A bridal stylist came up with a daring way to prove her curled hairstyles hold on wedding days – by sending a friend on a rollercoaster with one of her looks. Hanne Tangen Johansen, from Olso, Norway, is regularly asked by brides if her curls will survive for an entire wedding day. She believes the questions are routed in the fact many people in Arctic countries have fine, silky hair, so woman are often led to believe that kind of hair can "never hold a curl." Hanne said many stylists in Norway talk their brides out of a loose updo and make them wear a full updo, blaming the bride's hair for not holding on to the curls. But she wanted to prove she could make any client hold a curl so decided to put her theory to the test. Hanne called on the help of her friend, Anine Aaseth, and the pair headed to a theme park on October 3, where Anine lined up for a wooden rollercoaster. As the pair made their way around the ride, Hanne recorded the back of Anine's curls, and after leaving the ride, the model's hair looked as good as new. Hanne was always confident in the result, and for the next four hours the pair rode another 13 rides, with Anine's hair barely moving.
