Do you feel safe on the streets when it gets dark earlier? Do your habits change once the evenings start drawing in?
Transcript
00:00I don't really feel safe when walking around once it gets darker at night.
00:06However, I don't really let it faze me.
00:09I'm quite a bold personality, bold character, so it doesn't really faze me.
00:12I'd just be walking anywhere, but, yeah, I feel like it's no secret.
00:15There's a lot of crying.
00:17I wouldn't go anywhere that doesn't have streetlights, for example.
00:21I think you're just a bit more cautious when it's darker
00:24because, you know, there's not as many people around.
00:26And you always say to me to make sure you're in a public area,
00:29staying somewhere where it's brightly lit.
00:31Or I'd often choose to drive instead of walking somewhere when it's darker.
00:37I'm very concerned about how unsafe it's getting.
00:39I mean, I only go out wearing trousers with zip pockets
00:44because I'm worried about someone snatching my phone on my wallet or something.
00:47So, yeah, I wish this government would focus more about crime in the country.
00:52Once I get used to the winter and it's 4pm and it's dark,
00:55I'm just like, OK, this is my normal and I feel quite safe and secure.
00:59At that moment.
00:59At that moment.
