don't worry about it.
00:18:03You'll forget all about it. And, oh, raising children, oh, they're so cute. You know, tell
00:18:09that first diaper. And then that, you know, the first couple might be eyed, but as they get
00:18:17older, it is not all right. You know, and then go buy a box of that. But anyway, y'all
00:18:22get the point. I mean, because I can go on and I can go on for a minute. I mean, not that
00:18:27kids are wonderful and beautiful and yada, yada, yada. That's great. But all I'm saying
00:18:32is, once you sign on, it's on. Amen. Once you say, I'm in, you're in. And everything you
00:18:45do, you're going to have to fight somewhere. Even if you're not in Christ, you still have
00:18:51a fight. Although it's a losing battle, because if you're not in Christ, you've already lost.
00:18:56Y'all follow what I'm saying? Okay. Okay. I have a scripture up here that's not on your
00:19:05paper. It's not on your paper. And it's in Proverbs 16 and 18. It says, pride goes before
00:19:15destruction and a halty spirit before a fall. I don't know why the Lord wanted me to bring
00:19:21that up, but I'm going to because I have to bring it up. I'm going to read it again. It's
00:19:26in Proverbs 16 and 18. Pride goes before destruction and a halty spirit before a fall. So I looked
00:19:34up halty because I want to know what that meant. Halty means arrogant, conceited, looks down
00:19:42on others as if they are, as you looking down on others as if though, as you're, as if
00:19:51though you're more superior, superior than they are. And so when the word of God comes
00:19:59to you and you rebel against the word of God and you're, you get your, your spirit in you
00:20:06becomes halty. In other words, you reject it. I don't want to hear it. Don't talk to
00:20:12me about that. You ain't the boss of me. You just a halty spirit. Now you're, you're dealing
00:20:17with your arrogance and your conceit and you're putting yourself above other people. Well, that's
00:20:23they got to deal with that's them. I don't have to deal with that. See, now you're, you're
00:20:27falling in line with this and you're, you're setting yourself up for failure. Failure meaning
00:20:33the loss of your soul. I don't know who that applies to. The Bible says the day you hear
00:20:40my voice hard, not your heart. If this word affects you, don't get puffed up because if
00:20:49you have Jock, will you hide? You should sit under one of these fans, girl, because let
00:20:55me see. Oh, he turned them off. You want us to get one on for you? You sure? Okay. So
00:21:00if this word affects you and the Lord is trying to touch you or try to pull at you and trying
00:21:09to help you to understand so that you are not lost, you need to listen to this. Don't
00:21:15let that spirit take over and cause you to lose what God is offering you. Amen. Y'all
00:21:22hear me? Okay. All right. So, uh, I'm going to go back to 14 again. Uh, but small is the
00:21:29gate and narrow and difficult to travel is the path that leads to the way of everlasting
00:21:35life. And there are few who find it. When years ago I was asking the Lord, I said, cause
00:21:42you know, I'm in Christ and I'm, I love everything about God and, and it's tough and it's hard,
00:21:48but it's the best job I ever had. And, and I can't wait to meet him. And so I'm going,
00:21:53I'm thinking at, uh, I'm thinking, um, regarding this from the mindset of where I am. And I said,
00:22:02Lord, I don't understand. What do you mean that not many will find it? I'm like, cause I asked
00:22:10him, I said, who would not want you? I said, I told the Lord, I said, I don't understand if
00:22:17a person is introduced to you, why they would not want you. I said, I don't understand how
00:22:22that works because once you meet him, you're like overwhelmed. Jack, why am I right? You're
00:22:28overwhelmed with God? Cause I met him. And so I don't ever want to lose or leave this right
00:22:36Rose. And so I'm struggling. I wasn't questioning God. I was struggling with God trying to understand
00:22:42how is that possible that so many people will be left? I said, I don't understand this scripture.
00:22:51I said, I don't understand it because it, in my mind, it's not possible to learn and to see God
00:22:57and not fall in love with him. I don't get it.
00:23:01So as time moved on, I began to see stuff and he began to slowly help me to understand at this
00:23:16part of this lesson deals with that because people think that they can mimic you without doing what
00:23:24you do to get where you are, right? They want your car, but they don't want your car notes.
00:23:33They just want the car, right? They want your relationship, but they don't want the work
00:23:39that it takes to maintain and get the relationship. And so they try to look for these easy way out.
00:23:46So they find these churches that don't require much. And they find these groups that don't demand
00:23:53much. And they find these religions that have a very broad ruling on what you can bring on.
00:24:03And so they flow into those because what God is asking for, I mean, what I've been, what I've learned,
00:24:10that's just too much. I don't think it takes all of that. See, look, this pastor said,
00:24:15I don't have to do all of that. Everybody lies, son. Oh, I don't have to have just one woman.
00:24:21Everybody's entitled to one mistake or two or three. Oh, yeah, I know I'm doing something
00:24:27outside the marriage, but God understands. No, I don't read my Bible very much, but I have one
00:24:35somewhere. Oh, no, I, you know, I don't really believe in, you know, giving my whole life to God,
00:24:43but I do have a couple hours through the week I give him. And so they found places that's okay with
00:24:49that. You come to church once a week or once every other week, clock in, enjoy the praise service,
00:24:56throw your money in the offering and go home. You saved. And as long as you do that, you saved.
00:25:04And they're like, yay, I found it. I found God. No, you did. You found a God, but you didn't find the
00:25:14God. Amen. Because our God is not going to allow you to bring all that crap into his kingdom. He's not
00:25:23going to make you, he's not going to allow you to make him look bad. Did you know that? Do you know
00:25:30people look at you to determine what kind of God you serve? They judge our God based on your
00:25:40reality, based on how you live, how you treat other people. That's how they, they, they, they picture God
00:25:47the way you are. Emerson, does that make sense? They're like, oh, well, what kind of God do they
00:25:53have? They curse and they beat their spouse and they, they don't feed their kids. They do this,
00:25:59they do that. What kind of God is that? Do you blame them? Come on, somebody. Do you blame them?
00:26:07No, I should get back to the lesson, shouldn't I? Okay. I'm almost sorry. Okay. See, if Nikki was
00:26:15here, I'd be all right. Okay. So I'm going to let her read the, the, the narratives down there.
00:26:24Turn to page two. We're going to go back and let her read some of that other stuff, but I want to
00:26:29get through the, some of the scriptures. Amen. We still okay with the, uh, with the online stuff.
00:26:36Amen. Good. Tell me our God's not able. Amen. Come on, come on, come on, come on. All right.
00:26:46Okay. Verse number 15, beware of frost, beware of false prophets. Do you know there are false prophets
00:26:53on YouTube and Facebook and rumble and Twitter and X and boo boo and who Jew and you, you, you know,
00:27:01there's, there, there are false prophets on them. Did you know that now? Only false prophets are only
00:27:07in church. What you think you're listening to on the boob tube? Boob mean idiot box. That's what they
00:27:15used to call it. Television. What are you listening to? Oh, they too young. They don't know
00:27:19about that stuff. They don't know. I'm surprised Jack would know what it is. Okay.
