Climate protesters demand to be heard as they march on COP30 with costumes and drums

00:21After two years without public demonstrations during COPS,

00:27this is a new era. It's very motivating.

00:32It's very engaging to have civil society on the streets once again.

00:37And given that the planet has already overcome a heating of 1.5 degrees Celsius during the year,

00:52it is urgent more than ever that civil society is mobilized.

01:22It's very important to know what we are fighting for.

01:27There's no other place right now that get together so many people to fight for the same thing.

01:35And that's just so important to the point where we are now,

01:39that we demonstrate what we are fighting for.

01:43That we have a voice, that there are people here,

01:45that are real people that are fighting, that are living,

01:48that are living this place, that are living with all the amenities, all the problems.

01:53But, it's a new era.

01:55Now, people, in our global marches over the climate,

01:58we're in a process of fighting.
