Crime reflections: What measures would you like to see?

Is the government doing enough to tackle rising crime rates - why/why not? What measures would you like to see to make you feel safer on our streets?

00:00There's been a huge increase in knife crime within the youth, I must say that.

00:05A lot of, like, people are dying on these streets almost daily and it's mad.

00:08And there's also incredible drug use as well from youngers and the elders alike.

00:12If there's not enough police on the streets, why not get more police?

00:19Because the crime on the street is, all of it just getting ignored.

00:25Probably more street lighting and CCTV.

00:28I think, like, there should be more security because, you know how some people, like, they don't have, like, food and that.

00:34So they decide to, like, steal it instead because they don't have money.

00:37So maybe they should go into shelters.

00:39I'd like to see more safety, more police on the streets, you know.

00:48Would I like to see more done? I feel fairly safe. I live in London.

00:52I don't live in the nicest part of London, but I feel generally safe.

00:55But maybe that's just me. I don't know if my perception's the same as everybody else's.