00:27:27You have to be careful that you are not tied up with someone preaching something other than what
00:27:35God has already said. That's why the Bible tells you to study, to show thyself approved unto God,
00:27:41not unto man, a workman that need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
00:27:47Your job as a believer is to know the word of God so that you will understand when people are
00:27:53speaking and knowing whether or not they're speaking from the scripture or they're speaking
00:27:58from their wallet, right? You need to understand whether they're talking about what God said or
00:28:05what Bishop Bigfoot said on Facebook. You need to be able to determine because what you believe
00:28:14is going to dictate where you go when you leave. So if you believe in a false prophet and you start
00:28:21following that false prophet, you get to go where they get to go. You get to enjoy their eternity the
00:28:29way they're going to enjoy their eternity. Y'all understand what I'm saying? Okay. It's going to get
00:28:33better in a minute. Just be cool. All right. Verse number 16. I'm going to have Nikki to go back and
00:28:40read some of the other stuff. Verse number 16. By their fruit, you will recognize them. That is by their
00:28:47contrived doctrine and self-focus. Do people pick grape? No. Do people pick grapes from a thorn bush
00:28:59or figs from a thistle? She's definitely going to have to read that.
00:29:05Is that her walk? No. Is she out there? Are they my wife and them? Are they here? Oh, okay. Well,
00:29:12tell her to bring her cell phone in here. I'm struggling up here. I need to talk. I can't read
00:29:16and talk. I can't do but one or the other. I can't do both of them. Hey, man, I'm going to pull around
00:29:21here. Call Jaco up here. All right. I'm like, no, you ain't. Amen. All right. All right. So let's go
00:29:31back to page number one. Okay. So verse number 14. But small is the gate and narrow and difficult
00:29:38to travel is the path that leads the way to everlasting life. And there are few who find it
00:29:45under that. Enter through the narrow gate. This phrase emphasizes the exclusivity.
00:29:54That was right. Yay. All right. It represents, emphasizes that word and difficulty of the path
00:30:04to salvation. So this path, the path to salvation is obviously not for everybody. Meaning it's not
00:30:15everybody's choice. God created the path for anybody that wanted it. But there are some
00:30:25people, well, based on scripture, there are a lot of people that don't want this path. They
00:30:31say it's not for me. Okay. I don't, I don't need that kind of, uh, walk with God. I just need
00:30:40to be close enough so that I can say that I'm saved. I don't need to be all like Emerson knowing
00:30:46the Bible and quoting scripture and ministering to people. That's just too much. Okay. I don't need
00:30:51to be all like Jaco was saying it and hallelujah and administering and teaching Sunday school. I don't
00:30:56need to be all that. I just need to be in a place, you know, where I can just say, amen, hallelujah,
00:31:02and I'm saved. And that's what some people are looking for, but that's not what God's looking for.
00:31:07Y'all follow me? That might be what satisfies people that are not serious about God, but that
00:31:16is not what satisfies God. God is looking for a one-on-one serious relationship. Well, hello,
00:31:24I'm glad you could make it. I didn't mean to disturb you. Good morning, Pastor Drea. God is looking for
00:31:34a one-on-one relationship and he's looking for people looking a little cute self and he's looking
00:31:39for people that are as serious about him as he is about us. Amen. Deacon Raymond, am I right? He's
00:31:48looking for people that are serious, but he's not looking for any one night stands. He's not looking
00:31:52for any, you know, side relationships. He's looking for a serious one-on-one. How many, how many of you
00:31:59are married in here? Just raise your hand if you're married. How many of you all are looking
00:32:03for side relationships? How many of you? And if you are, you better not say nothing until after
00:32:09service so we can pray over you because I got a word for you. Just like you're not looking for
00:32:16something on the side. God's not looking for something on the side either. God wants all of
00:32:20you or none of you. That's what he wants. God is not willing to accept a piece of you. Well,
00:32:28I'm not willing to give God all of that. Well, then come back when you're ready because God's
00:32:32not going to settle for 99 and a half. Amen. Push that up. There we go. God's not going to settle
00:32:38for 99 and a half. All right. We've got through some scriptures and we've had some prayer, but you're
00:32:46going to go back to some other scriptures. Yeah. Hello. Amen. I want you to start at the top.
00:32:56That's right. Okay. Was she new here? Yeah, you were, but it's all good. Okay. Few be there that
00:33:07find it. Warning, beware of the easy and popular way. Amen. That's a lesson I'm always telling the
00:33:16children. Amen. It's a good one. Matthew 7, 13 through 23. Enter through the narrow gate for wide
00:33:26is the gate and broad and easy to travel is the path that leads the way to destruction. And that's
00:33:33the path that people are looking for. They're looking for the easy way out. They're not looking for
00:33:37anything that, that requires them to work. They're looking for something that, that tells them that
00:33:42they don't have to work that hard. They don't have to do that much. And they don't have to come all the
00:33:47time. Just come when you feel like it, you know, when it works for you, you know, and just do whatever
00:33:51you can, you know, a little bit here and a little bit there. And, and, and, and you're, and you're right.
00:33:57And it's okay. But the scriptures don't say that. The scriptures doesn't say that. The Bible says,
00:34:03just do what your hands find to do. He didn't say avoid as much as you can. All right, Nikki,
00:34:08go ahead. And eternal loss. Uh-huh. And there are many who enter through it. And there are many people
00:34:15that are, that will accept the easy way, but the easy way is not God's way because he said it's not
00:34:23easy. He said it's not easy. So if you're looking for the easy way and God has already said, it's not
00:34:29easy, then what, where are you looking for? You're not looking for the way of Christ. If God said,
00:34:36it's not easy. Did he say it's not easy? What do you say? Where's the scripture? Well, we'll get to
00:34:42it. You'll see. If God says it's going to take work and you're looking for something to do as little
00:34:48work as you can, then you're not going in a direction that God is leading. You're taking on a
00:34:53whole different direction. Would everyone agree with that? Amen. All right. All right. Go ahead.
00:34:57Verse 14. But small is the gate and narrow and difficult to travel is the path that leads the
00:35:04way to everlasting life. And there are few who find it. Again, go to page number six and look at John
00:35:11and read what John says. John 10, nine. I am the gate. Stop.
00:35:18He says, he says, enter into the narrow gate. Christ says I'm the gate. Okay. So if you're not
00:35:26following after Christ, then you're on the broad path. If where you are, Christ is not there. You're
00:35:32on the broad path. God, Christ says, I am the gate. The scripture says, enter into the narrow gate. Come
00:35:40to me. You got to get to God through me. I'm the only way to salvation. I'm the only way to
00:35:46eternal life. You have to come through me. If you don't come through me, you're not on the narrow
00:35:51road. You're on the broad road. Okay. I don't have to follow Christ to be saved. Yes, you do.
00:35:59Yes, you do. Well, my, well, my, my, my, my so-and-so told me I didn't. Well, your so-and-so is lying
00:36:04because the script, either somebody lied, either you're so-and-so lying or God's lying.
