00:00This is Dia Amanda, six years old, trapped in her own body.
00:07She cannot speak, cannot cry for help, cannot stop the spasms.
00:13Every day is a storm, every movement a battle.
00:18Her parents, Norliana Mohamad Safiya and Saiful Sujat Sulaiman, watch helpless.
00:25A rare disorder, GNA-01. It twists her body, steals her speech, steals her rest.
00:34The worst agony isn't the disorder, it's knowing you can do nothing to stop it.
00:42There is hope. A tiny device smaller than her palm can calm the flare-up inside her brain.
00:49It won't cure her, it won't give her back her childhood,
00:53but it can give her peace, rest, stillness.
00:58It costs 150,000 ringgit for the device.
01:02250,000 ringgit total. Surgery, hospital care, post-op.
01:08Suriana Welfare Society saw her suffering.
01:12Its advisor James Nyagam and executive director Rachel Ho couldn't look away.
01:16They jumped first. Now they need Malaysians to build the parachute.
01:22Every ringgit is a chance for her to rest.
01:25Every share is a chance for hope.
01:29Tonight, other kids will dream.
01:32Amanda will lie awake, fighting a storm she never asked for.
01:38Help Amanda find peace. Donate now. Share her story.
