00:00Shamrocks! Langer saves day as lucky Knicks survive against depleted Mavs.
00:05You know, congrats on the first roll win of the season, but I can't believe it took the Mavs not having Kyrie, Anthony Davis, and Cooper Flagg,
00:13plus this iffy call at the end for the Knicks to pull off that roll win.
00:18Rively, lively to Williams. Williams on the track.
00:20He's on the deep left. He's on the track. They wave it off. They wave it off.
00:24Look, a win is a win, but they absolutely got bailed out against a bad and depleted Mavs team.
00:31And I wonder, at 1-4, on the road, is that something that's going to come back and hurt this team from reaching its ultimate goal,
00:39which is an NBA championship.
00:41Winning masks everything, but they're now at Orlando, they're at Brooklyn, and then at Charlotte before you get back to the Garden.
00:49They need to win out on this road trip for some confidence.
00:52And there's two things about Tibbs' Knicks that I'm starting to see with Mike Brown's Knicks that needs to be nipped in the bud and fixed ASAP.
01:01They were only 1-for-6 from the charity stripe in the final 30 seconds last night.
01:06Does that sound familiar to you?
01:08It's because they missed free throws and crunch time, and that's what did them in in the Pacers series in the playoffs.
01:13And they played with their food last night.
01:16Last season, there were way too many close wins and even losses to teams with worse records.
01:23Now, I do like how the bench is getting buckets.
01:26This year, they've been absolutely on fire.
01:28Shamit hit some big shots in the clutch, and Deuce showed up.
01:32The bench has absolutely done their job.
01:34But there's still some, and no, there's still a lot of things I want this team to clean up before we get to the grit part of the season.
