00:06drugs to furniture. In a post on Truth Social, Trump said starting next Wednesday, October 1st,

00:12the U.S. will impose a 100% tariff on imported branded drugs, a 25% tariff on imports of all

00:19heavy-duty trucks, 50% tariffs on kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities, and 30% for

00:25upholstered furniture. He claims a truck tariff will protect manufacturers from, quote,

00:30unfair outside competition. He says cabinet and furniture imports have surged to levels

00:36that are damaging American companies. The president is also threatening to expand the

00:40list, including new tariffs on lumber and semiconductors.
