00:00What's the Achilles heel of the Patriots?
00:03What's going to derail them?
00:05Slow start.
00:06Slow start in the game.
00:07And I think it starts with the defense.
00:09I think the offense at times is ready to go at the beginning of the game
00:12because you're able to script things
00:13and you sort of have a plan of what you're going to attack.
00:16I don't really know what they really want to attack on defense
00:18because they don't play a ton of man
00:20unless they're going to totally flip the script here in the playoffs when they start.
00:23Or maybe you get down to Baltimore and you play Buffalo in those two big games
00:26and all of a sudden you become a man team on defense.
00:28I think they're predominantly a zone team.
00:30I think teams know that.
00:32They're able to get in rhythm early in the game.
00:33But they're able to switch some things and go to different man coverages
00:36to where, okay, we can adjust to win a game.
00:39I think a slow start getting down by 7 or getting down 10-0,
00:41that's the one thing that could derail this team
00:43because they really haven't had to fight back
00:45from like a double-digit deficit much at all this year.
00:51I mean, that is adversity facing adversity in your face
00:53where we lose, we're out, we're eliminated.
00:55I'm talking like round one.
00:56Getting down 10-zip in round one.
00:59If you don't have the bye.
01:01Maybe this is why you have to have the bye.
01:04But I do worry, especially with Milt Williams here,
01:07you know, going to be out for a while.
01:09Hey, this thing could be six weeks.
01:10We don't know that.
01:11Like, he's going to miss four games.
01:13Yeah, the hope should be you get him back for the playoffs.
01:14It's four to six weeks is the injury, and he's a big guy.
01:18I worry about big guys with that weight on it
01:19because it's a lot different than a guy that's light
01:21because you can kind of tape that thing up tight, shoot it up, and go.
01:24Bigger guys, it's a little tougher
01:26because you've got that big ball of their joint, you know,
01:28going up between the two bones and the legs.
01:30That's how the high ankle sprain happens.
01:33He's not going to get the surgery.
01:34That's stupid if he did.
01:35I wouldn't zip tie it, you know, or whatever the heck that's called.
01:39Oh, you think it might be that bad?
01:40I think it's like a third-degree high ankle sprain.
01:42I don't know that, but I think he – and this is what I did.
01:46Like, when I had mine, like, 50 years ago, it felt like I broke my ankle.
01:51But I got up and hobbled off the field like he did.
01:54Then I'm on the sideline.
01:55I'm standing there, and Scar was the interim head coach.
01:57And I'm like pushing – I said, I think I broke my ankle.
02:00It felt like I broke my ankle.
02:01He goes, oh, Jesus, okay, we're going to get x-rayed.
02:03So they put me on a car that took me and got x-rayed.
02:06They said, it's not broken.
02:06But we didn't have the imaging and the MRI right there to tell that it's a high ankle sprain.
02:10I'm like, dude, I can't – my toe, I can't go up on it.
02:13I broke it.
02:14There's chips in there somewhere.
02:15It's not.
02:16Here's the x-ray.
02:17So what we're going to do is we're going to shoot it up.
02:19We're going to tape it up tight.
02:20You wear a size 13, we're going to put a size 15 shoe on you because you put so much tape on it.
02:25I got out there, and I tried.
02:26I was able to move around when I got out there, but, man, you couldn't feel anything.
02:30You couldn't be effective.
02:31Like, he tried to come back in the game and be effective.
02:33Like, that tells me it's a high ankle sprain.
02:36Like, that tells me it's a high ankle sprain.
