00:00Our story takes us to Orlando where the Clippers play their fourth straight game on the road.
00:26James Harden, the Clippers have shown flashes but yet to put it all together for 48 minutes and only two tonight as they take on the Orlando Magic.
00:34Desmond Bain and the Magic endured a slow start but have come into their own winners of seven of their last ten.
00:40They're young, they're scrappy, it will be a problem for the Clippers here tonight.
00:45Fourth game out of seven on the road for the Clippers.
00:47Welcome inside Kia Center alongside Jim Jackson.
00:49I'm Brian Seaman.
00:49Good to have you with us.
00:50Lauren Rosen joins us in just a moment.
00:52Well, with all the injuries the Clippers have faced over the last couple of weeks, the most experienced team in the NBA, of course, goes to a rookie to kind of fill in the void.
01:01And Kobe Sanders did a great job, I thought, his first career start.
01:05Poised.
01:06He has presence.
01:07He's not trying to do too much.
01:09I mean, a lot of times you see a rookie come in excited, wanting to prove themselves.
01:13They be playing outside of the game.
01:15That's not the case for Kobe Sanders.
01:16He fills spots that's needed, he takes shots that's warranted, and then he makes plays when necessary.
01:24And I think that shows a lot of maturity for a young man that's really just getting his start in the league.
01:31But it shows a lot about the confidence the coaching staff has in him.
01:34For a little while, Orlando was in rebuild mode, but I think they believe this is win-now mode.
01:39They finally have got their core four.
01:41The latest addition, Desmond Bain, he wasn't cheap, but he's really paid big dividends of late.
01:45You know, I know the season started a little bit where he didn't find a shot early, but it takes a little time.
01:51He's five years in Memphis.
01:52He knew where he was getting the ball, how he was getting the ball, and who he was getting it from.
01:56The last five out of seven games, he's been 20-plus points.
01:59I think he's starting to figure out.
02:00But also, Desmond Bain can impact the game on the defensive end, also making plays for his teammates.
02:05So he's finally turning the corner.
02:07I think this may have been the shot that kind of put everything over the top for him and his teammates.
02:12We wish him the best after tonight, okay?
02:15One of those teammates is one of the best in the league, and it's Franz Wagner.
02:18I love Franz Wagner.
02:19I mean, even though he went to Michigan, I'll give him that part of it.
02:21But his game continues to elevate.
02:23It is not just a skill perspective.
02:25It's talking to people here in the Magic.
02:27It's all about what's between his ears.
02:28The confidence that he plays with is the reason why he's been able to really elevate his game.
02:35Still, not the three-point shooter that he needs to be, but with his work ethic, he's going to be a superb shooter from that area.
02:41A bit of a rarity in the NBA schedule.
02:43Clippers had a couple of days off.
02:44A chance to catch their breath.
02:46We'll talk with Ty Lue on the other side, and he'll tell us what exactly that means for this Clippers squad.
02:50Ticket marketplace of the Los Angeles Clippers and the NBA.
03:03Ticketmaster gets you to the game live.
03:05And by Gray Goose, official partners of the Clippers make time wait.
03:13Somewhat of a schedule oddity for the Clippers.
03:16Two days off in between games, and for Ty Lue, couldn't come at a better time.
03:25First day, just having a completely full day off.
03:28Some guys have been playing, even being banged up a little bit, so it was good.
03:31And then yesterday, just working on some things that we need to get better at.
03:34You know, some things the team was trying to do to us every night that we haven't really done a great job of executing at offensively.
03:40So, just getting better at those things.
03:42I thought yesterday was a really good practice, a step in the right direction.
03:46So, we just got to continue to keep building from there.
03:50Well, they are rested, and they are ready, and they will need to be as they take on an Orlando team that is as hot as anybody in the league.
03:57It's Clippers magic coming up next.
03:59The first looking for their second win.
04:01First game came on the first game of this trip.
04:03Double overtime in Dallas.
04:04Losses in Boston and Philadelphia to follow.
04:07Time now for stats brought to you by Ticketmaster.
04:09You could feel good about this game, although we have great respect for Orlando.
04:13Clippers have played very well against the Magic over the years.
04:16You can see their record 20-23 in their last 23 meetings, including 12-2 here in Orlando.
04:23Although the offense hasn't necessarily been pretty, as you can see by the points scored.
04:29I think Orlando has a bigger emphasis on their offense, but it comes through way of their defense.
04:35Jim and I will talk about that as the game goes on.
04:38But a big win, big opportunity here for the Clippers.
04:41Third game, or this will be the first of three in four nights with another back-to-back on Sunday and Monday.
04:48As you take a look at the starting five for the Clippers.
04:51Yeah, Kobe Sanders is still out there.
04:53Very confident start, I would say, against the Sixers the other night.
04:58I thought at the beginning of the game it was energy.
05:00And that's James Harden, who's standing right in front of us right now, set the tone early by his aggressive nature on the ball, even on the defensive end.
05:09That tone has to be set because this young Orlando Magic team is starting to find their groove, especially offensively with Desmond Bain.
05:18They want to get out and run.
05:19Two things important, transition defense, sizing up the paint, and this Orlando team loves to get to the free throw line.
05:26Let's send it over to Lauren.
05:27Hey, everybody.
05:28So Kawhi Leonard update.
05:30Kawhi has been sidelined since November 3rd, but he is here in Orlando and has been traveling from city to city with his teammates throughout their longest road trip of the season.
05:40Kawhi remains out tonight due to a right ankle sprain, and the official update is as follows.
05:44Kawhi is doing on-court workouts.
05:47He's ramping up.
05:47We don't know yet if he'll play on this trip, but he is getting closer.
05:52And as you guys mentioned, the team got a well-earned rest day Tuesday and a practice day yesterday, and Kawhi was on the floor with his teammates yesterday.
05:59He's been working out after they have their workouts.
06:02He's been working out before the games at times.
06:04This is Teron Liu, former magician in his own right here, played for the Orlando Magic back in the day.
06:12It beats the Zubats and his squad getting ready to get a win here tonight.
06:17It won't be easy, but it would put the road trip at 2-2.
06:19And then you play Saturday afternoon in Charlotte, and then on Sunday in Cleveland a year ago.
06:26Very defensive-minded teams.
06:28Clippers trying to get back to that.
06:29Orlando is as well.
06:31After a slow start on that side of the ball, they have begun to kind of find it.
06:35You mentioned it, they're playing at a higher pace.
06:37They kind of forgot a little bit about that defense.
06:39They haven't lately, 7-3 in their last 10.
