00:00In April of 2020, a kid named Noah decided to go truck camping in the forests of Sun River,
00:15Oregon. He was driving down the road when he thought he found a good spot and drove deep
00:19into the forest with his truck. His first night there, he was woken up to sounds outside. As he
00:26continued listening, he realized they were footprints, and from the pattern assumed it
00:30was a person. He grabbed his nearby GoPro and started filming.
00:36I'm currently sleeping in the back of my truck right now. I don't even know what time it is.
00:43And there's someone walking around my truck right now. If you can hear that, it's pretty loud.
00:52He's been walking around for like 20 minutes already. I don't really know what to do. I'm a little
01:03freaked out right now. And it's like pitch black outside. And like, this doesn't make any sense
01:10cause I parked somewhere where you couldn't see. No one was on that road. Wait, he's touching my
01:17truck. How am I supposed to get away? He's literally, he's literally walking. He's literally walking on my truck.
01:30The canopy, the back door's locked. I've never been so scared before ever. I don't think he knows that there's anyone in here.
01:43I'm so scared right now. He's literally peeking through the door right now.
01:50Whoever was out there knocks on the truck and tries the door handles, all while Noah sits inside,
01:54forced to just listen to it happen. Fortunately, he had his doors locked, so no one could get inside.
02:02After multiple minutes, footsteps are finally heard leaving.
02:05When it got light outside, Noah drove back to the road and back home.
02:10Later that morning, he found handprints all over his truck, specifically on his back window from
02:14someone trying to see inside, and a lot on his door handles from someone trying to get inside.
02:18Um, handprints there, a lot of scratches, stuff like that. Um, uh, dragging his finger on my side of my
02:28truck. Uh, well, looks like to be trying to get inside my truck. Um, that's really all I could tell
02:39from when he was walking around. More handprints trying to get in my truck. Um, at least the back canopy was
02:46locked, but, um, yeah, that was the result, so.
02:53For someone to even have been out there in the first place at that time of night is extremely odd,
02:58and it couldn't have been a police officer or anything because no one identified themselves.
03:03The person didn't even have a light, and this was in the middle of a pitch black forest.
03:08Noah never posted an update on the situation, suggesting that he never found out who was outside
03:13his truck that night. Kyle Burgess was on an early morning jog on a trail in Provo, Utah,
03:22when he thought he saw a baby bobcat on the trail up ahead of him. He immediately pulled out his phone
03:27and started recording, but it wasn't a bobcat, rather it was a baby cougar. The video then shows the mother
03:35other cougar coming into view.
03:40Oh.
03:43Oh.
03:44Oh.
03:45Oh.

03:46Oh.

03:50You!
03:50Oh!
03:51Rrgh!
03:52Rrgh!
03:53Rrgh!
03:55Rrgh!
03:56Rrgh!
03:58Rrgh!
03:58Oh.
04:00Oh.
04:01Oh.
04:02Oh!
04:03Oh.
04:04No! Get the f*** away! Get the f*** away! Go! Go! Go! No! No! Go away! Go away!
04:23Please go away! Nice and slow! Come on! No! Kyle is left in a standoff with the cougar as he slowly backs away, trying to scare it off with loud noises, but the cougar continues to follow him, and at times even lunges at him.
04:50At one point, Kyle turns his head away from the animal so as not to trip as he's backing up. This prompts the cougar to try and attack, getting within only feet of him.
04:59Go away! No, you s*** taste, dude! Trying to attack and your eyes are looking away from you! Dude! No, go away! Go away! No!
05:15No! Yeah, get the f*** away from me! Face!
05:22The encounter lasts for an entire six minutes. It ends when Kyle throws a large rock, scaring the animal into running away.
05:30Cougar encounters with hikers are extremely dangerous and can often result in a much worse outcome. Had Kyle tried to run or failed to look and sound intimidating, the animal's instincts to chase and commit to an attack would have kicked in.
05:37In February of 2013, a few residents of a neighborhood in Northern Oregon filed reports of strange noises coming from the forest.
05:44The noises were described as what sounded like eerie laughter. The noises were described as what sounded like eerie laughter. It was loud and echoed throughout the day.
05:51One of the residents that heard the nearby area. One of the residents that heard the sounds went outside to where they seemed to be coming from and started recording.

