00:00Paul is an avid lover of nature, hiking, camping, and the great outdoors.
00:05A few months ago, he started posting a series on his channel about his journey along the Pacific Crest Trail,
00:10a massive route that spans about 2,650 miles.
00:14He uploaded a video every single day for 149 days, sharing the highs and lows of his adventure.
00:20But on day 104, something happened that would leave a lasting impact on him.
00:24While hiking as usual, he noticed something off to the side of the trail,
00:29something that instantly caught his attention.
00:31It made him stop to take a closer look.
00:35And there's this kind of cloud clinging to the lower ground.
00:41Because I'm quite low myself, I can't show you properly.
00:47But it's kind of like a big, thick, heavy cloud inversion.
00:53It looks really, really nice. Just keep getting glimpses of it.
00:59And there's moisture just dripping off everything, off all the trees and all the plants.
01:07I know it wouldn't have been very nice to be out in it last night.
01:10I did see a few people I know that had been posting on Instagram that they were caught up in it.
01:24Someone's been busy there making a pine cone heart.
01:29It was a heart made out of pine cones.
01:34Simple, yet genuinely heartwarming.
01:38It was one of those small, thoughtful gestures that made him pause and appreciate the kindness of fellow hikers.
01:43Unfortunately, what he found next wasn't nearly as wholesome as this sweet little sign left behind.
01:48But what happened next?
01:49So I've just come from this direction, walking down this trail here.
01:56And to the side of me is this big volcanic feature.
02:02I'm going to guess it's either a sill or a dike.
02:04I can't remember the difference between them.
02:06But just through here on some of the rocks, there seems to be a big pile of, it kind of looks like trash, but it also looks like it could be a sleeping bag.
02:17And I can't see anyone there.
02:21It's just a little bit strange.
02:23So I'm just going to have a wander in and make sure that there's nothing nasty going on.
02:36Hello?
03:06Oh my goodness me.
03:17Oh no.
03:22Oh no.
03:23Um, I'm not sure if I've just found a body or not.
03:39At first, Paul wasn't entirely sure if what he was seeing was actually a person.
03:43It could have been anything.
03:45Maybe a mannequin or some old clothes left behind.
03:47But as he got closer and started inspecting, he noticed something that confirmed his worst fear.
03:54I'll let him explain what happened next.
03:56But I didn't think it would happen to me.
03:59I've just found somebody's remains at the side of the trail.
04:04And when I say the side of the trail, kind of like off that side of the trail, maybe 50 feet or so.
04:14I thought it was a pile of trash to start with.
04:16And I thought I would just go and investigate.
04:20When I got closer to it, it became obvious that it was the remains of a hiker.
04:25There was a backpack there, a sun umbrella, some trekking poles.
04:31And then I spotted the leg bones completely stripped.
04:36The tent was there.
04:38You know, all the sort of stuff you would associate with a through hiker or a long section hiker.
04:43And then when I turned around to leave the scene, to get back to the trail, to figure out what to do, that's when I spotted the skull.
04:58And that just obviously confirmed everything.
05:02There was a couple behind me.
05:04Adam and Jennifer, thank goodness.
05:07They helped me out.
05:09And Adam called 911.
05:11He had a little bit of service.
05:15And there's some deputies coming out to meet us.
05:18Paul and the couple immediately called the police.
05:20And thankfully, authorities arrived soon after to recover the body.
05:24What made the situation even stranger was that the body wasn't far from the main trail.
05:28And based on its condition, it seemed to have been there for about a year.
05:32Hopefully, Paul's discovery brought some closure to a family who might have been searching for a loved one without answers.
05:38However, the police mentioned that there hadn't been any recent missing person reports matching the case, which only added to the mystery.
05:47Out of respect for the deceased and his audience, Paul chose not to film the police interaction or share any photos.
05:53It was a heartbreaking encounter and a sobering reminder of why it's so important to never hike alone and always make sure someone knows where you are.
06:01Omega is a YouTuber who's delved into various types of content.
06:05But it's his eerie explorations of abandoned and haunted places that have truly captivated his audience.
06:11In this particular video, he ventures into Spooner's Tunnel, a relic from the past carved into the New Zealand landscape.
06:18Built in the late 1800s and sealed off in 1955, it still holds the record as the country's longest unused rail tunnel.
06:26Omega's plan was straightforward.
06:28Spend the night inside.