06:42Well, in their first, early in the season, they were allowed like 117 points per possession.
06:46But within the last five or six games, or this month, that number has gotten down to 109.6.
06:54So that's back to where they were last year defensively when you have some new faces.
06:59Paolo's out.
06:59You got Tristan Da Silva in the lineup.
07:02That changes things.
07:03And so anytime you have some movement within the roster, especially the starting lineup,
07:08offense and defense are going to struggle probably at the beginning, but they're starting to find their way.
07:12Now, Boncaro is out.
07:14They expect him to miss at least another week.
07:16That said, they're 4-1 in their last five with Tristan Da Silva getting the last three starts.
07:22He's been terrific.
07:23We'll talk about him as this game goes on.
07:25Magic with the tap.
07:26They'll happen to start the fourth quarter as well.
07:28Wendell Carter Jr. gets it.
07:29He's played very well this year.
07:31Hasn't always been available.
07:32But, boy, he has been very good this season.
07:35As Da Silva, the runner, off line.
07:37Carter taps it out of bounds.
07:38They say last touch by.
07:41The Clippers, it'll stay with Orlando.
07:44Well, you talk about Wendell Carter and his improvement.
07:46Well, how about this 44% shooting from behind the three-point line?
07:49So, now, adding that component to his game adds more spacing.
07:54And there he is on point right there.
07:56He missed it.
07:57But it provides more spacing for the perimeter players for the Magic.
08:01Orlando coming off a 121-113 win over Golden State, a game in which they only made eight threes.
08:07They're finding offense through other ways.
08:09But getting to the free-throw line, as Jim pointed out, he is a major source of their production.
08:13As Chris Dunn lays it up and in.
08:17Well, a major source of production.
08:19If Chris gets going and can be aggressive offensively, it adds a different component to this Clippers offense.
08:25Franz Wagner sidesteps the defensive.
08:30Dunn floats it up, but not in.
08:31Dunn the rebound.
08:32Here come the Clippers.
08:33And that's the presence of having Zoo inside.
08:35And Kobe in transition.
08:38Not able to knock that one in.
08:40But good defense rim protection by Zouaj on that last defensive possession.
08:45Orlando 0 for 3 to start.
08:47Bain turns the corner.
08:48Nice pass inside to Carter Jr.
08:50In the corner to De Silva for the three.
08:52He's hit 10 threes in his last three games.
08:55He's got his fires.
08:56Clippers looking to push.
09:00Harden picked up by Carter.
09:02Into the paint.
09:03Finds Sanders on the wing for three.
09:05Shot is short.
09:06Rebound tapped around.
09:07It goes to Suggs.
09:10Jalen Suggs has been a real spark plug for this team.
09:13We'll talk about him as the game goes on.
09:15De Silva lays it in.
09:17Talking to some people here in Orlando, when De Silva was a rookie last year because he was a four-year player at Colorado,
09:23Frank Faulkner said he felt like he was a mature veteran in the league.
09:29And you can't overstate how important that is, is bringing a guy with that kind of experience
09:34and how that's playing, paying huge dividends right now for the Magic.
09:38His three-point shot has really elevated this offense for Orlando.
09:43De Silva, walled off by Zoot, puts it up for 15, gets his own rebound.
09:46Another jumper.
09:48Both of them short rebound pokes skyward repeatedly.
09:50Vaulkner.
09:50Carter steps into the midrange, off the window, and in averaging 12 points a game this year so far.
10:01Not going to have to play in this first quarter.
10:03Two offensive rebounds usually equates to that offensive team scoring a basket.
10:09I like this going down to Zoot and in the paint.
10:12Eight shots already for Orlando.
10:14Zoot, an awkward hook shot moving away from the bucket.
10:16Vaulkner, the rebound, a multitasking point guard.
10:20Broke his nose a couple of weeks ago.
10:22Side-stepping defenders again and lays it in for his first bucket tonight.
10:26Beautiful move, and that's what he can do at 6'8", 6'9", 6'10".
10:30Whatever it may be for Franz Vaulkner.
10:33At 6'10", his ability to put it on the deck and get two feet in the paint.
10:39It's in transition.
10:41Now, he loves to get to the middle of the court,
10:42and right now Chris Dunn, who's an excellent defensive player,
10:45he kind of read where Chris was going to reach at.
10:48He was able to pivot, use that size, your old step in there.
10:53Harden.
10:56Probing the defense, picked up by Suggs.
10:58Turns and fires a 10-footer.
11:00Whistle foul, free throws coming.
11:02For James Harden, let me ask you this about Jalen Suggs.
11:04A great defender, very competitive player.
11:05In a half-court set, how much can he bother the brawn and strength of a James Harden?
11:10And that's a great question to have, Cork,
11:12because James will be able to kind of overpower him to get to his spot.
11:17I think that Suggs can get under James because of his quickness.
11:21I think the ability for James to catch it on the move against Jalen Suggs
11:25now puts Suggs at a disadvantage.
11:27We saw that on that last play when James got fired.
11:30A rare miss for Harden at the free throw line.
11:32We'll get to work from Jack of the Box.
11:33James, the best-rated burger and fast food with more beef than a Big Mac.
11:38Keep up, Ronald.
11:39Welcome to Jack of the Box.
11:42James, 41 of his last 45 from the free throw line coming in here.
11:47Tonight, he has been, once again, he's been Atlas for the Clippers.
11:50We saw it last year, opening up the year,
11:53shorthanded with a team that was kind of a little engine that could.
11:58James just put him on his back all year long.
12:00He's trying to do the same thing here in this young season,
12:03but the injuries keep getting worse for the Clippers.
12:07And he's keeping them competitive certainly over the last 10 days.
12:09Payne.
12:13The give is to Suggs.
12:18Back pedal three.
12:19It falls.
12:20Suggs not known as a great shooter, just as a great ball player.
12:24Knocks down the three right there.
12:26And now Orlando has jumped out in front nine to three.
12:29Suggs averaging 12 on the year, just 34% from above the arc.
12:33This is Harden for three.
12:34And Bain the rebound for Orlando.
12:38Five years in Memphis for Bain.
12:42Has a great defensive play there by Dunn,
12:44coming over the top for the deflection.
12:46Zou had Bain on his back pocket,
12:55sends it topside to Dunn, drives into the paint.
12:57Clever pass inside to Collins, who hangs and hits.
12:59And because Dunn was aggressive
13:01and didn't just settle to swing the ball he attacked,
13:05the paint had forced the Magic to help
13:07and eventually get that ball down low to Collins.
13:10Tend to shoot for Orlando.
