00:00The character I think I'd least like to face in a physical fight is Omni-Man.

00:10He'd probably smash me through a building of some sort.

00:19Omni-Man is such a powerful character, even compared to other Viltrumites.

00:26We were just trying to capture his brutality.

00:28His brutal fight style is very evident.

00:30There's no frills in his gameplay.

00:32He doesn't have wasted motion, he doesn't equip unnecessarily.

00:35He just conveys the strength of all the years that he has spent fighting as a Viltrumite.

00:41What we wanted to do was give him techniques, give him moves that are powerful, that deal lots of damage.

00:46It should feel like a bit of a heartfelt battle to fight this guy.

00:49I think we just wanted Omni-Man to be really strong and badass and fun to play.

00:53What drives the story of Invincible sort of as a property forward is that father-son relationship between Mark and Omni-Man.

01:08A lot of that comes through with unique voice lines like intros and outros.

01:12I looked up to you my whole life, but you're just a lying piece of shit.

01:17Your life is the blink of an eye to a Viltrumite.

01:21You barely know me.

01:23It's that father-son dynamic where they still love and care for each other, but they are at odds with their morality.

01:30I also love his moment where he's considering killing his only son and reconsiders and flies away.

01:38You've got those two sides of Omni-Man where he's just brutal, a mind of steel, and this superhuman side of him.

01:48His brutal style of fighting is so evident in all his gameplay movesets.

01:53Omni-Man is one of our balanced characters, so he actually has an anti-air, he's got like this uppercut style move.

01:59He's got a projectile where he claps his hands and a big wave comes out.

02:03That's called the Thume, and then when you boost it, it's called the Cuffin.

02:06We're pulling from when he fights Cecil.

02:12We have this move where he comes flying from above and he's clamped your head into the floor repeatedly.

02:16I love the way he just crushes.

02:18And it just feels really, really good, especially when you boost it.

02:22He does the overhead and he follows it up with like a series that just smashes where he just blasts him into the ground.

02:28It feels very Omni-Man, it's just satisfying.

02:30There's this one move where he does this like trio of hits and he says,

02:34Not even trying yet!

02:37He probably isn't trying and that's terrifying.

02:40We're pulling directly from the show as well from when he's beating Mark, ping-ponging him around the sky.

02:45On his Super 2, he says very confidently,

02:48Pay attention!

02:52Learn something!

02:53I think that really sells Omni-Man, who he is.

02:56Definitely check out his ultimate, it's so good.

02:59It's called the Destroyer of Worlds.

03:01And there's a sequence during the Flaxen fight where he takes the opposing general to his homeworld and just utterly destroys him.

03:08So he sees him holding the general's body, blasting through a series of buildings.

03:12But there was also another beat that happened at the end of that sequence which shows him holding this mountain over their scientists.

03:19It's that whole sequence all smashed together and it's fucking epic.

03:26You don't seem to understand.

03:35This battle isn't yours to win.

03:41That's cool, that's just cool.

03:43I would put him as an anchor, the last character on a team.

03:47He's got great.

03:48He's just been neater.

03:49Take advantage of these moves that he has that work well on their own, that are also somewhat risky.

03:54Obviously we gave him some really powerful moves that are really cheap and players are going to enjoy using them, but they have a drawback.

03:59They are punishable on block, for example.

04:01We gave him incredible air mobility, so he's really fast, he can close the distance really fast.

04:05But it's a little bit more of a technical thing that you have to learn to do.

04:08I definitely recommend playing as him.

04:10I'm really excited for people to be able to get their hands on Omni-Man and really feel powerful.

04:15I think that he is going to be beating the crap out of people.

04:18He's zipping around, he's punching people, boom, boom, you're done.

04:22Now I've proven I'm the strongest among us.