06:30But as the hours ticked by, what unfolded would leave even the most fearless viewers unsettled.
06:35The nerves are really starting to kick in now.
06:39What?
06:40I want to be spending a night in this thing.
06:44Oh no.
06:46I don't know about this guy.
06:49What the freak.
06:52Oh no.
06:53Here it is everyone.
06:56Spooner's Rail Tunnel.
06:58It was built in, there we go, 1891 to 93.
07:02And man, look at the length.
07:03It's 1,352 metres.
07:07This is the longest disused rail tunnel in New Zealand.
07:12Oh man, alive.
07:14I don't know how far I'm going to go into this thing.
07:18I've got to find a place to set up camp though somewhere.
07:21And it has to be in the tunnel.
07:22So I'm going to venture in.
07:24From what I remember, there are little manholes throughout this tunnel.
07:28I think the thing that I'm mostly worried about is people coming up here.
07:36I mean, you don't know what kind of people come up here.
07:39I don't see any visible signs of like tagging or anything on the outside piece of the tunnel.
07:44But you just don't know.
07:46You don't know what kind of people are going to come up and hang out in this tunnel, you know, in the night.
07:52And it is a Friday night here.
07:54So yeah, there could be anyone coming up here.
07:57Oh look, that's me long lost shoe.
08:00Okay, before we even go into the tunnel, as you can see, it's totally pitch black.
08:06It's too dark to go in there without any form or source of light.
08:10So that's the next thing we need to get out of the pack.
08:14Oh, there's my baby.
08:16This is my massive dolphin torch.
08:19It's a really good torch, as you can see.
08:22It pretty much shined right down to the end of the tunnel there.
08:24So this thing will do the trick, I'm sure.
08:27All right, Max.
08:28You ready for another adventure?
08:30Another overnight challenge?
08:33Poor Max getting subjected to all these videos.
08:36What do you think you're doing to me, Omega, hey?
08:38For these YouTube videos?
08:40Let's start wandering into this dark, gloomy tunnel
08:44and find a place we're going to camp it out for the night.
08:47All right, Max.
08:49Omega and his dog carefully made their way into the tunnel,
08:52their footsteps echoing softly in the silence.
08:55The only light came from his flashlight,
08:57casting flickering beams against the damp stone walls
08:59as they ventured deeper into the darkness.
09:01And as you can see out here, it is totally dark now.
09:06The sun's gone right down.
09:07There's no more light left.
09:08If I turn my light off, now this is the freaky thing.
09:11When I turn this light off, it is totally pitch black and silent.
09:15You ready?
09:16Here we go.
09:17After a bit of exploring, Omega found a cozy spot
09:21that seemed ideal for the night.
09:23He set up his gear, made himself a simple meal,
09:26and decided to take a short wander before settling in for the evening.
09:29I mean, it's literally two in the morning,
09:31so this is like the time that something's going to happen.
09:34If something's going to happen, I'll turn my light off.
09:37Like right here, I'll turn my light off.
09:38You ready?
09:39Three, two, one.
09:42I literally got the light on the camera.
09:47That's it.
09:54Oh, man.
09:56This is pretty creepy, actually.
09:58There's like nothing.
10:01It's like dead silence.
10:05Max.
10:06Sorry, I got to turn the light back on.
10:08There he is.
10:08I'll say, it's really strange without the lights on.
10:11It's weird, man.
10:12Like, you're underground in the middle of nowhere.
10:15It's strange.
10:16You just, you don't know what you're going to find down here.
10:18I think that's the biggest thing.
10:21And if you look down there,
10:24like, that's how far we are away from the entrance that we came in.
10:29Like, it's pretty far.
10:32So, yeah, I mean,
10:342 a.m. in the middle of a over-kilometer tunnel,
10:38I mean, and it's abandoned.
10:40I mean, what do you expect?
10:42It's pretty creepy.
10:44Like, friends of mine have actually told me that
10:47if you're silent enough in this tunnel,
10:50and that's why I kind of stayed the night in this one,
10:53because I wanted to see if it was true.
10:55Look, there's another manhole as we approach it.
10:57There it is.
10:58There is another manhole, people.
11:00I was told you can actually hear the old trains coming through this tunnel.
11:04I don't know if that's true.
11:06I don't know if I believe in that stuff, but, you know,
11:09that's what I've been told.
11:11When you stay the night in this tunnel,
11:12you hear the old trains going through here.