13:18Another back pedal three.
13:20And Harden the running rebound.
13:23Orlando four of 11.
13:24Clippers two for seven.
13:26Dubas against Suggs gets the bucket.
13:28Lays it in nicely.
13:30Nice transition offense there for the Clippers.
13:32The first three of eight to open up.
13:37Bain pulls up in the midrange.
13:40Offline.
13:42Bain, you mentioned it.
13:43There was a buzzer beater.
13:44Everybody said this could really turn our season around.
13:47They're 4-1 since then.
13:48Barton from the wing to the wing.
13:50Crashing into the defenders.
13:51Rebound pinballed around.
13:52Goes over to Wagner.
13:55Suggs.
13:56The runner off the window is good for Jalen Suggs.
13:59He's got five of the 11 for Orlando.
14:02Once again, those live ball turnovers.
14:04Defense is going to be compromised in the front court.
14:09So limit those things.
14:12If not, this Orlando team, as you see, will make you play.
14:15James, good look off that screen.
14:16Just not able to knock it in.
14:18Harden had 17 in the first quarter against Philadelphia.
14:21On the tail end of a back-to-back after Boston.
14:24Whistle and a foul.
14:25It goes against the Clippers.
14:276-33 to play in this first quarter.
14:28The importance of Chris Dunn.
14:30Watch him come and help right here.
14:31Get over the top.
14:33Create the steal.
14:36Said, I'm not done.
14:37Penetrate.
14:38Pitch.
14:39Score.
14:40Inside.
14:40More of that from Chris Dunn.
14:42That it is James Harden versus James Harden.
14:46His last, like, really big year with Houston and Brooklyn.
14:50And I'll be honest, the minutes at 36.2 this year shocks me how low it is, given that he played 41 of, or what was it, 51 of 58 minutes just a couple of games back.
15:03He just continues to impress.
15:04The challenge with that, you pointed out the minutes before, all minutes are not equal.
15:10James' 36 are usually a hard 36 because of how teams play him defensively, but how much he has to work sometimes offensively.
15:20So he doesn't get a break, and they're trying to isolate him defensively when he's on the defensive end.
15:26So those are hard 36 minutes, man, that he's playing.
15:30But he wouldn't want it any other way, Brian, to be honest with you.
15:34Subs, drives, and dishes.
15:36Good ball movement.
15:37Now Anthony Black is out there.
15:38Many consider him the X-Factor and the ceiling raiser for this Orlando team.
15:42Wagner misses on the three.
15:44Orlando out in front by four.
15:45They're 5 of 14 from the floor.
15:47Clippers three for nine.
15:51Dunn on to Silva.
15:53Dunn's been looking for his shot here.
15:54How about a little off the dribble swivel and lay it in for Chris Dunn?
15:58I like that, isolated in the middle of the floor.
16:01He had a one-on-one opportunity against the Silva, who he got some size on him, but he created the space.
16:07Nice little floater in the lane.
16:09I like the love of Chris Dunn's aggressive.
16:11Another three for Suggs, and it falls.
16:14He's shooting about four, not only five three-pointers a game.
16:18He said that 35%, 34%, but, you know, he looks more confident in shooting that shot this year.
16:27Suggs reaches in as Zou was trying to field the pass and gather.
16:32I wish he would keep the ball with the Clippers.
16:34Oh, here's a good push off.
16:36Cross, spin, create the space, and now finish.
16:40And see that?
16:41By allowing Chris Dunn, Chris Dunn, when you do that, you take, you give James a chance to rest a little bit on offense.
16:47You've got to find those pockets for James Harden throughout the course of the game, so he can just do that.
16:56This kid, you get in the corner, you square your guy up, and I'm going to pull right over the top of you.
17:0128 for Harden, and that loss to the Philadelphia 76ers.
17:06Suggs another three.
17:07This one brings the rim, and Collins has the rebound.
17:09But there's down two.
17:17Harden on De Silva from the wing to the lane, a whistle and a foul, and two more free throws coming for James.
17:27You've got to respect James off the dribble.
17:30So Suggs right now, it's like, okay, here's the thing.
17:32I can't give up the dribble, but I know James is so adept at the pump fake or creating a foul on the shot that I can't get too close.
17:41So you keep a defender at bay, which creates the space for James to pull up for that shot.
17:46Two missed free throws in this first quarter.
17:48An absolute rarity for Harden.
17:50We get a quick word from Keough.
17:51One.
18:02Lopez will check in.
18:05So the question is, did Brooke go to Disney the other day?
18:09I got to believe he will.
18:10I can answer your question, and it is yes, because he lives on the Disney property.
18:17We'll hear more about that from Lauren Rose, and it's a report you don't want to miss.
18:20It's a good one.
18:20He and his brother, right?
18:21Yeah.
18:22Robin.
18:23Inside of five minutes to play in this first quarter, they don't live together.
18:26I think they have separate props.
18:27Right, but they're there, like, within the same neighborhood and everything like that.
18:31Probably.
18:32Yeah.
18:32Although, Disney World is a lot bigger than I thought it was.
18:35Suggs lobster to go to Matassi for the flush.
18:38If you don't know, Disney World is the size of literally San Francisco.
18:43That's a true story.
18:44The city of San Francisco could still transition.
18:46Suggs delays the layup.
18:52So it is now 18-13 in favor of Orlando.
18:56A couple of live ball turnovers, and the Clippers have found them to be very pricey.
19:00And scored on both of those live ball turnovers.
19:04Again, it gets a team on the road.
19:07Don't want to give them other opportunities.
19:09Collins misses on the three.
19:11Good run out there by De Silva to alter the shot.
19:14Black the other way.
19:18Great help defense from Collins.
19:20The deflection.
19:21Here come the Clippers the other way.
19:22They don't have numbers.
19:24But Chris Dunn says, don't mind if I do the three off line.
19:29Wagner, this is the pace Orlando certainly wants to play at.
19:34Another three for Suggs.
19:37But that's what you want to shoot at.
19:38I know he made a couple early.
19:40No, this is not a great three-point shooting team in Orlando.
19:43The 25th in the league at 33%.
19:46They take just the 26th most in the league.
19:53Runner by Lopez not there.
19:54But already Orlando with nine threes put up on 20 total shots.
20:01Wagner creates the contact but can't get the shot to fall.
20:07He wants a whistle.
20:08Harden says, I'm going the other way.
20:12Collins filling the lane and flushing it in.
20:14Timeout Orlando, 3-0-2 to play here in the first quarter.
20:17Clippers find themselves down by three.
