00:00In the latest developments surrounding the high-profile legal dispute between Blake Lively
00:04and Justin Baldoni, both sides are facing pivotal moments in court, from Baldoni's push
00:09to have Lively's $161 million lawsuit dismissed to Lively's recent courtroom win against
00:16a PR firm tied to the case.
00:19Actor and director Justin Baldoni has filed a formal request asking a judge to toss out
00:23Blake Lively's $161 million lawsuit against him.
00:27According to court documents obtained by Page Six, Baldoni argues that Lively's claims,
00:32including sexual harassment, retaliation, and conspiracy, cannot be proven.
00:36He further contends that her alleged financial losses, totaling over $161 million, are speculative
00:43and imaginary, and therefore not recoverable under the law.
00:47In her lawsuit, Lively claims Baldoni's actions cause substantial harm to her career and businesses,
00:53including losses from acting, producing, and endorsements, as well as financial setbacks
00:58for her haircare brand, Blake Brown, and beverage line Betty Buzz and Betty Booze.
01:04She also alleges that a smear campaign led to tens of millions of negative online impressions,
01:09damaging her reputation by an estimated $34 million.
01:12Meanwhile, Lively recently scored a significant legal win in a related case involving Jed Wallace
01:18and his PR firm, Street Relations Inc., both reportedly connected to Baldoni.
01:23A judge dismissed Wallace's defamation lawsuit against Lively, ruling that the Texas court
01:28lacked jurisdiction to hear the case.
01:30It remains unclear whether Wallace plans to refile in another state.
01:34In her December 2024 filing, Lively accused Baldoni of retaliating against her sexual harassment
01:41complaints by orchestrating an online smear campaign, allegations Baldoni has repeatedly
01:46denied.
01:47Baldoni's attorney responded, saying the dismissal of claims against Wallace shows that allegations
01:52of any smear campaign are unsupported and that the remaining defendants look forward
01:57to proving there is no merit to Lively's case.
02:00Lively's December 2024 lawsuit accuses Baldoni, her It Ends With Us co-star and director, of
02:06sexual harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, emotional distress, invasion of privacy, and
02:12lost wages.
02:14She alleges Baldoni harassed her during filming, and later hired a crisis management team to destroy
02:19her reputation after a meeting to address his alleged behavior.
02:23In January, Baldoni countersued Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, for $400 million, claiming
02:29defamation and extortion.
02:32He also filed a $250 million libel lawsuit against the New York Times, which first reported
02:37Lively's allegations.
02:39Both cases were dismissed in June.
02:41Meanwhile, Lively and Baldoni continue to battle it out in court, with a trial date set for March
02:462026.
02:47With multiple lawsuits, countersuits, and a high-stakes trial on the horizon, this Hollywood legal saga
02:53is far from over.
02:54And why?

02:57But I'm not sure where he makes it clear.
02:57And it's already a case of a criminal suit.
02:59I don't think they're inside.
03:00I'm sure the 2-wish lab is allowed to look at it, it's already an obvious identity.
03:01Okay.
03:02How do I have to look at that?
03:03So I'll try to get that careful., and let me explain to this story now.
03:04Now, I'll give you a load of information on my mind, and I'm sure I'll
03:05be able to check out the unit of my sudden.
03:06But if there's a change in the future, then I'm sure the
03:06way I'm sure the same thing that you make the
03:07you make that you make in the future.
03:07It's no matter.
