00:23Good morning. So paano ka nagsimula sa mundo ng pagninegosyo?
00:27So I studied and graduated at Thames with a business entrepreneurship course.
00:32So we are really required to have a business before we graduate.
00:37Then I started with the pack meals and we also offered the pack meals for the corporate world,
00:43like the rice and the ulam.
00:44But I got pregnant early.
00:46So after I graduate, I got pregnant.
00:49So the pack meal stopped.
00:51Then it continued with my sister's shawai business.
00:54Then my mom and my sister focuses on wholesaling.
00:58Then during pandemic when my mom and sister is like debating na parang binabarat kasi wala kaming name.
01:05Doon na po nag-start.
01:05Sa sabi ko, bakit hindi natin siya i-benta na sa mismong ending circle.
01:10Sa mundo ng pagninegosyo ng shawai,
01:12ang sabi mo, kayo mismo ang gumagawa.
01:14Usually pag wholesale, napakaraming orders.
01:17How do you deal with that kind of struggle?
01:20Importante yung process, strict process and scheduling.
01:23So pag may pumasak na orders, like kung bulk orders, we do a cut-off at least 2 to 3
01:28days.
01:29Melissa here, she really has a strong sense of determination when it comes to doing business.
01:35Kasi talagang you're really venturing into different ones.
01:38From pack meals down to having your own canteen, physical shop for the frozen shawai.
01:44Other people, when they want to open business, they're really scared to open one.
01:48Kasi ang unang nilang iisipin ay marami nang gumagawa niyan.
01:53Pangalawa, kikita ba ko dyan?
01:54So what is your advice sa mga kanegosyo natin?
01:57Sa akin is, as long as you do have your support system,
02:01kasi marami talagang papasok na magda-down.
02:03And yung tiwala mo sa sirily mo, that you can do it in your product itself.
02:08Trust for yourself and for your product and business.
02:10And make sure it is your hobby.
02:12Kasi minsan napapagod yung iba, ayaw na.
02:16Kasi hindi naman nila habis.
02:17So nagiging trabaho siya.
02:19So sa akin, napagsasabay ko si corporate and business.
02:21Kasi pag-stress na ako kay corporate,
02:23nagiging labasan ko ng stressy business.
02:26Kasi technically kay business, nakakapagod siya physically.
02:30Pero hindi siya mentally kasi nag-e-edger.
02:32So you're not yet full-time with business?
02:34May corporate job ka pa rin?
02:35Wow!
02:37Okay, so first time ko, ano?
02:39Kasi usually, they will leave their corporate job to focus on the business.
02:43Pero ikaw, pinagsabay mo.
02:45I mean, I already have a partner na supportive naman.
02:48However, kasi parang feeling ko, my parents is really not as well off.
02:54So technically, we really need to strive hard.
02:56And I do have that goal na one day, I would be able to,
03:01all the things I wasn't able to have when I was a child.
03:04I used to have it also with my daughter, along with my parents.
03:07So I wanted to really strive hard, not only for me, for my daughter,
03:11but for my mom, or my family actually, my dad and my sister na,
03:15na-sacrifice din yung time nila.
03:17Because if I started my life, not as easy as the ordinary.
03:26Ang tagumpay sa negosyo ay di nasusukat sa laki ng simula,
03:29kundi sa tapang na magsimula.
03:31Kaya huwag matakot sumubok dahil bawat malaking negosyo
03:35ay nagsimula rin sa isang maliit na hakbang.
03:38Kita-kitsulad mga kanegosyo, marami pang kwento,
