00:00You have Ty Simpson fresh off the victory over Diego Pavia and Vanderbilt.
00:05They're laying three and a half in Columbia, Missouri.
00:08We know Eli Drinkwitz and the crew have been stepping up.
00:12They've been taking names.
00:13All they do is win, baby, undefeated, 1-0 in the conference.
00:17This game, I think, potentially could sail through the 52 and a half.
00:21Last year, Alabama shut them out 34 to nothing in Tuscaloosa.
00:26But my best bet, forget the side.
00:28I think we get points aplenty.
00:30Give me over the 52 and a half in this ballgame, Coach.
00:34We've been thinking along the same lines.
00:36I also think I don't think Alabama will shut them out.
00:39I don't think Alabama's defense is quite as effective right now as their offense.
00:44But I do see Alabama's offense, the way Ty Simpson is playing at quarterback,
00:49and the way he's leading this team,
00:51and the fact that Mizzou still hasn't had a real difficult test against them.
00:56They've had five home games.
00:57They haven't played on the road.
00:59Another home game.
01:00They haven't played this kind of talent level.
01:03And, yes, they're probably the most underrated team in the SEC.
01:07It seems to go that way every year.
01:09But I like Alabama in this football game.
01:12I like them to cover the three-point spread.
01:15Yeah, we'll see.
01:15I think it's interesting as well because we know Ahmad Hardy is one of the best running backs
01:20in the conference and all of FBS, and that's got to be the matchup, I believe, on Saturday if you're Missouri.
01:26If you can run the football effectively the way we saw Singleton and Vanderbilt run it early on,
01:32they potentially could be in this matchup.
01:34They were completely shut down last year by a more consistent defense.
01:39Alabama enters this game, Coach, allowing opposing offenses to rush well over 150 yards per game.
01:46That has to be the matchup for Missouri entering this ballgame against, you could say, a suspect front seven in Alabama.
01:53Yeah, I'm glad you brought that up, but I missed that.
01:58Ahmad Hardy could be the key to Missouri either winning this game or keeping it close.
02:03If they don't slow him down and limit his yardage, Alabama's not going to get back on that field.
02:09And instead of a deep ball over top, he has the big play running ability to score from 50 yards out.
02:15So, again, I think he's probably the X factor in this game is not a quarterback.
02:19I think it's that running back that came from right here in Monroe, Louisiana, Ahmad Hardy.
02:25Yeah, Ahmad Hardy and that Missouri attack are averaging 292 rushing yards per game.
02:32When you look at Alabama, they're allowing opposing offenses to rush for 4.6 yards per carry and 155 rushing yards per game.
02:42That has to be the matchup for the Tigers to potentially win this ballgame outright as a three-and-a-half-point home underdog.
02:48When you look at Missouri as well, very good in third-down defense.
02:52Bo Pribula and that offense as well, very balanced.
02:55But defensively, Coach, at least up until this point, that front seven is very good in run support,
03:01holding opposing offenses to only 66 rushing yards per game.
03:06Yeah, but I do, again, I want to see Missouri again because they've had a fairly soft schedule so far.
03:12Some of their stats are a little inflated.
03:14Not that they aren't playing good.
03:16I just haven't seen a talented team offensively like they're going to see against Alabama.