20:19Yeah, and with the Clippers take care of the ball,
20:20they get the stops.
20:21Now they're able to get out and run.
20:23You put too much pressure on the defense.
20:26We may not be a running team, but when we do, we're very effective.
20:29Clips, down three.
20:31Welcome back to Clippers' first half action here in Orlando,
20:35a very special city for Robin Lopez and his family.
20:38And he's put down roots here in about the most magical way possible.
20:43Brooke and his brother Robin are long-time Disney enthusiasts.
20:47And Brooke now owns property on the Disney campus.
20:51And get this, guys.
20:52He met his wife, Haley, at Animal Kingdom at Disney World,
20:56the off-season after his rookie year.
20:59He would go on to propose to Haley at Animal Kingdom as well.
21:03And then just a couple days ago,
21:04they were able to return as a family with their young son, Julian,
21:07to take in the magic together.
21:09A very special place, Disney, a special thing for Brooke Lopez.
21:14His favorite movie, by the way,
21:15or he says his favorite thing about Disney,
21:17is Tron and the idea of only solutions.
21:21It's a journey song.
21:22This is a deep cut.
21:23But, Brian Seaman, I know you know a thing or two about this.
21:25It was in the movie Tron as a three falls for Jonathan Isaac.
21:31I thought they might name their child Kevin Flynn,
21:35which is the Jeff Bridges character nevertheless.
21:38Orlando taking a lot of threes here.
21:39Not something they do.
21:41And they're out in front by six.
21:43I'm not sure that's not the Clippers wanting them to do that.
21:45They're not an efficient three-point shooting team.
21:47But, Scottie reported, you say,
21:49okay, let's take away the drive.
21:50Let's take away their size getting into the lane and shooting shots.
21:54Let's do short closeouts,
21:56force them to have to beat us over the top.
21:58If they do, we make an adjustment.
22:00I still think it's a little too early
22:01to overemphasize a three-point shot.
22:04But I think you've got to get a little bit closer to the shooters
22:08and not allow that freedom of space.
22:12Jet Howard has checked in.
22:13There's a three.
22:14It goes by Harden.
22:15And it cuts the Clippers' deficit down to three, 21-18.
22:24Howard.
22:26Son of Juwan Howard.
22:29We've had some NBA connections here.
22:31They still do.
22:32We'll talk about it in just a second.
22:33Carter.
22:34Oh, what a denial by college.
22:36But Jonathan Isaac, right place in the right time.
22:41Outstanding rotation over by college.
22:44And Chris Dunn couldn't get over quick enough
22:46to keep Isaac off the offensive glass.
22:50145 to play.
22:51Rapidly moving first quarter.
22:53Harden hit as he hoists it up.
22:54He'll go to the line for three.
22:56See, that's why when you're playing against James Harden,
23:00let's go back here to this play first of all.
23:02Kyle is not afraid of what may happen if he misses that.
23:06But Isaac does a good job.
23:07But James Harden, here's the thing.
23:09You've got to keep in mind, he's a lefty.
23:12So you end up contested on the left-hand side of his body.
23:16A lot of times you get contact.
23:17That's why guys kind of try to play back a little bit off of James,
23:21knowing that if he puts it up, it could be a foul.
23:24And that's how he creates that space so well.
23:27Harden gets the first as Chris Paul will check in to close out this first quarter.
23:30The NBA Connections had Cole Anthony last year, Greg Anthony's son.
23:35You have Jed Howard.
23:36You've got the Wagner brothers.
23:37How about Jace Richardson?
23:39Father Jason Richardson.
23:41I think I probably know him best from the We Believe.
23:45Oh, yeah, Golden State Warrior team.
23:462007.
23:48High Flyer.
23:49Michigan State alum title winner.
23:52I got a chance to cover Jace, Jet, both Wagner's,
23:58Jamal Cain, all in college.
24:01So, again, making me feel older as the days go by.
24:05But it's great to see them all kind of being able to find their own path.
24:12But especially, you know, following the footsteps of a pops that play is tough.
24:16And there's Big Brother Mo right there.
24:18The more vocal one loves to get his opponents riled up, too.
24:23He does.
24:24I'm telling you, in the most complimentary way, he will get under your skin.
24:27He is an instigator.
24:29As Bain handles, 128 to play in this first quarter.
24:34Carter in the middle of the floor.
24:35Gets it back outside to Howard for the three.
24:37It is good.
24:38Ninth three for Howard.
24:39He's made 11 shots this year.
24:41Nine of them are threes.
24:43It's 26 to 21.
24:44Orlando.
24:46Lopez flashing the leather, creating the space and time.
24:49And the three is good for the Orlando resident.
24:53And he brings the Clippers to within two.
24:55They've got to respect Lopez behind the three-point lining.
25:00With Dale Carter with the long closeout, looking for that pump fake.
25:03Bain on the move.
25:07Lopez all the way out to half court.
25:09And then had to get a little too handsy as Bain changed directions.
25:15And put Lopez to look on his face.
25:16It's like, are you kidding me?
25:20Look right here, right there.
25:21He got him on the inside.
25:23But he can do this.
25:25You know how to say to guys like that?
25:28Pump fake.
25:29Stay down in the air force.
25:30Don't want you.
25:32Paratrooper.
25:35Carter into Isaac.
25:37And boy, Isaac's seven quick points off the bench.
25:39Hasn't made much of an impact this year for Orlando.
25:42Averaging just two.
25:43But he's been valuable here on this first quarter.
25:45Yeah, but that time, couldn't switch to a zone.
25:47You can't allow the ball just to be passed that easily.
25:51Because there's going to be gaps, you know, in the defense.
25:54And Orlando found it.
25:56There's Paul James Hart on the floor together here.
25:58I thought Paul would come in to spell relief for Hart instead.
26:01Isaac again with a big follow.
26:04How about nine first quarter points for Jonathan Isaac?
26:07Good to see him healthy.
26:09He's been an Orlando Magic organization and fan.
26:14He's missed over 50% of the games since being drafted in 2017.
26:20Never been a question from a skill perspective with him.
26:24Harden for three.
26:27And with time, Isaac gives it over to Black for the three.
26:31Not there.
26:32So at the end of one, Orlando out in front 30-24.
26:37Isaac Lippers once again led by Atlas himself.
26:40James Hart, he's got 11.
26:42We move to the second frame after this.
26:44Jamal Mosley has done a wonderful job on the sideline for Orlando.
26:55But the issue has been their offense.
26:58You can see it there.
26:58We touched on this in the pregame show.
27:00They have not had a top-20 offense since Dwight Howard was here in that lockout year of 2011-2012.