11:15Crazy, I know.
11:15I'm going deeper and deeper into this tunnel.
11:19This is so long, it's ridiculous.
11:22Omega's walk through the tunnel remained quiet and uneventful,
11:25so he eventually returned to his small camp to call it a night.
11:29Just as he was settling in and starting to relax,
11:32a sudden noise shattered the stillness,
11:34a sharp echo that rang through the dark corridor.
11:37His instincts kicked in.
11:38Grabbing his flashlight, he stood up and moved toward the sound,
11:41determined to uncover its source.
11:44What the action?
11:46Can you guys hear that?
11:52Max, where is it?
11:54I don't know if you guys can hear this on the camera,
11:56but there's something.
11:58What is that?
12:05What the?
12:08What is that?
12:22Max, what is that?
12:24Hello?
12:26Is there somebody here?
12:30That's just creepy.
12:31What the hell?
12:33Is anyone here?
12:37What is that?
12:39Who?
12:41Max!
12:42Mario!
12:43Max!
12:44Max!
12:46You've been out of me!
12:49The sound led him straight to something completely unexpected.
12:52A small toy,
12:54slowly playing its haunting tune in the pitch dark.
12:57The eerie melody echoed through the tunnel
12:59as Omega swept his flashlight across the walls,
13:02trying to figure out who might have left it there.
13:04Then,
13:05just beyond the beam's reach,
13:06he saw movement.
13:08A man,
13:09standing silently in the shadows.
13:11It quickly became clear that this wasn't some paranormal encounter,
13:14but more likely a person living in the tunnel,
13:17using the darkness to spook him away.
13:19Realizing the situation,
13:21Omega didn't hesitate.
13:22He grabbed his gear and made a quick exit.
13:24Viewers were divided over what really happened that night.
13:27Some were convinced the figure was a ghost,
13:29while others argued it was simply a person hiding in the dark.
13:31What do you think really went down?
13:34Drop your thoughts in the comments below.
13:36Tasha is a woman who occasionally shares short TikToks about her life.
13:41While she's not exactly an influencer,
13:43one of her videos went viral
13:44after she filmed a strange and unsettling experience
13:48while out by the river with her dog,
13:50simply trying to enjoy some peaceful time in nature.
13:54Out of nowhere,
13:55she heard someone moving through the water toward her.
13:57Her dog instantly picked up on the danger,
14:00and that's when she began recording.
14:02This guy doesn't seem to sit here.
14:05He's trying to creep up.
14:07Just like you.
14:09See his head right.
14:11Oh, he's going to have a clue.
14:15He's going to close your door.
14:18There's no idea I'm sitting here.
14:21He doesn't sit here.
14:22Yeah.
14:22Yeah.
14:27What are you doing?
14:35You can't get out here, sir.
14:41No!
14:42Don't!
14:44Bell come!
14:45Bell come!
14:52What are you doing?
14:53What are you doing?
14:57Her dog started barking and moving toward the man,
15:07clearly sensing that something wasn't right.
15:10Tasha, trying to keep her composure,
15:13called out to him,
15:14hoping he would respond.
15:15You're not taking my tube, boy.
15:18I'm recording.
15:23It is.
15:24I've seen all of you.
15:28I got all of you on camera.
15:30Y'all, I'm with them, right?
15:32Then go get with them.
15:37Tasha later found out
15:38that the man was out on parole
15:40with a criminal record for drug abuse,
15:42sexual assault, and weapon possession.
15:44Knowing this makes the whole situation
15:46even more unsettling.
15:48It's clear this man was extremely dangerous
15:50and hadn't learned anything from his past.
15:52It's chilling to think he would approach
15:54a woman alone by the river
15:55as if nothing had happened.
15:58Thankfully, her dog stood its ground
16:00and kept him at bay.
16:02When he realized he was being filmed,
16:04he quickly backed off
16:05and awkwardly asked if the boat was hers.
16:07Well, even if it wasn't,
16:09it was none of his business,
16:11especially given his history.
16:13According to some comments,
16:14he's back in jail for violating his parole.
16:17Honestly, he really only has himself to blame.
16:19In 2016, a man headed out
16:22with his fishing rod,
16:24documenting his stroll
16:25through a peaceful forest
16:27near the Kanagawa River
16:28in Misaka Town.
16:30He wasn't concerned with bad luck
16:31or empty hooks.
