Oregon Ducks Coach Dan Lanning discusses their run game against Iowa and how important it was. Lanning talked about how they needed to run the ball because of the weather conditions and how strong their running backs were.

00:00Yeah, I mean, we felt like it mattered and we felt like obviously with the conditions

00:14today, well, we came out the first drive and threw it three times and that wasn't necessarily

00:19It was it was based on the box that they had, but we said we got to go win by by the way

00:22we run the ball and our running backs ran extremely hard, you know, tonight I got a

00:26feeling, you know, Noah's gonna have a couple ice packs on them on the flight home, right?

00:30The way those guys ran and they blocked really well, but we wanted to have a variety of run

00:35We've, you know, we heard the noise all week about how they don't give up runs and we just

00:39made note of that and we wanted to be able to run the ball effectively in this game and
