00:00I think we're pretty much of the understanding that Patriots at Seattle
00:06opening night, Wednesday, September 9th.
00:08Yep.
00:09Bad break for the Patriots.
00:10Don't you think?
00:11Yes, definitely.
00:12I mean, it was going to be a tough spot no matter what.
00:14I mean, going to Seattle is a tough pull in any given year,
00:18never mind the fact that they're good.
00:19And so that was good.
00:20It was never going to be an easy game.
00:22I just think if it were deeper into the year, you had a chance.
00:25The odds were greater that they would have injuries
00:27or would have slowed down a little bit.
00:30You know, the gas, the wind at their sails from the Super Bowl
00:32might have dissipated and you get a little Super Bowl hangover situation
00:36or whatever, you know, and obviously no guarantees there,
00:40but there would just be a chance of that.
00:42Opening night, they're going to be totally healthy,
00:44and whatever Super Bowl hangover they're going to have
00:46is going to be kind of mitigated by the banner going up
00:48and the crowd and the whole thing.
00:49We gave you the numbers yesterday.
00:51Since they started this thing in 2004 where the champion opens up
00:55on typically that Thursday night, now it's Wednesday, they're 16-5.
00:59And there's been some losses in recent years.
01:01That Rams team that got decimated after they won the Super Bowl in 2021,
01:04they got throttled by Buffalo, and then the Chiefs lost a squeaker
01:08to the Lions a few years ago.
01:09But more often than not, that home team that opens up,
01:13the defending champion, usually wins.
01:18So, let's get started.
01:18So, let's get started.
01:18And then, at the end, we'll be right back.
01:19So, let's get started.
01:19So, let's get started.
01:19You
