00:00Look, it's Nick Evans, the brave snake catcher from Durban.
00:06Black Mambas are his favourite.
00:09Got him!
00:10But really, he just loves all snakes.
00:12Wow, what a stunner!
00:14Which is a good thing, because there are snakes everywhere in Durban.
00:20Here's what happened the other day, when Nick received a call from the police
00:23to come and rescue a python, no less.
00:26Police often are the ones that phone me.
00:28I had police phone me for a crocodile once.
00:31Of course, trusty cameraman Tyrone was there too.
00:34So we get this call from the camper down about a python in a chicken coop.
00:38Hello, good.
00:42Most of my python calls are for snakes that are in chicken coops or around chicken coops.
00:48Desperate for a python call though, we've had everything, mambas.
00:52So we arrive there and quickly get escorted down into where the chicken coop is
00:56by the police and the owner of the property.
00:58This morning we got a call from a member of the community,
01:01reporting that there was a snake in the fowl run.
01:04Early in the morning I go to the toilet and then I come out and go check here.
01:09And I check.
01:10See the snake, the big snake.
01:12The members responded and determined that it was a python.
01:15And we contacted the relevant authorities, Nick, to come and assist us in apprehending.
01:22I'm not a chicken but I can...
01:37And we can't really see much, you know, it's a bit of a small chicken coop.
01:44And we can't really see what's going on.
01:46So Nick kind of tries to climb through which was, I mean, this hole was tiny.
01:50Oh yeah, okay, it's here.
01:57It's a little guy.
01:58Pass him.
01:59Yeah.
02:00Come here.
02:01And obviously I wanted to get the shots out.
02:03I also wanted to go in there.
02:04So I climb through, pass my camera to Nick.
02:06You want to hang?
02:08Just grab it.
02:09Hey, it's so small.
02:11But he's eaten.
02:13It's beautiful.
02:15Look at that.
02:16Hi.
02:17Hi.
02:18Hi.
02:19Hi.
02:20Hi.
02:21Hi.