06:21Ha ha ha ha ha ha!
06:51Some think the noises are being made by foxes or coyotes, but others don't think so, saying
07:09coyotes for example have a much more canine-like shriek and aren't nearly as loud.
07:15It's still unclear when exactly was making the noise that night.
07:18Lisa is a girl who owns a YouTube channel where she documents her life living in a van.
07:26She travels across North America, recording her experience as she goes.
07:31The videos almost always follow more of a vlog style,
07:34showing the different forests or places she stays at overnight, or the journeys to get there.
07:39However, in February of 2022, something different was uploaded.
07:43Lisa was sleeping in her van, when she woke up to the sound of knocking right next to her ear.
07:50It was 4.30 in the morning, and someone was outside.
07:53She sat there frozen, not knowing what to do.
07:57The knock then came again, and this time she uttered out a confused hello.
08:02There was no response.
08:04It would be completely silent for the next 15 minutes.
08:08Eventually, she heard footsteps coming back, and this time grabbed her camera to record.
08:13Somebody's back here again.
08:20I hear footprints.
08:23Hello?
08:24Hello?
08:25How can I help you?
08:29It's 4.30 in the morning. I don't feel safe.
08:32Who are you?
08:35There was no response.
08:37She quietly got up and went to the front of her van to look outside.
08:41In the distance, there were headlights.
08:44The car backs away, and so she turns the camera to herself and begins explaining what just happened.
08:49A few minutes into this, and she hears footsteps again.
08:52I hear footprints.
08:53I hear footprints.
09:00Hear that?
09:03Yeah, somebody was just here again three times now.
09:07The third time I looked out, they were walking on foot.
09:10I seen them walking, and they hid behind the tree there, and then they went to a car.
09:19The same car that was here earlier.
09:21Well, that was back, and then it backed away and left again three times in one night.
09:26This time, they didn't knock, though.
09:29They were just walking around.
09:31I could hear them walking around the van.
09:34When it got in line outside later that morning, she got out of her van and found footprints all around it.
09:39So, I come up this morning, and you can see footprints.
09:43Look at this one.
09:44This is mine.
09:45I'll show you.
09:45There's mine.
09:48See?
09:50They were actually...
09:52There's some more.
09:54Look at that.
09:55A lot of viewers believe the man was simply trying to steal valuables from the van.
10:04But why then come back two more times after you heard someone talking from inside?
10:09It's likely the man had worse intentions.
10:15This video was taken by a mountain biker in Vancouver, Canada.
10:20He had sent up his phone camera to get a shot of him riding down a part of the mountain.
10:23Just as he comes down and passes the camera, he suddenly hits the brakes and starts calling out.
10:29He then comes back in the frame, walking back up the mountain with his bike.
10:33As he does so, he keeps looking back behind him.
10:37Blocking his path was a bear, who was now following him.
10:44Hey.
10:45Hey.
10:46Hey.
10:53Hey.
11:03Hey.
11:04Hey.
11:07Hey.
11:08Hey.
11:13Hey.
11:14Hey.
11:16Hey.
11:19The kid uses his bike to make himself look bigger.
11:21He hits it on the ground a few times, causing the bear to retreat back to the camera, where it knocks it over.
11:27The bear then stands over the camera for a while longer.
11:31Finally, it retreats completely, allowing the kid to retrieve his phone and get back to safety.
11:36On September 6th, 2016, a Reddit post was made linking to a video that claimed to feature a weird noise from the woods.
11:47Included was text that read,
11:49I put the kids to bed tonight and heard this loud, really bizarre sound coming from the woods outside my house.
11:56It lasted about 15 to 20 minutes.
11:59We have a handful of neighbors nearby, but this was too loud to be coming from them.
12:03It seemed to be coming from the direction of a nearby AM radio tower, but can those towers make noises like this?
12:09I googled around, but couldn't find anything similar.
12:14This is the video.
12:15Commenters immediately started speculating what the sound could have been.
12:38One of them suggested it could have been the sound of high winds passing through a nearby cell tower,
12:43the metal-on-metal being what created the eerie tone.
12:46But the poster replied saying there was almost no wind that night,
12:50and even on days when it was windy, he never heard this sound.
12:54Another said the sound was extremely consistent with what it sounds like to drill into a strut or support that's made of high-carbon steel,
13:00but said that it would be weird to be doing this that late into the night.
13:03To this day, it's still unknown what the sound in the video actually is.
