00:00Closing today with some heartfelt news, as Dancing with the Stars pro Maxim Chmorkovsky
00:05has safely made it to Poland after he was forced into hiding in his home country of Ukraine.
00:11Max joined over half a million Ukrainian refugees who have fled the country after it has been victim
00:16of the ruthless attacks of Russia. The professional dancer updated his followers on Instagram after he
00:22successfully fled the capital, Kiev. The 42-year-old, whose wife, Dancing with the Stars pro
00:28Peter Murgatoid, has been asking for prayers for his safe return, revealed at first it feels
00:33manageable, but it gets a lot worse when it actually comes time to boarding the train.
00:38Long story, but all I can say now is that I'm a big man with nothing but a backpack and it's
00:43traumatizing. Max explained that he's currently staying in a cabin, which is usually occupied by
00:48three people with four adults and seven kids, and that his train wagon usually fits 30, but they were
00:54told 135 people would be coming on board. He also noted that there were people everywhere. It was
01:00sweaty and claustrophobic. We're so thankful that Max's train has made it safely out of Ukraine and
01:05into Poland, where he can hopefully make his way back to his wife and kids in the U.S.
01:10We're continuing to pray for all Ukrainians and hope for peace.
