00:00all right so the Steelers beat the Bengals relatively easily yesterday and the story
00:04really coming out of that is twofold on the side of the Steelers it's will Aaron Rodgers be able
00:11to play next week with a wrist injury and on the side of the Bengals Jacob as I'm sure that you've
00:16looked at this video many times I'm not really sure if Jamar Chase did what everyone is alleging
00:20he said he did which is spit on another player if he did he's going to miss time for the Bengals as
00:25well yeah I think this second edition of spit gate after we had Jalen Carter and Dak Prescott in week
00:33one where Dak Prescott spit at the ground Jalen Carter thought he was spitting at him so he spit
00:37at Dak he got ejected they treated that as a one game suspension basically so what's going to happen
00:43with Jamar Chase if they do rule that he spit in the video and the Bengals are going to be without him
00:48it's going to be really hard for them to get a win next week against the Patriots and you know they're
00:54already facing a massive uphill battle to get anywhere near the playoff race without Joe Burrow
00:58so it feels like the Bengals season is probably winding down and the only excitement they have
01:04to look forward to is Burrow potentially returning as early as Thanksgiving but we'll see if they end
01:09up sticking to that timeline if you know they're completely out of it as for the Steelers Aaron
01:15Rodgers injury will be intriguing to watch it sounds like he has a small fracture in his non-throwing
01:21wrist so he might be able to play through that if he can grip the ball well enough but it's one of
01:28those things where if you're the Steelers do you really want a 41 year old quarterback out there with
01:32a bulky wrist trying to will you to the playoffs I'm not sure I would trust him I'd rather see him on
01:39the sideline for a couple weeks just to get a little bit healthier we saw Mason Rudolph is capable of
01:44keeping that offensive float and let's be honest Aaron Rodgers hasn't been all that explosive this year
01:49he's been a good dink and dunk distributor but Mason Rudolph could certainly do what Rodgers can
01:54do at this point in his career and as long as he can avoid turnovers then the Steelers should have
01:58a chance to win games if Rodgers needs to be sidelined so I'll be interested to see what approach
02:02they take with Rodgers if he'll push to play but I think the Steelers will be okay if he's out short
02:09term he's out long term it's going to be harder for them to probably make any sort of noise in the
02:14playoffs than it already would be