00:36:11Bloody all lying. Right. My money on is on you being a liar. Right. Because the scriptures
00:36:20cannot lie. All right, Nikki, go ahead. Enter through the narrow gate. This phrase emphasizes
00:36:29the exclusivity and difficulty of the path to salvation. Difficulty. It didn't say anything
00:36:34about fun. Didn't say anything about partying. Didn't say anything about kicking it, taking it
00:36:38easy. Didn't say anything about any of that. It says difficult and narrow gate. In biblical
00:36:45context, gates are often used as metaphors for entry points to cities or places, places of
00:36:53significance. The narrow gate suggests a path that requires intentionality and effort, reflecting
00:37:01the call to live a life as righteous, righteousness and obedience to God's commandment. Wait a
00:37:07minute. So you have to live this life with purpose and intent. You can't just walk this walk haphazardly
00:37:14doing what you want to do. It has to be purposeful with intent. I'm in, I intend to follow God.
00:37:20My purpose is to be what God has called me to be. My plan is to do whatever God's plan is for my life.
00:37:27I'm going to be and do what God has called me to do. That's with purpose. That's intensity. That's
00:37:33purpose. If you're trying to follow God without purpose, you're not really following God.
00:37:40Pastor Ryan, am I right? You have to find good morning, minister Brent. You have to be in this with
00:37:47purpose and intent. You have to purposely decide within yourself that this is what I'm going to do.
00:37:55And I'm going to do it because this is where I might don't have a passion for Christ is you should be
00:38:00asking God, Lord, I need to be passionate for doesn't your spouse or your significant other want your
00:38:08relationship to be a passionate one. Is that what? Two people in here? Does your significant other want to be in a passionate, a passion?
00:38:22What's the word?
00:38:23Maybe you should ask them, do you want to be in a passion?
00:38:26No, I don't want to put anybody on the spot. So I'm going to have them to pick on somebody else.
00:38:30Because if I keep it broad, they'll stay in the house. If I make it too, if I make it too specific, they might
00:38:39have to go to the bathroom. Well, it is narrow, but they may not be there yet.
00:38:46I got it. I got it. I got it. I mean, I can't just yank them in. I got to catch the fish first.
00:38:51Does your spouse, significant other want to be in a passionate relationship or a passion less relationship?
00:39:03Don't answer. You might not even know. Don't answer.
00:39:08God wants to be in a passionate relationship. God wants love letters and sweet nothings whispered in his ear.
00:39:17And he wants to be in a relationship. Right? Why is it so good for you and so wrong for him?
00:39:32Can anybody answer that? Why is it okay for you to want one, but it's just weird when God wants one?
00:39:40Nobody? Nothing, huh? Okay. Amen. Go ahead, Nikki. Where are you anyway? Okay, I got you.
00:39:46This aligns with Jesus' teaching on the cost of discipleship, Luke 14, 25-33, and the need for
00:39:55repentance and faith, Mark 1, 15. The narrow gate can also be seen as a type of Christ who declares
00:40:02himself to be the door, John 10, 9, through which one must enter to find salvation. Wait a minute.
00:40:09So Christ is the gate. Christ is the door. He's telling you, I'm the entrance to eternal life.
00:40:18That's what he's saying. The gate, the door. If you want to get in, there's only one way in,
00:40:24and I'm it. Whether you want to look at me as the gate or look at me as the door, whatever you look at,
00:40:30I'm it. And you have to come through me. Now, these are the rules in order to get through the gate.
00:40:39All right? Heaven does not have open borders. I just want you to know that. Heaven does not have
00:40:48open borders. Any old bum cannot just stroll into heaven. You can't just stroll into heaven because
00:40:55you're in the neighborhood. That's not how that works. You have to be able to enter in
00:41:02through the narrow gate. You have to qualify to get into the gate. You have to qualify to get
00:41:09in the door. Well, how do I qualify? By giving your life over to Christ and being obedient to him.
00:41:19Now, if y'all hot, we can turn some air on because there's too many of y'all waving in here.
00:41:22It's just you. No, it ain't just you. Yes, ma'am.
00:41:28He said any old bum, it's probably easier for a bum. Well, that's true.
00:41:33So for those who think, well, I'm not a bum, it should be easy. No, any old bum might be easier
00:41:38than someone who is of high standards or someone who has a high reputation or wealthy.
00:41:46Right. Your money won't get you in. Your popularity won't get you in.
00:41:50Right. Any old slacker. How's that?
00:41:54Okay. Any old slacker cannot get into heaven. In other words, the young people that don't know what
00:41:59that is because I forget sometimes who I'm dealing with. Slackers are lazy people that don't want to
00:42:06get out of bed, don't want to really do anything, but they're here. I'll do it if I have to. I'll go if I
00:42:13must. I'll do it if I just got her. That's a slacker. Okay. And we got, huh? And we have a lot,
00:42:23there's a lot of them in church. Good morning, family. Good morning. There's a lot of them in
00:42:29church. A lot of them. And those are the people that are not getting in. Because these are not
00:42:36people that are serving God with their whole heart. These are not people that are serving God
00:42:40with passion. These are not people that are, that have made God their purpose. That's not them.
00:42:46Amen. Pastor, am I right? All right, Nikki, go ahead. Did you finish that?
00:42:50I finished that.
00:42:51Oh, okay. Turn it back. When you get a chance, you guys go ahead and read the rest of that.
00:42:55Go ahead to verse number 15. Beware of false prophets.
00:42:59Now, I told you there are false prophets online. So if you go into all these different websites,
00:43:05looking at these influencers, they're called influencers for a reason. Because a lot of them
00:43:10can influence you right out of Christ. A lot of them will influence you to the broad road. A lot of
00:43:17them will influence you away from the kingdom and away from eternal life. So be careful who's
00:43:24influencing you and what influence are you listening to. Because whatever the influence is,
00:43:29if it's not of Christ, beware. Anybody? Y'all all quiet? This is S4C. Y'all ain't supposed to be that
00:43:40quiet? I know you peoples. Wake up. Okay, go ahead, Nikki.
00:43:47Beware of false prophets, teachers, who come to you dressed as sheep, appearing gentle and innocent,
00:43:55but inwardly are ravenous wolves. Read that. Beware of false prophets. This warning from Jesus is a
00:44:03call to vigilance against those who claim divine inspiration, but lead people away from the truth.
00:44:11In the Old Testament, false prophets were a significant issue as seen in Jeremiah 23, 16 and
00:44:18Ezekiel 19, I mean, 13, 9, where God condemns those who speak lies in his name. The term false prophet
00:44:27refers to individuals who distort God's message from personal gain or to deceive others.
00:44:34How many of you have seen that? They have all, well, keep going because that's another 20 minutes.
00:44:40In the New Testament context, this warning is particularly relevant as the early church faced
00:44:47numerous heresies and false teachings as noted in 2 Peter 2, 1 and 1 John 4, 1. The role of a prophet
00:44:56is to convey God's truth and false prophets subvert this sacred duty. Amen. Go ahead, 16.
00:45:04By their truth, you will recognize them. That is by their contrived doctrine and self-focus.
00:45:11Mm-hmm. What kind of focus?
00:45:13Self-focus.
00:45:14So everything is kind of based around them. Everything leads back to them and their,
00:45:19even the doctrine that they teach, it leads back to them and their lifestyle and the way they perceive
00:45:25things to be. Everything circles back to them and, and whoever it is that they're serving.
00:45:31Amen, somebody. Amen. All right, go ahead. Oh, it's nice of you, Pastor Priya.