16:32He was just on the hunt
16:33for the ideal spot to fish.
16:35But as he ventured further into the woods,
16:37his serene walk took an unexpected turn.
16:39He was just on the hunt.
17:09inhere
17:24and he managed
17:25because he doesn't exist
17:27in02,
17:28he thought he would be
17:29I'm going to go to the next video.
17:34I'll go to the next video.
17:39I'll be back here.
17:44I'll be back here.
17:50I'm going to go to the next video.
17:56There's a dog.
18:00There's a dog.
18:26Oh
18:32Oh
18:34Oh
18:36Oh
18:38Oh
18:40Oh
18:42Oh
18:44Oh
18:46Oh
18:48Oh
18:50Oh
18:52Oh
18:54Oh
18:56Oh
19:06Oh
19:08Oh
19:12Oh
19:14Oh
19:20Oh
19:22Oh
19:24Oh
19:34Oh
19:36Out of nowhere, a bear suddenly appeared from the trees and charged straight at him.
19:40He stumbled backward into the river as the bear sank its teeth into his shoe, acting purely on instinct.
19:46Panicking, he kicked at its face with his free leg over and over until it finally let go.
19:52For a moment, it seemed like he'd escaped.
19:54But the bear wasn't done.
19:56It came charging back.
19:58Trapped with nowhere to run, he grabbed a fallen branch and let out a fierce guttural roar.
20:02The sound startled the bear just enough to give him the opening he needed to escape.
20:06Somehow, he made it out unscathed.
20:08Was it skill?
20:10Luck?
20:11Or maybe, as the saying goes, the cameraman never dies.
20:14Bob and Marcy, a truly delightful elderly couple, in the heart of Mr. Bubba's adventures, are dedicated nature lovers.
20:22They never miss an opportunity to jump into their van and explore the wonders of America, chasing stunning landscapes and memorable trails.
20:30In this particular story, they're heading toward Mount Hood, Oregon.
20:34But I'll let them share the details of the adventure themselves.
20:38Both of them have such warm, soothing voices that you can't help but want to listen on.
20:44On Route 35 into Oregon, towards Mount Hood.
20:50Well, we're almost to Mount Hood, and the weather has turned a little bit.
20:56It's raining and it's pretty foggy.
20:59Wow, I hope we can see it when we get there after all this.
21:08The weather's finally starting to break, and you can see Mount Hood out in the distance.
21:20I didn't want to say anything in front of Bob, but I did a great job picking a spot. Look at that.
21:27Mount Hood.
21:30After spending the night near Mount Hood, Bob and Marcy hit the road again the next day.
21:35This time making their way to Mount Hood National Forest for another night immersed in nature.
21:40However, the spot they chose to camp in had a history, a dark one.
21:45And we're about to uncover why through the following news reports.
21:49They did recover the remains of a woman two weeks ago off a Forest Service road close to Estacada.
21:55They believe she was killed recently.
21:57Law enforcement tells me somebody out here in Estacada found her body just off this Forest Service road back on September 1st.
22:06An autopsy led detectives to determine this was a homicide case.
22:10Things take an even stranger turn when it's revealed that the tragic incident actually occurred while Bob and Marcy were camping in that very spot.
22:19Coincidence, they had a camera mounted on their van, and on the night they stayed there, it captured something unsettling.
22:26Let's take a look at what the footage revealed.
22:28Just as we were turning out the lights, our security cameras captured something very strange.
22:35Let's take another look at the footage.
22:37It's clear that something is moving.
22:43You can actually see it walking.
22:45What's strange, though, is that it looks like a person, yet completely see-through, as if it doesn't have a solid body at all.
22:52Of course, this could easily be a trick of the light or some kind of visual distortion that made the figure appear translucent.
22:59Still, there's no denying that someone or something was near their campsite that night.
23:05Whether it's connected to the grim story mentioned earlier, we can't say for certain, but it definitely remains a chilling mystery.
23:12How about you? How would you feel if you were in their place?
23:15Let me know your thoughts down below, and don't forget to give this video a like.
23:20Next, we meet Michael, a young man with a deep passion for nature, and more recently, bushcrafting.
23:27He's the face behind a small but promising YouTube channel called Ad Outdoors, which already features a few fascinating videos.
23:35One in particular caught my eye.
23:37A short film where Michael documented the process of building a small rustic cabin and a wooden bench by hand over several months,
23:44in a place that holds personal significance to him.