27:07I'm not a gambling man by nature, but I would say this is the year they break that slump.
27:11I think this is a team that is on the rise on both sides of the ball.
27:14And I think they can win a playoff series, maybe two.
27:16And the Eastern Conference could be interesting.
27:19They've got a good core four when healthy.
27:21Lopez over Tyus Jones for three.
27:24And to kind of alter his path on that shot a little bit.
27:26Orlando has the rebound.
27:28Orlando team is long, athletic, young in positions like that.
27:34Wendell Carter, interchangeable parts.
27:37I think what could take them over the top, too, is the continual growth of Anthony Black.
27:42Point guard position, but also Tyus Jones when he finds his footing, stabilizing the second unit.
27:50Rainbow shot to a defense there by Isaac Lopez and Isaac entangled up in transition.
27:56Jamal Moseley yelling for a take foul.
28:04They're watching right here.
28:07I tell you what, man, this floor don't give, man.
28:10It don't feel good either.
28:11Young, old, it doesn't matter.
28:13I tried to stay off the floor as much as I could.
28:17The parquet doesn't soften the landing at all.
28:19It may look like his, oh, that's neat.
28:21No, no, it still hurts.
28:24I do enjoy the parquet.
28:26Tyus Jones was one of the free agent pickups over the offseason, yet to make an imprint.
28:32We'll talk about it a little bit later, but his offense has really been struggling.
28:35After three years, Badger averaging double figures.
28:39Clippers get the rebound.
28:41They're down 32-24.
28:43Sanders drives on Carter, stops on two feet, turns and fires.
28:47Great defense by Isaac.
28:48Isaac making the imprint, not just on the offensive end, but defensively that time.
28:53Carter can't hold on to it.
28:57And Chris Paul and some poor communication there.
29:01Turnover.
29:02Chris raises his hand, acknowledges the turnover.
29:06It'll stay with Orlando.
29:07Turnovers, man, especially the unforced ones, hamper a lot of what this Clipper team needs to do in particular when they're trying to make a rally.
29:18Like a turnover, too, towards that good help by the tune.
29:24How many times did you say that in the game?
29:27Oh, I like to keep saying, you know, with Nicholas.
29:31Bogdan Bogdanovich out there.
29:37Sanders again.
29:38He has got all time and space.
29:39The three bounces off.
29:41Sugs the rebound for Orlando.
29:43Clippers 3-12 from distance.
29:45Orlando not much better.
29:464-11.
29:48Then he blacked a whistle foul.
29:49Free throw's coming for him.
29:50The look of Bogdanovich staring down the official, couldn't quite see it on the profile.
30:04But Anthony Black will go to the free throw line.
30:0810-10 to play in this first half.
30:10Let's get a quick word from Hyundai.
30:13Enjoy the new car.
30:15Feels so right, it almost feels wrong.
30:18The Hyundai getaway sales event.
30:20You mentioned Anthony Black is kind of an X-factor for Orlando.
30:24His teammates have been urging him to be more assertive.
30:26Well, in his last two games, 39 total points.
30:30Makes one out of two at the stripe.
30:32Orlando leads by nine.
30:34Anthony Black was a heck of a receiver in high school.
30:37Got recruited by Baylor, Texas.
30:41Schools.
30:44Bogdanovich.
30:47Fade away.
30:48Zoo is there to try to tap it home.
30:50Can't get it to fall.
30:51The Bogdanovich beats a Zubac pick and roll over the last year or so has been one of the
30:56best in basketball.
30:57Zoo comes away with a rebound.
30:5933-24, Clippers trail.
31:01Yeah, but the Clippers dodged a bullet that time.
31:04Had an opportunity.
31:06Chris Paul got to a spot.
31:07I'd like to see that right there for Chris Paul getting to a spot.
31:10But Jonathan Isaac, once again, almost had another tip in to locate that body.
31:14The defense by bogey right there.
31:17The first points in the paint for Chris Paul this year.
31:20Picked up by Isaac.
31:21Eludes him.
31:22Backpedals.
31:23Flings up a three.
31:26Jones the rebound.
31:27Jones went seven scoreless games before going three for three against the Warriors a couple
31:39of nights ago.
31:41Sanders leaking out, goes to the rim, whistle and a foul, send him to the line.
31:45Defense, the offense, CP with the advanced pass up the court.
31:51One dribble.
31:53Turn down, drive with the hoop, brought to you by Monday.
31:55And here it is.
31:55Chris Paul heads up.
31:57Kobe Sanders, knowing that contact will in two, but braces himself.
32:02But look, keeps his eye up at the rim, or eyes.
32:05He's going to finish that thing right there off the glass.
32:08And just the little things with Kobe.
32:11You know, just entered high school at 5'8".
32:17It was one of those stories where he kept growing and kept growing.
32:21Like his favorite players in high school were Ty Lawson, the smaller point guards.
32:25Now here he is 6'9".
32:29How about that?
32:31With the guard skills, but I think when you watch him play because he played point guard,
32:36he has the intellect and the demeanor a lot of times of a point guard.
32:40As far as reading the defense, making the right decision.
32:46Bain the 3.
32:47His rookie year, one of the great shooters in the league.
32:50It caught up to a record set by Steph Curry.
32:53Is a good shooter.
32:54Hasn't found the touch here on the parquet in Orlando.
32:56Does leak out here.
32:57He'll get an easy one.
32:59Makes it to the rim and in.
33:00And a timeout for Ty Lue.
33:01It's 35-29 Orlando.
33:04Eight and a half to play in the half.
33:09Except the Orlando Magic, 36 years at the position.
33:14And on the Orlando Magic telecast, they like to do a thing.
33:16Is this anything?
33:18So, Jim Jackson, I ask you, is this anything, this core four here for the Magic?
33:23It is because I think the core four complement each other.
33:28Paolo is the score, the brute, the force.
33:30France provides kind of a little bit of everything on the court.
33:34Jayden is your defensive lockdown kind of player.
33:38Then Desmond Bain is the score but also can initiate the point guard.
33:41So, the interchangeable parts, I think, they work well together.
33:44Then you add in Anthony Black and Tristan Da Silva.
33:49And then Wendell Carter.
33:50You see why the Magic are very excited.
33:53Not just about this year but about their future moving forward.
33:58They did pay a price for Desmond Bain for unprotected draft picks.
34:01But, again, if that's what they feel, can put them over the top on the offensive side of things.
34:07It'll be interesting to see how it all plays out.
34:09Zou, offline, struggled a little bit here tonight.
34:1135-29.