00:45:38Welcome back home, Pastor. I meant to say. Can I say even self-focus, it may not even
00:45:44always lead back to them, but it will lead back to you, lead you to thinking about yourself and how you
00:45:51can prosper and how you can be wealthy and how you can gain territory. A lot of times it's not just
00:45:58about them leading it back to them. Right. Leading us ourselves into self-righteousness.
00:46:04Amen. Amen. Amen. I agree completely. Do pick up grapes from the bushes or, okay.
00:46:13Where are you? I'm in the second part. Okay.
00:46:16Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? Please read.
00:46:21But their fruit, by their fruit, you will recognize them. This phrase emphasizes the
00:46:28importance of discernment in evaluating the true nature of individuals, particularly spiritual
00:46:34leaders. In biblical context, fruit often symbolizes the visible outcome of one's actions and character.
00:46:43This concept is rooted in the Old Testament, where fruitfulness is associated with righteousness
00:46:50and obedience to God. Psalms 1-3, Jeremiah 17-7-8. Jesus uses this metaphor to teach that genuine
00:46:59faith and character are evidence of one's actions and lifestyle. The imagery of fruit is also connected
00:47:06to the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5-22-23, which includes love, joy, peace, and other virtues.
00:47:17Verse 17. In the same way, every good tree produces good fruit, but a rotten tree produces bad fruit.
00:47:25Amen. Turn the page.
00:47:28It's going to get good in a minute. Welcome, family. It's good to see you.
00:47:32Where's the little baby? I don't see her. Did she come?
00:47:39Give her a hug for me.
00:47:42Verse 18. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit. Neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
00:47:51So every tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down and is thrown into the fire.
00:47:57Yes. Just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, you can identify people by their actions.
00:48:05So if you hear a person lying all the time and you call them a liar and they say,
00:48:16you're judging me. I'm not judging you. I just heard you.
00:48:19You're lying. Right? I'm not judging you if that's the fruit you produce. Right?
00:48:28Come on, y'all. Am I judging you because you decided you don't want to walk with Christ?
00:48:36And so your lifestyle is the lifestyle of a sinner. So I address you as a sinner and you say,
00:48:42I'm judging me. I'm not judging you. Your lifestyle tells me you're a sinner because that's the fruit you bear.
00:48:51Why are you mad at me because you're sinning?
00:48:55You mad at me because I called it out? Or you mad because somebody had enough nerve to say it?
00:49:04Why are you mad? Because it can't be that I'm not telling the truth because you know I am.
00:49:10Right? Your fruit tells your story. It doesn't matter what you say. Your fruit tells your story.
00:49:16I'm a good person, not according to your kids.
00:49:21I'm a great worker, not according to your supervisor.
00:49:25I'm honest, not according to the police report.
00:49:29Right? Your fruit tells the story. You have convinced yourself to think that you're something that you're not.
00:49:36You want, you have told that you have, you, you told the life of so long, you believe it.
00:49:46And so when somebody else brings it up, you're offended.
00:49:49I'm like, why are you offended? You didn't know?
00:49:59I didn't know I was going to have to use it this much today.
00:50:01Is that what they're doing thinking? Okay.
00:50:08So when God reveals to you who you are, you run as far away from God as you can.
00:50:16God's like, I'm trying to help you see who you are so you'll know what I have to do.
00:50:21So you'll know where you need to be delivered.
00:50:27And as soon as God reveals it to you through someone else, through a sermon, through a song, however he does it, you're offended.
00:50:39And now you're mad.
00:50:41And whoever said it, they're your enemy for life.
00:50:44They should be your friend for life. You should be hugging them.
00:50:47Okay. Now I know where I am. I know what I need to work on. Let me get busy.
00:50:53I was finna hit it.
00:50:56It's not a, it's not a, it's not a feel good message. It's a salvation message.
00:51:02Amen. Okay. I got all my amens and one amen over here.
00:51:06Y'all nodding over here and y'all smiling over there. So I, at least I know my audience now.
00:51:11Okay, let's go.
00:51:12I don't even know where you are. Oh, you stopped there.
00:51:20I want you to read that. I need, I need you to read. Yes, go ahead.
00:51:25In the Bible, good fruit refers to the positive outcome and actions that result from a life lived in accordance with God's will.
00:51:35Wait a minute. So good fruit is because of that. You're following God's will that produces good fruit when you're following God's will.
00:51:40Did I just hear that right?
00:51:41Amen.
00:51:42Did y'all say y'all, well, that's good fruit following the will of God, following the word of God.
00:51:47That's what produces good fruit because that's good soil. Those are good seeds.
00:51:51That's good ground. So you can't help but produce good fruit because you're following the word of God.
00:51:56When you're not following the word of God and your life is what it is, that's what makes the bad fruit because your, your fruit is based on you.
00:52:04And we all know you jacked up.
00:52:08Am I right?
00:52:11Girl with the long hair, Abby, I know I'm right.
00:52:15I know I knew her. I just couldn't remember her name.
00:52:17I got issues. Amen. All right. Go ahead, Nikki.
00:52:24Wait till you get up here. You will see what you do.
00:52:27Amen. Go ahead.
00:52:28Including the fruit of the spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
00:52:38Some of y'all can count which one of those that don't apply to you.
00:52:41So now you know what to work on.
00:52:42And outward acts of righteousness like kindness, generosity, and lending others.
00:52:49Or leading others to faith.
00:52:53You okay?
00:52:58It is a metaphor for the visible evidence of a believer's inner spiritual state.
00:53:02Wait a minute. Visible evidence.
00:53:06Visible. There should be some visible evidence that you are walking with Christ.
00:53:13There should be something that other people that don't know you and people that do know you can see.
00:53:20People that don't know you say, wow.
00:53:22And people that do know you're like, whoa.
00:53:24There should be something in you that other people can identify with Christ.
00:53:32How can you call your, you are not my child if there is nothing about you that's about me.
00:53:38Right.
00:53:40You need my nose, my attitude, my flat feet, my rusty skin.
00:53:44You need something about me to make me know that you belong to me.
00:53:49Because if you come to me and you're cream colored, that's a problem.
00:53:58I mean, that's a real problem.
00:54:00So my question is going to be, what's up?
00:54:03Because I know it ain't me.
00:54:07So what's up?
00:54:09Right?
00:54:11Come on now, come on.
00:54:15It was good.
00:54:16It was good.
00:54:16They got the picture.
00:54:19Hey man, did you come to me with really paper thin lips?
00:54:23There's a problem.
00:54:27That's a problem.
00:54:28You need to look like me somewhere.
00:54:33If you don't look like God, stop claiming it.
00:54:37Amen.
00:54:39Bet y'all won't forget that, will you?
00:54:41All right, go ahead.
00:54:43Some of y'all might have to follow me home though.
00:54:49Amen.
00:54:50It is a metaphor for the visible evidence of a believer's inner spiritual state and character,
00:54:56distinguishing them from those who are not truly connected to God.
00:55:01Actions and belief and behavior.
00:55:04It is seen in how a person treats others, their overall attitude, and the positive impact they have on their community.
00:55:13Spiritual growth.
00:55:14It includes developing a spiritual thankfulness and growing in knowledge and wisdom that pleases God.
