00:32And for these two urban explorers that risk became very real.
00:38The pair set out to explore an abandoned building, excited to take on another location
00:44and see what had been left behind.

01:29one stage. All pigeons fighting. What is this? What is this? Is this a vent or a radio?
01:41I don't know. Ellipses or diamonds? Did it open?
02:05This place is a small wind tank.
02:11Shhh.
02:30It's full of pigeons.
02:36Once they arrived, they made their way inside and began exploring the rooms. The atmosphere
02:42inside was immediately unsettling. Old equipment from the buildings past was scattered throughout
02:48while rot and decay had slowly taken over the structure. But they continued deeper inside.
02:56Then things took a turn. Noises began echoing throughout the building. The pair stopped
03:03and listened, trying to work out where the sounds were coming from. Their first thought was
03:10obvious. Was someone else inside? Despite the concern, they continued exploring. But the
03:18noises didn't stop. I found the control room. I'll just turn the door on. Oil. Electric should
03:46make it working. I like lucky stairs so much.
04:05I think it's ditch time, bro. Where does that ladder go? I don't know. Because it goes down onto
04:10that roof, but then where does that roof go? Doesn't it just go down to the other side? I don't
04:15know.
04:15I don't know. Mainly
05:16There's a car parked outside.
05:19Subaru parked outside.
05:23Yeah, that's downstairs.
05:28There's a black Subaru parked.
05:31Just there.
05:39There's a car parked.
05:49Then the noises became louder.
05:52This time they were clear enough to make the pair seriously question whether they were alone.
05:58And then they noticed something outside.
06:02A car was parked nearby.
06:05That only made their suspicions worse.
06:08If someone was inside the building, that car could have belonged to them.
06:14At this point, the pair no longer felt safe.
06:18They decided there was no reason to take the risk and quickly made their way outside.
06:23But even after leaving the building, the tension didn't immediately disappear.
06:29I can hear them in there.
06:31I can hear someone in there.
06:38I prefer jumping off that way.
07:07They had no idea who could have been inside.
07:09or exactly what had been making those noises.
07:13Eventually, they left the location completely unsettled.
07:18It's a reminder that exploring an abandoned building isn't always about what happened there in the past.
07:26Sometimes, the biggest danger is what might still be there now.
07:30And when you take that first step inside, you never truly know what you're walking into.
07:40Josh is a well-known urban explorer.
07:43And in this video, he was joined by The Proper People, another pair who dedicate their free time to exploring
07:52abandoned places.
07:53What started as a chilling exploration of an abandoned hotel would eventually leave the entire group running for safety.
08:03In November 2015, the group set out to explore the abandoned hotel.
08:10With flashlights in hand, they made their way inside, ready to search each room and uncover whatever had been left
08:17behind.
08:20This place is messed up.
08:24So we had a nightclub, and over here is a bar.
08:27Now we're recording a nightclub in with flashlights.
08:30That's funny.
08:31Oh shit.
08:37I guess a fish tank? No? Oh no, it's not a fish tank.
08:43Yeah, there's some decorations.
08:47So here's the entrance to the hotel.
08:51Oh look at the chandelier.
08:52Is that chandelier you'll call that?
08:54Yeah.
08:54Damn, it's nice.
08:55Oh do they even have elevators?

08:57This is a serious hotel.
08:59The marble, the marble walls.

09:20And then there was a safe in here too.

09:24The hotel was already in a terrible state.
09:27The rooms were old and rotting,
09:30with the building giving off an unsettling atmosphere as they moved through it.
09:35But the higher they climbed,
09:37the more dangerous the situation could become.
09:42Eventually they reached the higher floors.
09:45That's when they started hearing something.
09:52There goes the church bells again.
09:55I'm gonna go off every 15 minutes.
09:59Yeah, let's go up.
10:00We're not gonna see every inch of this place at night.
10:13Alright.

10:17Alright, so right now we're on the third floor.
10:30Oh yeah, it is boarding.
10:33Look how the windows are boarded up.
10:36It does look, it does look like that.
10:37It's like they're trying to protect themselves from something.

10:46Because the higher up we go, the longer it's gonna take to get out of here if something happens.

11:15As we were heading back down to leave, we started hearing more noises that were louder than usual.
11:20We couldn't believe what happened next.

11:53At first, they weren't sure what they were hearing or where it was coming from.
11:57Then came a scream.
12:00A terrifying scream echoed through the abandoned hotel.
12:04The group didn't wait around to investigate.
12:06They immediately turned around and began running back through the floors, desperately trying to retrace their steps and find their
12:14way out of the building.
12:16What had started as a normal exploration had suddenly become a race to get outside.
12:24Thankfully, the group managed to make it out safely.
12:27But they were left with one question.
12:31What had actually made that scream?
12:34Was it a homeless person inside the abandoned hotel?
12:38Or could there have been something else lurking inside?
12:44The group wasn't willing to stick around long enough to find out.
12:48And honestly, would you have?
12:54Exploring abandoned places can be dangerous, but what John and Tim encountered during this exploration left them questioning exactly what
13:04could be lurking inside these forgotten places.
13:08Deep in the woods sat an old cabin.
13:12The cabin was already known for being haunted, and after being recommended the location by their friends, John and Tim
13:20decided to make the journey out there themselves.
13:23But even before they reached the building, the atmosphere was unsettling.
13:28The pair had to make their way through the dark woods with nothing around them but trees and darkness.
13:34The further they went, the more isolated they became.
13:38We've been told about this cabin that is out in the middle of the woods.
13:42Now, we're out tonight on a very frigid night, might I add, to try to find this cabin.
13:47Don't really have much of a back story.
13:49We know it's well over a hundred years old.
13:51They say it's still in pretty fair shape, considering how old it is, and it's kind of been just setting
13:56for a long time.
13:57Guys, we're going to try to find this.
13:58They gave us pretty good directions, but we've got to walk a little bit in the woods first.

14:03I hear a babbling brook.

14:05It's just turning dark on us.

15:37Standing alone deep in the woods, the building looked dark and abandoned.
15:42The pair made their way inside and began exploring.
15:46But they hadn't been inside for long when John suddenly heard something.

19:48was haunted but you know didn't really give any backstory to it so I don't know
19:50if it's a haunted place or not but now what was up the barn

20:12and leave as they walked away from the cabin they couldn't shake the eerie
20:18feeling that had followed them throughout the exploration deep in the middle of the
20:24woods a strange voice more unexplained noises and caution tape surrounding the
20:32building it almost felt like the place itself was warning them that they
20:38shouldn't be there would you have ignored the warning signs and kept exploring or
20:45would you have left with them?