23:46The bench, by the way, was a beautiful gift for his mother.
23:50It's such a thoughtful gesture, and it seems I'm not the only one who feels that way.
23:55Someone else who frequents the same area left him a message praising his work.
23:59But let's hear more from Michael himself.
24:01This is my favorite spot in the entire world.
24:04I have been coming to this spot ever since I was probably 13 or 14.
24:09It's always been a place where I could come and just relax.
24:13It's always been my favorite sunset spot.
24:15It's been a place where I think, where I find peace, where I find rest.
24:19I always felt a very strong presence.
24:21I'm a big believer in God, and I've always felt him in this area.
24:25And that's why I decided, you know, I'm going to build a shelter because this place is almost like one of my spiritual homes.
24:31So I want to build a physical home here and camp out here one day and yeah, watch the sunsets.
24:36What's been really, really cool in the past couple weeks is that I have found out that this spot is not just my favorite place, but another person's.
24:46There's been a little like rock formations been forming behind me.
24:50And also there's been little rocks like placed near my fort.
24:53Now, I built this bench for my mom.
24:55So my mom comes out here a lot.
24:56So I thought it was just her.
24:57And then one day I find this notebook in my fort.
25:00And it's a stranger who comes to this place ever so often because they love this place too.
25:06That first video was filmed during the summer, as you can clearly tell from the bright, lush scenery.
25:11But just two weeks ago, in October, Michael posted an update about his little project.
25:17Unfortunately, things took a very unpleasant turn.
25:20Let's dive into what happened next.
25:30About eight months ago, I started building my mini log cabin.
25:33What took six months of hard work and effort led me to one of my greatest builds I've ever made.
25:39It was my first time really doing an outdoor boys style cabin.
25:42But now it is gone.
25:44Standing no more than a month, this cabin has now been reduced to a pile of sticks by God knows who and God knows when.
25:52And when I discovered this, I was extremely angry.
25:54And I'm still extremely angry.
25:56But I was shouting profanities into the wind for probably 20 minutes.
26:00Stuff that I should never repeat on camera or probably ever repeat again.
26:04And what angered me most was not necessarily the destruction of the cabin.
26:08But the bench that I made my mother for Christmas.
26:11It was completely uprooted.
26:13And that just drove me mad.
26:15Because that was such a special gift to my mother.
26:18Because she likes to often come out here and enjoy the sunset and a cup of coffee.
26:22And I guess you just can't have that in these woods.
26:25They just gotta take whoever it is, gotta take everything from you.
26:29Speaking of taking things, another thing that really made me mad was one, the tarp that was on this cabin was just stolen.
26:37Definitely was not the wind that took that one.
26:39That was just deliberately taken.
26:41And on top of that, they took probably the most special item I've had in years.
26:46That notebook that that stranger gave to me complimenting me about this shelter.
26:50I felt so violated when I discovered that notebook was gone.
26:54Because we shared so many, not super personal stories, but very deep and emotional stories about this area and the space that we love the most.
27:02And if you want to hear some of those stories, I highly recommend going and watching the cabin build.
27:07I talk a little bit more detail about the wonderful things that we discussed.
27:10And while I am still in shock and pretty angry, a fire has started inside me to want to build something even greater than this.
27:17I had so many plans for this cabin in the winter, I really wanted to stay out here in a storm.
27:23But now I know that I have to work even harder to build another one.
27:26And I'm completely okay with that.
27:28I just really want to prove to those people who destroyed my cabin, is that they didn't destroy me.
27:33They didn't destroy my creative abilities.
27:35They didn't destroy my love for making videos.
27:38And hopefully in the months to come, you'll see an awesome building video.
27:41I don't know about you, but this story hit me harder than any sound of footsteps in the dark ever could.
27:47Because this, this is something real.
27:50Something that truly makes you feel.
27:52But the video doesn't end there.
27:54Michael actually left a message for whoever did this in case they ever decided to return.
27:58I'll leave it on screen so you can pause and read it.
28:01Of course, that brings up a lot of questions.
28:03Why would someone do this?
28:05Who would go out of their way to destroy something so meaningful?
28:08Could it have been the same person who left that kind note before?
28:11Or just someone who stumbled upon his build and wanted to ruin it?
28:15Sadly, we don't have those answers.
28:17What I can say though, is that I really hope Michael doesn't give up.
28:21And that next time, he builds something even more beautiful.