00:55:22Evangelism.
00:55:24It can also refer to the fruit of souls, meaning leading others to a relationship with God.
00:55:34Your lifestyle somewhere, somewhere in your lifestyle should be able to lead somebody to Christ.
00:55:41Something about you, given enough time, should point somebody in Christ's direction.
00:55:49Whether they go or not, that's on them.
00:55:52But you, something about you should point them in that direction.
00:55:58Amen.
00:55:59If it doesn't, there's a problem with you.
00:56:05Everybody's not lost because that's where they want to be.
00:56:07Some people are looking for light and God sends you to them and your light is on them.
00:56:18Pastor Drea, am I right?
00:56:20Your light needs to stay on.
00:56:25In order for your light to stay on, there needs to be oil in the lamp.
00:56:30Holy Spirit.
00:56:32Amen.
00:56:32And if your, if your lamp is short of oil, you're going to have to pay for those that were looking for you and you couldn't provide.
00:56:43Amen.
00:56:44Because that was part of your calling and you blew it.
00:56:48Amen.
00:56:49I shouldn't have to be on all the time.
00:56:52Yes, you should.
00:56:53If you're a parent, are you always a parent or just a parent Monday through Friday?
00:56:57Always.
00:56:57If you're a spouse, are you a spouse Monday through Saturday or always?
00:57:02You're always what you are.
00:57:06If you have accepted Christ, you should always be in a mind state of I am a member of the body of Christ and I have to make sure that I remind myself of that constantly.
00:57:19Amen.
00:57:20If you're married, you're always married.
00:57:22If you're a parent, you're always a parent.
00:57:24You're always a parent until one of y'all gone.
00:57:27You're always married until you're no longer married.
00:57:30You're all, you're always an employee of that company until either you leave or they help you leave.
00:57:36As long as you are connected, you are always on.
00:57:41Amen.
00:57:43When you want to take a break, you got to start a problem.
00:57:48I'm going to lay my religion on the side and I'm going to take me a little break and I'll be back in a couple of weeks.
00:57:54I don't recommend that if I were you.
00:57:58Let your wife say that and see how you respond.
00:58:02Well, amen.
00:58:04Go ahead, Nikki.
00:58:05Because I had a good one, but I don't know how y'all would take it.
00:58:08So there you go.
00:58:09Verse 21.
00:58:11Not everyone who calls me their Lord will get into the kingdom of heaven.
00:58:17Only the ones who obey my father in heaven will get in.
00:58:21Amen.
00:58:21Read the rest of that when you get a chance.
00:58:23I'm running out of time.
00:58:24Turn the page.
00:58:25Read the rest of that though.
00:58:26When you get a chance, it's good stuff.
00:58:28Verse number 22.
00:58:29Many will say to me on that day when I judge them.
00:58:32Oh, wait, whoa, whoa, whoa.
00:58:34Many will say to me on that day, not if I judge them, but when I judge them.
00:58:40In other words, judgment is sure.
00:58:43The Bible says once appointed unto man to die.
00:58:46And what?
00:58:46After that, the judgment.
00:58:49Everybody is going to be judged.
00:58:51Everybody.
00:58:54Your life will be judged.
00:58:57Everybody.
00:58:58So don't live like you're going to be like you have nothing waiting for you when you get on the other end.
00:59:06Don't don't live like this is it.
00:59:10This is not it.
00:59:13This prepares you for wherever you're going or this is where you prepare for where you want to go.
00:59:19Amen.
00:59:20What did I hear?
00:59:20What did I hear this week?
00:59:22What did I hear this week?
00:59:23That's okay.
00:59:23Go ahead and read.
00:59:24I'll remember it.
00:59:25Where are you?
00:59:27Verse 22.
00:59:27Okay.
00:59:28Many will say to me on that day when I judge them.
00:59:32Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name and driven out demons in your name and done many miracles in your name?
00:59:40Oh, he's going to hear a lot of that.
00:59:42Then I will declare to them publicly.
00:59:44I never knew you.
00:59:48Depart from me.
00:59:50You are banished from my presence.
00:59:53You are wickedly disregarding my command.
00:59:57So while you are living, the will of God wasn't very important.
01:00:02No big deal.
01:00:04I have a choice.
01:00:05Yes, you do.
01:00:07I don't have to.
01:00:08No, you don't.
01:00:09So God is not important to you while you're here.
01:00:12But he's going to be very important to you when you leave.
01:00:16You may not.
01:00:18You may not think so.
01:00:20Now.
01:00:21But there's going to come a day where he's going to be incredibly important.
01:00:27Extremely important.
01:00:29But this is but this is one of the reasons why the enemy has so many diversions.
01:00:34Because if I can keep you diverted, if I can keep your mind occupied with other things, then God will just have to get in where he fit in.
01:00:41And God says, that's not how you treat royalty.
01:00:47But the problem is.
01:00:49People here don't know anything about royalty.
01:00:51They don't know how they don't know how to be in the presence of the king.
01:00:54They don't know how to act in the presence of royalty.
01:00:57They don't know how to respect leadership.
01:01:00They don't know because they think they have rights.
01:01:02The kingdom of God is not a democracy.
01:01:07It is a monarchy.
01:01:10God is king.
01:01:12You don't get to vote.
01:01:15There are no voting booths in heaven.
01:01:18You don't get.
01:01:19There's no opinion boxes in heaven.
01:01:21What are they called?
01:01:22Not opinion boxes.
01:01:23Suggestion boxes in heaven.
01:01:25There's no suggestion boxes.
01:01:26There's no opinion that your opinion is not solicited, nor is it welcome.
01:01:31Because you're mortal, which means you're just that shy of being an idiot.
01:01:36So God don't need your, God does not need your two cents.
01:01:41He's rich.
01:01:42He's got plenty of money.
01:01:44Okay?
01:01:45Your job is not to come and suggest how to enhance the rules.
01:01:51Your job is to follow the rules.
01:01:53Amen.
01:01:54Because you are not, you are not the king.
01:01:58Amen.
01:01:59So everybody come to church and they all got ideas how it should be.
01:02:03Oh, I think the gospel ought to be preached this way.
01:02:05And you ought to do this way.
01:02:06God's like, your name ain't nowhere in this book.
01:02:10I don't remember asking you anything.
01:02:12So what's with all the suggestions?
01:02:15Right?
01:02:17God's like, where were you when I put, talk to Job.
01:02:21God's like, where were you when I put the sun in the sky?
01:02:25It's still there.
01:02:26Where were you when I created water and I created oxygen?
01:02:30Where were you when I created you?
01:02:33If I didn't need your opinion then, I don't need it now.
01:02:37Amen.
01:02:38Amen.
01:02:41I know y'all thinking, I know.
01:02:46Thank you, Pastor.
01:02:47There are no complaints for, if you complain when you get to heaven, you weren't supposed
01:02:50to be there.
01:02:54Y'all mad now, huh?
01:02:55That means I did it right.
01:02:59Y'all thinking, right?
01:03:00Okay.
01:03:01Think on.
01:03:02Go ahead, Nikki.
01:03:03Where you at?
01:03:05Yes, please.
01:03:06I never knew you.
01:03:08The word knew in biblical terms implies.