34:13Come for Orlando out in front.
34:15Yeah, a couple good looks for Zou.
34:16Just overpowering it, too.
34:17Speaking of that, France gets to it.
34:20You know what's interesting, too?
34:21We talk about getting Desmond Bain, not wheat.
34:23Orlando Magic to help with their shooting.
34:25But, thus far, it hasn't translated as far as Orlando being a better three-point shooting team than they were last year.
34:32Bain just at 31 percent, down from 39 percent.
34:40But, in his last couple of ballgames, three-pointers aside, Bain has found his scoring touch.
34:4422 points and has hit.
34:47Jim, I feel the need to tell you, he's at 23 consecutive free throws.
34:50So, that means that, I mean, 24 is a good number.
34:54It's an even number.
34:56Can you get to it?
34:57Jersey number is 22 plus 2.
34:59It's just, it's got to be 24.
35:01But, you figure Desmond is going to get back, skewed back to his numbers, shooting-wise, for the three-point line, which will up the average, you know, for the team.
35:13I think Franz Wagner is the key with that, with him being able to shoot it at a higher percentage.
35:19Paul, crisp pass on the wing.
35:20The Batum, give him the assist, and give Batum the triple.
35:24And the Clippers, I wouldn't say they've had their best stuff in this first half.
35:28They're down by just five.
35:29Eliminate some of those turnovers.
35:32Result in eight points.
35:33I think this is a, of course, you know, closer game, of course.
35:39Eight to shoot for Wagner.
35:41Sucks.
35:41He was very happy to shoot threes in that first quarter.
35:44This time takes his attack.
35:45The paint may be a lob to Carter.
35:46Throw him behind and out of bounds.
35:48Got miscommunication that time.
35:50That deep inside, I think you saw a zoo, too.
35:53Another, always a deterrent right there in the lane.
35:57Chris is moving well.
35:58I like the way he looks here.
35:59There's a tap in, but Chris has been aggressive offensively.
36:03Something I don't think we've seen here in the first 14 games, and I like it.
36:07Clippers pulled it within three.
36:08I'm surprised we haven't seen that Pat did pull up just like him getting to his spot.
36:12Yeah, he didn't make the shot, but because he made that quick push like down, that allowed zoo to get inside and get an offensive rebound putback.
36:20These are the best minutes we've seen from Chris here in this young season.
36:23Whistle offensive foul will go any other way.
36:25The first quarter caught it right here.
36:32Look, you already got the mask on.
36:34You know, the mask may have saved him.
36:36So I went up to Franz before the game, and Chris making his patnish move zoo there.
36:43I said, okay, so when your injury heals those, are you going to do the Richard Hamilton and stay with the mask?
36:50He was like, no, as soon as I can get out of it, I'm out of it.
36:54You know, rip, he'll, but he was playing so well with it, it became his superstition that he couldn't get rid of.
37:04I would do the rip one.
37:07This one's a rough go.
37:09You talk about aesthetic.
37:11Of course, that's all I care about is how good does it look.
37:14It looks like Hannibal Lecter out there.
37:16Wagner, the three.
37:18Rebound tapped over to Bogdanovich.
37:19Yeah, that could be his nickname if he keeps scoring the way he is.
37:24Bogdanovich, the runner.
37:26Rebound tapped out of bounds.
37:28Give me some fava beans, will you?
37:29Yep.
37:30Six and a half to play in the half soon.
37:34He was looking for the shot.
37:35Free throw is not going to get it.
37:38Sanders will take a secret.
37:39Chris Dunn checks in.
37:41I know he's only one for five, but he had some good luck.
37:44Kobe Sanders did.
37:46And for players like Sanders, I like to look at this.
37:48He's played 14 minutes.
37:49The Clippers trail by three.
37:51He's a net zero.
37:52So they haven't lost the minutes with the rookie out there getting his second consecutive start.
37:58Harden back out there.
38:00Over the top of Suggs and knocks it down.
38:03I mentioned it.
38:04Suggs is a real pest in the full court for James Harden.
38:06But maybe in the half court set, Harden's strength can overpower him.
38:10And certainly the size is the first pulled over than one.
38:13We've got the last seven of the game.
38:15Black.
38:16Bogdanovich.
38:17Whistle foul.
38:18Stop at the clock.
38:196.06 to play in this first half.
38:21And you said this early.
38:24So James now able to square up as Anthony Black.
38:28And that's some size at 6-8.
38:30But again, the hesitation from defenders to overcommit to James is always plays.
38:38I think it is benefit.
38:40I thought that was Suggs that he shot the ball over.
38:42But not actually Black there is Suggs.
38:44I didn't get that one wrong.
38:45Suggs throws it down.
38:47Suggs now with 10.
38:48And it's 39-36, Orlando.
38:51Who threw that down?
38:52Suggs did definitely put that one down.
38:54You sure?
38:57I just, you know, maybe your monitor is a different game than you're sitting.
39:03I did have to look at the monitor because it was happening in front of us.
39:06Black misses that time for sure.
39:08And Sue has the rebound.
39:09Now, sometimes we do get blocked where we're sitting.
39:12So it's hard to see a 6-8 guy with braids.
39:15They both have.
39:16A 6-8 guy with braids.
39:18They have white headbands.
39:20That's tall.
39:20That, with braids.
39:22Suggs doesn't have braids.
39:24Suggs was taking it out here.
39:26But I can see how you got confused.
39:28I mean, I really can't.
39:29I've got an optometrist appointment tomorrow in Charlotte.
39:32Don't worry about it.
39:35Anyway, that play shouldn't happen from out of bounds or straight line pass
39:39to get a lot.
39:40Listen, they've both got headbands.
39:41They've got leg sleeves.
39:43And they're both very good at basketball.
39:44That was pretty close.
39:45Da Silva's been very good from above the arc for Orlando.
39:48And remains that way.
39:49It's his first three tonight.
39:51But shooting at 45% of the year.
39:5342-36, Magic by 6.
40:00Zou, one toe spin on Batazi.
40:02Mishandles live ball turnover.
40:03Suggs the other way.
40:07Again, Da Silva in the corner for three.
40:09Holds the finish.
40:10Timeout Clippers.
40:11It was a one-point game just a moment ago.
40:13It's 45-36, Magic.
40:15And this is a pesky Orlando team.
40:17You've got to be strong with the ball.
40:19If not, as we see, the Magic will.
40:21Now for the Range Rover, sport-engineered to win.
40:25There you see the score.
40:25Clippers trailing by nine.
40:27And interesting draft.
40:29And we went through the exercise before the game about redrafting
40:32and placing players in different places.
