00:00What have you made and what is the league saying about the way Drake Mays played in the playoffs versus the way that he played in the regular season?
00:08I think it's like sort of it's it's interesting. And I've thought this way for for over a week now like that they it feels like they're playing the way we thought they would play before the season.
00:23You know, and what you hear when you talk to people about who the Patriots are, they're now most people would tell you that they're not overly talented.
00:32Like the other like the Seahawks are the more talented team going into the Super Bowl.
00:37And I don't know there'd be a whole lot of argument, but the Patriots are very sound. They're balanced.
00:41I do. I am starting to think we're underrating their talent, and I do think that they hear about how every other team is more talented.
00:50And that's why you keep hearing from those guys. You know, I was walking off the field with Milton Williams in Denver.
00:56He's the best. And Milt said to me, like, the only thing he wanted to talk about was how everybody was talking about how great Denver's offensive line was over and over and over again.
01:08And, you know, I think that they're hearing like where the last players take that players don't want to like football teams don't want to be Cinderella.
01:15You know what I mean? Like, they want to be the biggest, baddest dudes on the block.
01:21And so I do think and I and I and I am I do wonder a little bit if they wind up winning this game that a one team.
01:29This is the to me, like maybe the primary similarity between this team and the one team.
01:34Most of America thought that team sucked coming into the Super Bowl and they were going to get their doors blown off.
01:41And the reality of it was that that team was way more talented than we realized at the time.
01:49We just didn't know the players yet.
01:51And so that was Mike Vrabel himself.
01:54That was Teddy Bruschi.
01:56That was lawyer Malloy.
01:57That was Ty Law.
01:59That was Troy Brown.
02:00That was Matt Light, who was a rookie at the time more than anything else.
02:04That was Tom Brady, who was a game manager then or seen that way.
02:09And so, you know, eventually now you look back at that team and it's like, well, that team actually wasn't devoid of talent.
02:16And I do wonder if because of the amount of things that they hit on in free agency in the draft, that maybe we'll look back on this team and they were a little more talented than we thought, win or lose.