01:03:12Often.
01:03:13Often implies an intimate relationship.
01:03:16So when he says, I never knew you, it's just like Pastor Sandy's been teaching us for
01:03:20years.
01:03:21I never had an intimate personal relationship with you.
01:03:26You called me Lord, but I didn't know you.
01:03:29Just like me walking down the street and some strange person on the corner, hey, husband.
01:03:34I'm looking around like, what are you talking to?
01:03:36I don't know you.
01:03:38I need a ride down the street.
01:03:40You better call the cab or bus.
01:03:42I can't help you.
01:03:44I don't know you.
01:03:46Why?
01:03:46I ain't got no money for you.
01:03:47No, get away from me.
01:03:49911 on speed dial.
01:03:52You understand?
01:03:52This is what God is saying.
01:03:53God's like, I don't.
01:03:54Lord, I don't know you.
01:03:56And this is when you get before him and he says, I don't know you.
01:04:01What you going to do then?
01:04:04Nothing, huh?
01:04:05Okay.
01:04:06Go ahead.
01:04:09I never knew you.
01:04:12The word knew in biblical terms often implies an intimate relationship, not just intellectual
01:04:19awareness.
01:04:19Jesus is emphasizing, is emphasizing the lack of genuine relationship with those he is
01:04:26addressing.
01:04:27This echoes the conventional language found throughout scripture, where knowing God involves
01:04:33a deep personal connection.
01:04:35You must be connected.
01:04:37I don't care what type of internet computer you have.
01:04:41If it's not connected to the, to the internet, it's a, it's a big old paperweight.
01:04:46Right?
01:04:48If it, if you have a car and it does not have a source of, of power like gasoline or electric
01:04:54or propane, you have a car and it has no source of power.
01:04:58You have a big giant place to sleep when it's raining.
01:05:04That's all you have.
01:05:05You have a $70,000 bed.
01:05:09That's all you got because it has no power.
01:05:12If you call yourself a Christian and you have no power, you're not really a Christian because
01:05:20if you have, if you are really a Christian, you'd have power.
01:05:23Amen.
01:05:24All right, go ahead.
01:05:26It highlights the importance of a true relationship with Christ beyond mere outward appearances
01:05:32or actions.
01:05:33Amen.
01:05:34Acts 19, 11 through 16.
01:05:36Oh, it's going to get good now, y'all.
01:05:38Oh, we finna laugh some.
01:05:40Go ahead.
01:05:40The miracles which God brought by the ministry of Paul being of such an extraordinary nature
01:05:47that by applying the handkerchiefs.
01:05:50Go ahead to verse 12.
01:05:51So that even handkerchiefs or face towels or aprons that had touched his skin were brought
01:05:57to the sick and their disease left them and the evil spirits came out of them.
01:06:02Okay.
01:06:03So now I don't see that like, like it was back then.
01:06:08This is something special that God was doing through Paul, but you got a lot of preachers
01:06:12now, you know, they got a box full of handkerchiefs and snot rags and they throw it up, selling them
01:06:16for $49.95.
01:06:20Here, $39.95.
01:06:22There was one guy selling a little cup of water.
01:06:27He'll send you a little thing of water, holy water for $29.95 or whatever price he was paying.
01:06:33I'm like, water.
01:06:35You can go to the sink and get water.
01:06:38You can pray over your water.
01:06:40Why am I going to pay this cat $30 for that much water?
01:06:44Do you understand?
01:06:44If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything.
01:06:49Amen.
01:06:50Y'all don't remember the guy that was selling the little cups of water?
01:06:53Y'all remember that?
01:06:54Where y'all been?
01:06:55He was a prophet and he had thousands of members selling little cups, probably a teaspoon of water,
01:07:05but it was holy water.
01:07:08Y'all, y'all, don't keep going.
01:07:10Go ahead, Nikki.
01:07:11They didn't, they didn't, they wouldn't with that.
01:07:14Do you mean, I want them to read it.
01:07:18I want you guys to read through the hands of Paul, but later, because I'm running out of time.
01:07:22Go ahead, Nikki, 12, 13, but also some of the Jewish, Jewish exorcists.
01:07:28Here we go.
01:07:30Who went from place to place, attempted to use the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits saying,
01:07:37I order you in the name of Jesus, whom Paul preaches.
01:07:40Wait a minute.
01:07:41I'm ordering you in the name of Jesus, whom Pastor Brent, Pastor Ryan preaches, because I don't have a relationship with him, but Ryan does.
01:07:57And so in the name of the Jesus that Ryan preaches, get out of here.
01:08:04I'm like, that's not just crazy.
01:08:07That's, that's isn't it crazy.
01:08:09That's bold, stupid crazy.
01:08:12I don't know God, but you know God.
01:08:15So in the name of Jesus, who Nikki knows, I'm going to cast you out.
01:08:22So he thinks the spirits are just as stupid as he is.
01:08:26Can I add to that?
01:08:27You can add all kinds of stuff to that.
01:08:29In the name of Jesus, in whom I don't believe.
01:08:33Right, right.
01:08:34Someone else father.
01:08:35Right, right, right, right.
01:08:37I'm going to take their power because they got it.
01:08:41And I'm going to who do you out of there.
01:08:45Okay.
01:08:46With all my non-belief, we're going to who do you out of here.
01:08:50Go on.
01:08:50Just go on.
01:08:51Keep, keep, keep, keep, keep, keep, keep reading.
01:08:56I told you it was about to get good.
01:08:58I told you.
01:08:59Turn the page, turn the page, turn the page.
01:09:08Seven brothers who were the sons of a Jewish high priest named Sceva were doing it.
01:09:16Read the, read the commentary.
01:09:18Seven sons of Sceva.
01:09:19The mention of seven sons indicate a complete or perfect number in biblical terms.
01:09:26Sceva is identified as a Jewish chief priest, though there were no historical records of a chief priest by this name, suggesting that he, suggesting he may have been a self-proclaimed leader or part of a lesser known priestly family.
01:09:50Amen.
01:09:52The sons of the son's actions reflect a common practice in the ancient world where exorcism and magical practices were permanent, especially in Ephesus, a city known for its interest in magic and the occult.
01:10:03Amen.
01:10:04Both versions of 15.
01:10:05And the spirit, and the evil spirit answered them.
01:10:10Don't laugh.
01:10:11And the evil spirit answered and said to them, I recognize Jesus and I know about Paul, but who are you?
01:10:21What's that next version say?
01:10:23But the evil spirit retorted, I know and recognize and acknowledge Jesus and I know about Paul, but as for you, are you?
01:10:36Even a demonic spirit recognizes and acknowledges Jesus.
01:10:42You don't, but that demonic spirit does.
01:10:48He said, I'm sure he was, he was looking at him like he was crazy.
01:10:52I bet he was looking at, like, looking at them like they had two heads each.
01:10:56And he's like, dude, I know about Jesus because that's God.
01:11:02I got that.
01:11:03I ain't messing with him.
01:11:04I know about Paul because he's in connection with God.
01:11:08I ain't messing with him either.
01:11:10I don't know you.
01:11:11From my records, you ain't nobody.
01:11:17Demons talk or they communicate.
01:11:22Did y'all know that?