40:35But there's a lot of talent in that first round back in 2021.
40:40We talked about if you were to redraft it, who would you take?
40:42I said, Kate Cunningham still one.
40:44Alpernsen-Gun two.
40:46Evan Bobley three.
40:48And I would take Franz Wagner at four.
40:53Scotty Barnes at five.
40:57Scotty Barnes, ultimately one rookie of the year in that class.
41:00And you know what, Jonathan Kaminga, too, it's a little bit tougher
41:03because Golden State is in the win-now situation,
41:06so it's hard to develop young talent when you're in the win-now mindset.
41:11And I think Kaminga has gotten caught up in that, you know, that mindset.
41:18Set play coming out of the timeout, taking a minute to develop.
41:22Yeah, too long.
41:25Four to shoot for Collins, going to have to bail him out.
41:27Gets into the paint, tough jumper.
41:28It falls.
41:29They get a bucket nevertheless.
41:31And it's now 45-38.
41:33Orlando out in front.
41:34And I like that with Collins right there.
41:37He can create his shot, but that time he didn't have to do too much.
41:40Two dribbles able to get his shot right over the top of the silver.
41:45Patase.
41:47Now Suggs.
41:50Pulls it back again, the three.
41:52Again, it falls for Suggs.
41:54It's his third.
41:56It leads all for Orlando with 13.
41:59Hard probing.
42:07Collins again.
42:08Nice defense there by Du Silva.
42:11Ball poked out of bounds.
42:12They're going to say last touch by Orlando, which I think is the appropriate call.
42:16All right, yeah, but we talked about this at the top.
42:21That Suggs maybe not known for this, but he is very confident that he can knock it in.
42:26And one thing the Clippers have to do a little better job of is being ready for the poke-aways by this Orlando Magic team.
42:34We've seen it a number of cases in that time able to retain the possession.
42:42Bogdanovich gets right to the rim, blocked from behind by Suggs.
42:45It'll stay once again with the Clippers, however, only four on the shot clock.
42:49You mentioned Anthony Black being a great receiver.
42:57Jalen Suggs was Mr. Football in Minnesota.
43:00Well, he was, he was, shoot, I think maybe number one high school quarterback when he came out of Minnesota.
43:07So not only basketball, but football as well.
43:13Another three-point opportunity for Harden where he gets fouled.
43:17He'll go right back to the free-throw line.
43:19There he is again.
43:21Square up.
43:23There's a three.
43:24How about this, Paige Beckers and Jalen Suggs, who were great high school friends and came out of Minnesota, Minneapolis, at the same time.
43:34Talking about some talents there in high school.
43:37Don't forget Chet Holmgren.
43:38Oh, Chet.
43:39Yeah, for the Minnesota.
43:40Who was that?
43:41Did he play?
43:43Chet Holmgren.
43:44Sounds familiar.
43:47And University of Minnesota has to just, you know, I'm a Big Ten guy.
43:52You think about all the talent, Ty Jones, right?
43:55The Jones brothers that have left the state and even went over to like Wisconsin or other places in the Big Ten,
44:02but not Minnesota, has to be a tough one.
44:06Jalen Suggs went all the way out to Gonzaga, okay, out to the state of Washington.
44:11That has to be a tough pill to swallow.
44:13One more clipper of your coffee did stay in the state, had a terrific career while there.
44:18Like his pops.
44:19Hits.
44:2347-41.
44:25Orlando have basically led the entire way.
44:28De Silva has two threes in the quarter and misses their Dunn the rebound.
44:32They shot out of a cannon here in transition.
44:34Dunn down the lane, up and under, feeds it to Sanders.
44:36Hangs, but can't hit.
44:37Matazzi right there, kind of influenced that shot by Sanders if he'd give him up.
44:47Another transition point.
44:50Two points for Orlando.
44:55Three for Harden, again, just putting the team on his back.
44:59Wagner has it knocked out of its hands.
45:00Good defense there by Collins.
45:01Well, the missed layup, nobody's back, nobody's talking, nobody's pointing, okay?
45:12You got to get down.
45:13And that's simple.
45:15You form a two-man line.
45:18One in front, one in back.
45:20Too easy.
45:21Oh, good defense by Sanders.
45:23Suggs able to recover the loose ball.
45:25Matazzi back to Suggs.
45:27Plenty of time to shoot here for Orlando.
45:29Floater this time is long.
45:33I'm going to give you some good news.
45:34It sounds like bad news.
45:35Clippers shooting 38%.
45:37They have eight turnovers.
45:39They're down by five.
45:40Yep, two possession.
45:42And that's what I'm saying.
45:43It's like you eliminate the self-inflicted mistakes.
45:46Turnover, live ball, and not getting back in transit.
45:49Those are a couple things that you can take care of.
45:51This is a different ballgame.
45:53Just got to tighten up in these areas, especially, I say it all the time,
45:56when you're on the road, the margin of error.
45:59It's less.
46:01Wagner crosses over Zoo.
46:04Running hook shot.
46:04Not there.
46:05Collins the rebound.
46:06Clippers down just five, shooting 38% from the field.
46:10Harden accelerates from the line to the lane to the rim, though.
46:13Rebound goes to Batazzi in the Orlando Magic.
46:16Black the other way.
46:18Drives in on Sanders.
46:20A whistle and a foul will go on the rookie.
46:21Anthony Black is really good.
46:24He excels in transition.
46:27At that time, able to seek out the paint in the middle.
46:32That foul and so much potential, that size.
46:37Look at that.
46:3821.4 rebounds.

46:55Bain checks back in.
47:04So, too, does Carter Jr.
47:072.17 to play in this first quarter.
47:09It is worth pointing out.
47:10No Paulo Banqueiro tonight.
47:12But when Carter, Bain, Wagner, and Banqueiro and Suggs are on the floor,
47:17that's the best lineup in the NBA for lineups that have played over 100 minutes.
47:21So, we said, is this anything?
47:22Right now, early on in the season, the answer is a resounding yes, it is.
47:26How many games was that calculated on?
47:29Do you know?
47:30Altogether?
47:30It was more of a minute.
47:32The minutes was the thought that I used.
47:33The hundreds plus minutes.
47:34The hundreds plus minutes.
47:35Okay.
47:37Parton around Carter.
47:38The drive of the dish.
47:40A whistle.
47:41You see.
47:43Travel.
47:44Chris Dunn.
47:46Turnover number 10.
47:47Orlando has 47 field goal to 10.
47:54Opposed to 41 by the Clippers.
47:57Clippers have 10 turnovers.
