00:00Ukraine President Vladimir Zelensky is set to visit Turkey on Wednesday in a bid to revive
00:06peace talks with Russia. He says his team is working to resume prisoner war exchanges with
00:12Moscow, though he did not specify who he will meet during this trip.
00:18Zelensky made the remarks shortly before meeting Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez to discuss
00:23funding for weapons. Earlier, the Ukrainian leader signed an accord with France to acquire
00:29up to 100 fighter jets and other military hardware, including drones. Negotiations to end the war have
00:35stalled since three rounds of direct talks in Istanbul earlier this year failed to produce a
00:40breakthrough. Prisoner exchanges and the repatriation of fallen soldiers' bodies have been the only
00:46tangible results, with the last exchange taking place in early October. Last week, Kremlin spokesman
00:52Dmitry Peskov said Russia remained open to negotiations to resolve the war, but blamed
00:57Kiev and Europe for the lack of progress.