01:11:24Demons communicate with each other.
01:11:28Y'all follow me?
01:11:29Okay, go ahead, Nikki.
01:11:30Where you at?
01:11:31Verse 16.
01:11:32Okay.
01:11:34Then the man with the evil spirit jumped on them and beat them up.
01:11:39They ran out of the house naked and bruised.
01:11:43You've got people trying to pretend that they know God.
01:11:47And then they're going to show you how to do it.
01:11:55They don't know God, but they can put on a show just as easy, just as good as anybody else.
01:12:01But the problem is you're not putting on a show.
01:12:04You really know God.
01:12:05This cat, these guys didn't know God.
01:12:09They had no relationship with him.
01:12:12And so they're going to try to mimic what those of us that have a relationship with God does.
01:12:18Spirits are demonic.
01:12:20They're not stupid.
01:12:22Amen.
01:12:22The spirit jumped off them.
01:12:26The spirit in that guy attacked them and whooped them all naked and ran them out the house.
01:12:34Embarrassing, humiliating, and I bet they won't try that again.
01:12:39You can't pretend to know God and then try to do godly things.
01:12:46Because there is a cost or a price to be paid for pretending to know God.
01:12:54Three people.
01:12:55Really?
01:12:57There is a price to be paid for people that are trying to pretend that they know God.
01:13:04And then they're going to show you how much they know God.
01:13:08They have perfected their act to the point where they now can take it on the road.
01:13:12And demons are demonic, but they're not stupid.
01:13:19Amen.
01:13:19Amen.
01:13:20What does it say under that?
01:13:22The attack was so violent.
01:13:25The violence of the attack emphasizes the destructive nature of demonic forces.
01:13:32It serves as a reminder of the reality and seriousness of spiritual warfare.
01:13:37See, people don't realize how serious spiritual warfare is.
01:13:40It's a life and death situation.
01:13:44Spiritual warfare is not a game.
01:13:46Spiritual warfare is not religion.
01:13:50I need you all to understand that.
01:13:51Spiritual warfare is not religion.
01:13:56You cannot go into the spirit realm pretending like you know God.
01:14:01Because you ain't going to make it.
01:14:04You ain't going to make it.
01:14:05And God put an example in this book so that you could read about what actually happened.
01:14:10This is not a parable.
01:14:12This happened.
01:14:14You cannot pretend to be a child of God and not expect consequences.
01:14:22Because there are consequences to your lifestyle.
01:14:26If you are a child of God, you need to be a child of God.
01:14:30If you're not, stop pretending.
01:14:33Stop pretending.
01:14:35Because there are consequences to pretending and there are consequences for denying.
01:14:42Y'all understand?
01:14:44If you're going to do this, are you aware that you only get one chance at this?
01:14:50You only get one shot at this.
01:14:52The only chance you get at this is the one you're in right now.
01:14:56This is the only opportunity you're going to get to enter into the kingdom.
01:15:02If you blow this one, you don't get another one.
01:15:07You're not going to be reincarnated as a chicken.
01:15:10You're not coming back as a potato head.
01:15:13You're not coming back as a bowl of fruit.
01:15:15You ain't coming back.
01:15:18Stop thinking, I get another chance.
01:15:20I'm going to come back as an eagle.
01:15:22No, you're not.
01:15:23When you enter into the spirit realm, that's it.
01:15:29You get what you get.
01:15:32But this is where you have a chance to get it right.
01:15:36This is where God has made it so easy for you to repent.
01:15:42He's made it so easy for you to come to him.
01:15:45He made it so available for you to say yes.
01:15:50There is no good reason for anyone not to have said yes to Christ.
01:15:55There's no good reason.
01:15:57There are many reasons, but none of them are good.
01:16:03And none of those, because you don't need a reason not to come to Christ.
01:16:09You just need to come.
01:16:10Stop looking for reasons not to.
01:16:15And look at the opportunities to do.
01:16:19Amen.
01:16:20You think you're going to be 20 forever.
01:16:24I've never met a 50-year-old, 20-year-old.
01:16:29Anybody?
01:16:30Raise your hand.
01:16:31Anybody?
01:16:32Have you ever seen anybody that's going to live forever?
01:16:35I got forever to get this job done.
01:16:38You ever seen anybody 400 years old?
01:16:41Well, that means people don't live forever.
01:16:45And does anyone know the day they're leaving here?
01:16:48Whether it's rapture or whatever.
01:16:52No.
01:16:53So since you don't know when you're leaving,
01:16:56and you don't know the situation surrounding,
01:17:01what's the problem with getting it right while you have the opportunity to get it right?
01:17:09Amen.
01:17:10What excuse are you holding on to that's so good you can't let it go?
01:17:17Is there somebody in your life that's just so sweet you can't let it go?
01:17:22You would give up a relationship with Christ for this person?
01:17:29Does this person have the ability to keep you out of hell?
01:17:31Does this person have the ability to heal you?
01:17:34Does this person have the ability to help you see into the spirit realm?
01:17:38What does this person have that's so good that you can't let go for your eternal salvation?
01:17:45Do you have a job that's so wonderful that you'll put everything on the back burner,
01:17:53including Christ, just to satisfy this job?
01:17:56Do you have some?
01:17:57Is there something special?
01:17:59You're so good looking that you ain't got time for God now
01:18:02because you're all that in the bag of chips?
01:18:04Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, what's the problem?
01:18:07Are you so educated that you don't need God?
01:18:11If you're so smart, create you a bowl of air.
01:18:14How dare you?
01:18:17You're such a genius.
01:18:20Go make you a glass of water, but don't use any of the stuff that God used.
01:18:24Use your own stuff.
01:18:25Create your own stuff.
01:18:26Oh, and don't use the body that God gave you while you did.
01:18:30Create your own body, but not out of anything that God made,
01:18:33and then go ahead and make you some water, and then let me see how that turns out
01:18:36because you're so smart.
01:18:39What is it about you that makes you think you don't need God?
01:18:42God, that's what I'm trying to ask you.
01:18:45What's pressing you to the point where you think you don't need God?
01:18:48Because everyone's going to be judged.
01:18:50Everybody's going to meet God.
01:18:52Everybody has to give an account of it.
01:18:53Well, I don't believe it.
01:18:54That don't change it.
01:18:55I don't think there's any such thing as an IRS.
01:19:00Get a job and don't pay taxes.
01:19:03You'll learn what an IRS means.
01:19:05You'll learn all those letters.
01:19:07You'll be able to spell them in your sleep.
01:19:09They're going to help you understand who they are.
01:19:12Y'all with me?
01:19:13I don't understand.
01:19:15So let's go back to the front page.
01:19:19Go back to the front page.
01:19:21Page one.
01:19:22Flip all the way over to page one.
01:19:25My earlier statement before most of y'all came in,
01:19:29I was confused for a very long time.
01:19:32I'm not anymore.
01:19:33But I was confused for a long time.
01:19:35I didn't understand why people would not want this God that we serve.
01:19:39He's so wonderful.
01:19:40He's so kind.
01:19:41He's so patient.
01:19:42He's so giving.
01:19:43Good morning, Chrissy.
01:19:45He's just so God.
01:19:48Why would anyone that would meet him not want him?
