00:17Two years ago, the 71-year-old, who doesn't drink and has never worked behind a bar, bought

00:24I don't know some of the cans that have got alcohol in it.
00:27I'm not sure what sort of alcohol it is in.

00:31The country pub just north of Bundaberg was meant to be her retirement plan, but the former

00:38There's nothing for her on a Tuesday when the delivery of alcohol comes through and she's
00:42thrown around cartons.
00:43She's a real goer, and you can't stop her.
00:47The unlikely publican dubbed the Granny from the Yanni by her patrons has gained a following

00:56As soon as they come walking through the door, it's like, Mum, quick, come, and take photos.
01:02T-shirts have been made in her honour, and she even has her own cardboard cutout.
01:07The second we met her, I felt like she was my Granny as well, honestly.
01:11And so cute how she's got pink in her hair.
01:13Patrons say the family has revitalised the 125-year-old pub.
01:18And while Barb isn't overly keen on the spotlight, she believes her social media following is
01:23a testament to the community.
01:25They're like an extended family.
01:27I worry about them if I haven't seen them.
01:29I don't need to tell them if they go on holiday so I don't fret.