47:59So, field goal, shots at the rim.
48:03Not going to be able to out-shoot your opponent.
48:06Consistently giving the ball back to him on turnover.
48:09Now, 14 of their 51 points have come off of those Clipper miscues.
48:13Black accelerates into the paint.
48:15Tough pass for Wagner late in the clock.
48:18Drives in on Zoo.
48:19Gets deep into the paint.
48:20Fades and fires.
48:21Fills it up.
48:21Wagner very gifted.
48:23Just points five and six for him.
48:25It's 53-44.
48:27Orlando.
48:29Big 90 seconds coming up here for the Clippers to close out this first half.
48:32They'll have the ball to start the third quarter as well.
48:36Zoo.
48:36Nice pass inside to Dunn.
48:38Misses at the doorstep.
48:41Suggs.
48:45Carter, Jr. in the corner for three.
48:47Vita-Zubac reels in his 12th rebound.
48:50Clippers looking to push.
48:51Harden on Wagner.
48:52Sidesteps it.
48:53Gets to the rim.
48:54Loses the handle, but maybe a foul.
48:56And, indeed, a foul will go on Carter.
48:58He'll send James right back to the free-throw line.
49:06James lost the other way with it.
49:11Did he lose it?
49:12Because Carter reaches in.
49:13Well, let's see.
49:15Yeah, right there.
49:17Carter got him on that with his left hand on James' right arm.
49:22That's where the good catch right there, Brighton.
49:25The monitor works, huh?
49:29It's working well right now, huh?
49:32I just, you know, right?
49:35You humble me.
49:38Sanders checks out.
49:39Batum will check in.
49:41You know, they're going to, look at this.
49:43They're throwing me under the bus.
49:44We are in the front row.
49:45To Brian's.
49:47No, I didn't.
49:48Go ahead.
49:48Nope.
49:49I'm not going to do it.
49:50You were going to help me out.
49:52You're going to not let him stand in the rain by himself.
49:53All right, I got you.
49:58Rosie just threw you under the bus.
50:00Oh, yes.
50:01Our producer, Stephen Rose, thank you so much.
50:03Yep, thanks, Rosie.
50:0453-46 Orlando inside of a minute to play.
50:08Suggs, yet another three.
50:09It's in the air.
50:10And he is good again.
50:11He's taken six of them.
50:12He's made three of them.
50:14And he puts Orlando out in front by ten.
50:16This is their largest lead of the game.
50:18Two for one opportunity for the Clippers.
50:20Two for one opportunity for the Clippers.
50:23Two for one opportunity for the Clippers.
50:24Harden, straight on three.
50:26Book it.
50:26Harden with 24 in the first half.
50:28And let's get a stop here.
50:30Get a stop.
50:31Close this thing with another basket.
50:35On our end.
50:35Good defense by Don.
50:37A little overzealous at the end.
50:3932 seconds to play here in the half.
50:42A smart play by Suggs.
50:43Trying to get a two for one.
50:44They were able to get.
50:47He got himself to the free throw line.
50:51The only bummer about Jalen Suggs has been his availability over the years.
50:55Just 35 games.
50:57Last year, only once over 53 games.
50:59There was a time he played only 13.
51:01He said it was a summer of learning.
51:02He's very kind of self-aware.
51:04And in a league full of competitive players, this is one of the standouts in that category.
51:11Just competes at all levels.
51:13Gets the first of two.
51:16Here's the alley-ooping question.
51:19I'm going to help you out.
51:20This is where we're right there.
51:23This is where we're at right here.
51:24Now look who's standing in front of.
51:25Ty, get out the way.
51:26We're trying to call the game.
51:28So you really couldn't see outside of this really good, clear, HD,
51:33monitor that's sitting right here, right next to us.
51:38But because you were looking at the rim and not the monitor,
51:42you couldn't see it.
51:44Right?
51:45That's correct.
51:47You let me stand out in the rain for a little bit,
51:49then you give me some shelter.
51:51Thank you very much.
51:535849.
51:54Clippers trailing here.
51:55They'll be down at the turn,
51:56but there's a lot of room for improvement,
51:59and that's one of the areas turnovers.
52:01Suggs to Vaatner.
52:03Not there.
52:04Eight seconds to shoot.
52:05It sucked in the corner on the recoil and puts it in.
52:09Twenty first half points for Jalen Suggs.
52:13Still some meat on the bone for the Clippers.
52:15Done.
52:16To the rim.
52:17The floater.
52:19Not there.
52:21Clippers had opportunities,
52:22but 11 first half turnovers puts Orlando out in front by 12,
52:28but James Hart,
52:29another virtuoso performance.
52:31You know,
52:31James doing his thing.
52:33Twenty-four points in that first half,
52:34but all of this is going to get negated
52:37when you're giving up turnovers and points to your opponent on the road.
52:41Tough road to go,
52:42but it's work to be done in the second half of the Clips.
52:47Right.
52:48It almost feels wrong.

53:10Well,
53:11Orlando out in front 61 to 49,
53:15and, you know,
53:16Clippers shot 36% of that first half,
53:19but they've given themselves opportunities.
53:21It'll be an interesting second half.
53:22Meanwhile,
53:23I mentioned they scored 49 points.
53:25James Harden with 24 of those 49.
53:29Well,
53:30you pretty much get cut and paste.
53:33James Harden all the time at some point.
53:35We're going to show whether it's into the first quarter,
53:37halftime or whatever,
53:38or hitting the game winner.
53:40James just going about his business,
53:42you know,
53:43doing his thing.
53:43And it's,
53:44you don't want to take that greatness for granted,
53:46but sometimes it's hard not to when he continues to put up numbers like this.
53:50And this is just at halftime.
53:52The trip he has had so far.
53:54Meanwhile,
53:55on the other side of it,
53:56Jalen Suggs having himself a half.
53:57Well,
53:58I mean,
53:58the scouting report is going to say,
53:59look,
53:59Jalen Suggs is a 33 career percentage three-point shooter.
54:04So be there,
54:05take away some space.
54:07If he makes some,
54:08we make adjustments.
54:09Well,
54:09I think in the first half,
54:10he's proven a little bit more.
54:12Again,
54:12he's had some really good shot.
54:14And we said it,
54:14Brian,
54:14he's shooting the ball with a lot more confidence.
54:17The number of threes are down a couple this year for him for attempts,
54:21but he still feels that he can make them into that first half.
54:24You see,
54:24he was four for seven.
54:25And now will that trend continue in the second?
54:28Well,
54:28like in NBA,
54:29Brian,
54:30if any.
