00:00His family and our GM, Joe Shane, for giving me the opportunity here to lead this team.
00:05This is a league of incredibly difficult situations, decisions, and I just have the
00:12utmost respect for Dave's and what he's done for me, not only as a friend, but as a coach.
00:16They're giving me an opportunity here to be an office coordinator, so I just wanted
00:21my thoughts worth it with him and his family, and I just appreciate the things he's done
00:25for me. I've learned a lot to do. In terms of where we're at right now, I'm excited to lead
00:31this group. I'm focusing each day, taking kind of just one step at a time with the players
00:36and the coaches and getting organized, but I'm excited and looking forward to the challenge.
00:42Just a couple things I would say is, first and foremost, I'm going to make Tim Kelly our
00:46offensive coordinator. Really smart coach, helped us tie in the run game, the pass game.
00:51He does a great job with a lot of good experiences to bank on. We're also going to put Jameis
00:56Winston as our starting quarterback, and he'll do a great job. I have a lot of confidence in
01:00Jameis, I have a lot of confidence in Russ, and he'll be the backup as Jackson works through
01:04the concussion protocol. I think our players are pros, right? They're pros, so my job is
01:12to get them in the best position to be successful and work through the week here and continue to
01:16make adjustments with the staff as we're going to continue to prep for Green Bay, which is
01:20really taking our time, making sure we cross our T's, dot our I's, put together our
01:27plan for the players, but that's really, at the end of the day, those are the guys that
01:30have been on my mind the last 48 hours.