01:19:51Because I was going off.
01:19:53The scripture said that few there be that find it.
01:19:56But this is what he gave me.
01:19:58He said in order to find something, you have to be looking for it.
01:20:02Right?
01:20:03Is that true?
01:20:04I mean, I can stumble upon something.
01:20:06I didn't find it.
01:20:07I just stumbled upon it.
01:20:08But in order to find something, it alludes to the fact that you were looking.
01:20:13I found a job.
01:20:15Why?
01:20:15Because I was looking.
01:20:16I found a car.
01:20:17Why?
01:20:17Because I was looking for a new car.
01:20:20I found a wife.
01:20:21Why?
01:20:21Because I was looking.
01:20:23I found it because I was looking.
01:20:25The reason that they won't find it is because they're not looking for this kind of God.
01:20:30They're looking for a different kind of God.
01:20:33That's why they won't find him.
01:20:35They're not looking for a God that is love, but he has a, what does that say?
01:20:42He's saying he's a good God, but he's a bad dude.
01:20:46They're not looking for a God that will punish them.
01:20:49They're only looking for the God that will give them their best life now.
01:20:54They're not looking for a God that has restrictions on what you can bring on the flight.
01:20:59They're looking for a God that will let them bring everything on the flight.
01:21:02They're looking for a different God.
01:21:04That's why they won't find this one.
01:21:05Because when you introduce this one to them, oh, I'm not looking for them.
01:21:10And so they pass it by.
01:21:12That's why they won't find it, because they're not looking.
01:21:16Even when I present myself to them, I'm not with them.
01:21:22If someone presented themselves to you that you weren't looking for, those that are looking to be married, what would you do?
01:21:29Oh, I'm not interested.
01:21:32And you keep it moving, right?
01:21:34Is that how that works?
01:21:35They're not looking for our God.
01:21:37So they'll pass over our God, because this is not the God they want today.
01:21:44But it'll be the God that they want tomorrow.
01:21:47Amen.
01:21:48Did you enjoy the lesson?
01:21:50It was good, right?
01:21:53Good stuff.
01:21:54Amen.
01:21:55All right.
01:21:57Woo, child.
01:21:58Let's call some pastors up here and some ministers.
01:22:02And let's come on up, y'all.
01:22:03We had some trouble early on, but the Lord fixed that.
01:22:06We prayed over the Internet and asked the Lord to fix that, and he did.
01:22:12We haven't had a single ounce of trouble since.
01:22:15And Sensational and Zoe, they didn't make it today.
01:22:18Did anybody hear from them?
01:22:20Zoe and Sensational?
01:22:21Okay, somebody reach out to them, make sure that they're okay.
01:22:25Because that's not like them not to be here and not let somebody know.
01:22:30Yeah, they always let someone know.
01:22:32And so when you can, somebody reach out to them and find out, make sure they're okay.
01:22:38Who we got on that prayer, honey?
01:22:40Pastor.
01:22:44I enjoyed the lesson this morning.
01:22:49I didn't make me mad.
01:22:50I was okay.
01:22:57Amen.
01:22:57This morning, we are praying for Debbie, who is experiencing back pain.
01:23:03Jose is asking for a prayer for his mother.
01:23:06Stephanie is asking for a prayer for the salvation of Faith and Danny.
01:23:10And Mother Sharon, Minister Sharon, has asked me for a prayer for her niece, Skye.
01:23:15She's 15 years old, and she got shot in the shoulder.
01:23:19Oh, at 15?
01:23:20She's currently going into surgery.
01:23:21Oh, my goodness.
01:23:22Amen.
01:23:24And ETX Ministries and all of you that are online, thank you so much.
01:23:30Beans, Biscuit Beans and Beyond.
01:23:34Amen.

01:23:40Amen.

01:23:43Amen.

01:23:49Okay.
01:23:50Okay, so I want to pray for those that are, oh, here we go.
01:23:53Just run through the names of those that are in the chat room.
01:23:58Amen.
01:23:58I love our church.
01:23:59I love the people that are online, the people that are here.
01:24:03I just, I love God's people.
01:24:05Okay.

01:24:07Please forgive me if I missed your name.

01:24:41That's a beautiful thing.
01:24:42The AST Street Ministry.
01:24:43Amen.
01:24:44Sensational.
01:24:46She's listening.
01:24:47Okay, good, good, good.
01:24:48Pedro.
01:24:49Minister Q.
01:24:51And Sister Vicki Q.

01:25:12Spirit of Truth.
01:25:14Mm-hmm.
01:25:15Angel.
01:25:18The other Ryan.
01:25:21I think I covered everyone.
01:25:24Amen.
01:25:26If you get an opportunity, please, please read the entire message through because we skipped
01:25:34a lot for the sake of time, but all of it is wonderful, God-given information that I
01:25:40believe will bless.
01:25:41Did you enjoy the message?
01:25:43You did?
01:25:44Oh, that's good.
01:25:45Amen.
01:25:45It's wonderful information.
01:25:47It really is.
01:25:47It really is.
01:25:48And if you read it, I believe it will bless you.
01:25:53Father God, and can I ask everyone to stand, please?
01:25:55Father God, in the name of Jesus, as we pray for Debbie Copeland and for Jose and for Stephanie
01:26:02and for Skye 15, she is shot.
01:26:07Father, we pray that you would watch over Skye.
01:26:10We pray that you watch over all of them, but we pray now over Skye that you would watch over,
01:26:17that's a girl, that you would give her grace, favor, and mercy, that you would speak to her
01:26:26and her situation, that you would bring healing and deliverance, that you would draw her closer
01:26:33unto you, that you would give her favor, that you would watch over those that are taking care of her
01:26:40and those that are helping to bring about healing for her.
01:26:44We pray over Stephanie for the salvation of their family.
01:26:51Faith and Danny.
01:26:52Faith and faith.
01:26:54Those that we pray for are Faith and Danny.
01:26:57And we're praying over Jose.
01:26:59Jose's mother, Maria.
01:27:01Jose's mother, Maria.
01:27:03Whatever the situations are, Lord, you are able to deal.
01:27:06You are able to heal and deliver.
01:27:08You know what it is.
01:27:11And we're asking for your perfect healing.
01:27:12And for Debbie Copeland, Father, the weather, age, job, situations, whatever it is that's bringing about the back pain,
01:27:25that you would bring about healing and deliverance for your children.
01:27:29We bless you, Father, over these pastors, ministers, believers, soldiers, warriors of Jesus Christ.
01:27:38We thank you for the lessons that have gone forth, this lesson, the early morning lesson, and the lesson that's to come, and lessons that are going on throughout the world through your people.
01:27:51We pray healing and deliverance.
01:27:53We pray victory over all.
01:27:55And, Father, we are asking and looking for a miracle.
01:28:00In Jesus' name, amen.
01:28:03Amen.
01:28:03Pastor Sandy should be in in a little bit.
01:28:05Give us about 20 or so minutes, and we'll be back.
01:28:08God bless everyone in the name of Jesus.
01:28:11Amen.
01:28:12And I don't know where Miss Abby is, but it's all good.
01:28:16Amen.
01:28:16I'm going to stop this one by quick.
01:28:18Amen.
