00:00We're taking in so much money with the tariffs now that it's such a pleasure.
00:05Without it, we wouldn't be able to help you.
00:08We're making a country, we're the richest country in the world now.
00:12And, you know, we have a big decision.
00:15Hopefully we're going to get the right decision.
00:18Such a big thing in the Supreme Court right now.
00:20We have a lot of bad people opposed to those people that hate our country.
00:25Other countries are involved, some real sleazebags that I know, political sleazebags.
00:29And they're trying to take that away from us.
00:34We have other methods, but they're not as powerful.
00:38They're not as quick.
00:40Some of the wars that I solved wouldn't have been solved using those methods.
00:44So it's a very important thing, the tariff.
00:45The decision of the Supreme Court is a very important thing.
00:49And, Scott, we can do it other ways, but it's slow and it's cumbersome.
00:55And it doesn't have the power, it doesn't have the national security power that,
00:59well, we have.
01:00So I hope we're going to be successful.
01:01That's all I can tell you.
01:02Austin, please.
01:03Thank you, John.
01:04First of all, President, thank you for the selection of Brooke Rollins as Secretary of Agriculture.
01:09That was a big first step.
01:13You want to keep her?
01:14Absolutely.
01:15Can I butt in and second that?
01:18She's not only her, but her staff does a tremendous job.
01:22I agree.
01:23Remember eggs?
01:23Remember when we came in and the people in the media, I'm going to be nice, people in the media
01:30were three days into offices here, right?
01:33They say egg prices are up like 90% more than that.
01:37And I said, I just got here.
01:38I didn't know about it.
01:39I just don't know.
01:40Anyway, she got those prices down to below what they were before.
01:45She's doing a great job.
01:46Now beef is starting to come down and some other things are starting to come down.
01:50Again, we inherited these problems, but we're getting them down.
01:53Go ahead, please.
01:54You're a fact-based decision maker and the egg issue is where I learned about her.
01:58She said we're not going to use a vaccine that doesn't work.
02:00We're going to develop a vaccine that does.
02:02And that is 100% what it takes, and so we have to make decisions based on facts.
02:07And now, President Trump, the trade issues, I want to thank you for exposing what other
02:12countries are doing to us.
02:13I want to mention one specifically for the benefit of Kevin and Scott.
02:16I hope they're paying attention to it, but this European Union deforestation regulation,
02:21where they are imposing on our landowners rules that were established for Brazil,
02:27and now they're telling the American farmer what they can and can't do on their own land
02:32through this European Union deforestation regulation.
02:34Now what does that tell you?
02:37Explain that.
02:37They are telling the American farmer that if their timber is cut and they are going to use
02:43that land for pasture land or for production agriculture, that they will not take the timber
02:47or the byproducts from the sale of that timber.
02:50And I have talked with James a little earlier about we need to make it clear to Europe, Mr. President.
02:58If you could give me a two-paragraph statement on that, I will give that to them,
03:03and they will do what they have to do.
03:05Yes, sir.
03:06We're always helping them, and they do this kind of stuff.
03:10You know, they pass little regulations that cost billions of dollars.
03:14It takes them two minutes to do it, they do it.
03:18Very tough, no good.
03:19You give me a couple of paragraphs or so.
03:22We'll have to do a lengthy study, and I'll get that changed.
03:25Let's do it, Zebari.
