00:00The Independent Commission on Infrastructure is prioritizing the investigation of around 80 government flood control projects allegedly involved in irregularities.

00:10ICI Special Advisor and former PMP Chief Retired General Rodolfo Azurin announced this during a meeting at Camp Crame.

00:17He said that 15 to 18 contractors previously mentioned by President Ferdinand R. Marcus Jr. are linked to these questionable projects.

00:26The ICI will also visit Cebu to inspect flood-affected areas in central Cebu, Cebu City, and Mandawi, which remain heavily flooded despite P26 billion in allocated funds.

00:39Azurin said the commission aims to find out why flooding persists despite the massive government spending on flood control projects.
