00:00That's your friends, you'll like it!
00:04The smallest but mostly the biggest character in the game is Monster Girl.
00:14She's an adult woman in a always growing younger teenage body who can also transform into a
00:22gigantic green hulking monster.
00:25I don't look it, but I'm 24 years old.
00:28Favorite thing about Monster Girl is her attitude.
00:32Take no crap from anybody, snarky.
00:34She's both sassy and capable.
00:37I think one of my favorite moments of Monster Girl from the show, Rex is running his mouth off
00:43and she very quickly handles the misconception that he has of her.
00:48Aww, look at her, she's adorable!
00:54Still think I'm adorable?
00:56No!
01:01For me personally, I want big characters on screen.
01:04I always loved playing the huge hulking, smash-em-up character.
01:08Monster Girl was one of actually, I think, the easier characters to translate into a fighting game
01:13because she's a big gigantic monster. That screams like, let me punch something.
01:18There's just a bunch of weight and momentum that's coming right at you that is really gonna hurt.
01:24In the show, Amanda, Monster Girl's alter ego, is one of the biggest shit talkers.
01:28Isn't there like an age requirement for this ride?
01:30I don't know, you're here. Isn't there a dick size requirement?
01:33I believe she can be a cerebral assassin. She gets underneath people's skin.
01:38Really like Monster Girl's taunt, she sort of hunches over and she does this little motion
01:43where she says, too small.
01:44She's a brawler striker. She has a lot of armored moves.
01:52She's throwing really powerful, slightly slower sort of uppercuts. She's smashing people into the ground.
01:58She does this charge from across the screen. It leads to a really nice satisfying wall slam
02:04where you can then use that as an opportunity to juggle characters.
02:07She's got this great attack where she like runs into someone, grabs them and throws them. And I think
02:12she says like, where you going nowhere? And her torch special, just a flurry of just devastating heavy
02:20punches. Her down heavy where she grabs the defender and throws them up into the air. It's a really good
02:27moment where you can get a combo started. Someone's jumping in, trying to hit her with attack.
02:32She downs specials, grabs them and just plants them like a flower into the ground.
02:41Her ult, she has this moment of just like sassiness where she actually, after jumping up into the air to
02:47deal like a final blow, turns back into her Amanda form.
02:51It definitely feels like it harkens back to a little bit of like the, the baddest and coolest
03:05of like pro wrestling sort of stuff. I think it reflects her character just so well.
03:12She has a lot of cool combo paths and routes that you can take. Using boosted specials within your combos,
03:18you can do longer combo chains. Using your team well to find those zoning moments and having
03:23Monster Girl get in and just lock down the character so you can set up some really fun plays.
03:28Any lineup that you want to put nothing but immense pressure on someone's like,
03:33pair her with Battle Beast. So pairing her with Beast and that sort of like mace swing that he's got,
03:38calling in Monster Girl and then having her run into you and just like destroy the enemy,
03:43that sounds like a really cool team up. Monster Girl is badass. I'm so excited with how everything turned out.
