00:08Yeah, really pleased for Ethan. He's done really well, worked hard and when he gets in front of the goal he took his goals really, really well.
00:15Tricky conditions and I think that sort of first half levelled it out a little bit.
00:20We just asked him to sort of step on it a little bit more and be a bit more ruthless which in the end we did and so got a 3-0 win.
00:28Yeah, tricky conditions and 1-0 at half time and you did sort of step it up in that second half as you asked for, didn't you?
00:35Yeah, I think first half they had a couple of chances and they were set up really well, they pressed quite well as well which we thought they would do.
00:43But yeah, second half they'd done exactly what we asked for and then we ended up taking a few late goals but made it a lot more comfortable to watch.
00:52And for Ethan to come in, obviously off the bench Saturday but his first start, hat-trick, all forwards, get up and running with a hat-trick, you must be buzzing.
01:00Yeah, no, being a forward myself, Joe and Light, it's important that he gels in the team which I think he has done and he's got a lot of pace with him.
01:09He feels really comfortable in front of the goal, he even had a goal disallowed which I didn't think he should have been so he could have had four tonight.
01:15Which is positive to see, I mean we've got Finn as well who's also been electric all season so it's a good mix.
01:21Yeah, I think it's been a great form obviously of the night off tonight and that's a good depth, you're sort of building now really isn't it?
01:27Yeah, I think I've said it before, like we've sort of bring players in and it hasn't sort of hindered our team at all.
01:34Like with Finn being out today, he picked up a little injury, normally you sort of panic as he obviously has been flying for us.
01:41But then Ethan's again stepped in and just done brilliant so yeah, it's pleasing.
01:45It's also been a relentless run off Saturday Tuesday Saturday Tuesday isn't it? You have needed everyone and it's paying dividends isn't it?
01:51Yeah, I mean to be fair I can't believe how many Saturday Tuesday games we've had, plus being down at the coast.
01:57So it's been a credit to the boys really how they performed, I think just shows you the squad depth that we've got, that we've done so well in this time.
02:05So hopefully now it eases off a little bit, we can get everyone sort of back in and then fight for places.
02:11And obviously it keeps this great run going, now eight wins and a draw in the last nine.
02:15I mean you just want to keep rolling with it really don't you?
02:17Yeah, I think every game I think we just look at it, it's like it's another three points, each three points.
02:22I think Crossy made a good point that even if you go and beat, I think we beat Hayes 7-0.
02:27That counts for nothing if you lose at home to say Hornene, so each three points are just as important as the next.
02:33You just keep ticking them off sort of one by one really isn't it?
02:36Yeah I think we just look at each game, we're not looking too far into anything.
02:39It's game by game, just go into the game, get your three points and then move on to the next one.
02:44And obviously confidence is going to be really high at the moment and then obviously at some point when that defeat might come,
02:50it will obviously all be about bouncing back and just keep going again mate.
02:53It won't come, no that's it.
02:56I mean if we can build, what we're looking to is just keep building, building, building.
03:00Then like you say if one comes in it's sort of not that much of an issue if you can then just end that there and then go on another run.
03:06So yeah, that's how we're looking at it.
03:08Obviously flying high in second and just obviously still a long way to go I'm sure and you're taking it game by game but just obviously feeling really positive at the moment.
03:15Yeah I mean everyone sort of says oh we don't look at, you do look at the league but you've got to just sort of look at it with a sort of level head and sort of go we're in a good position and credit to the boys that we're doing well but then you sort of can't get too excited and go oh we're going to do this we're going to do that.
03:34You could have like four or five games where you don't get the rub of the green and then you're back sort of where everyone's caught you back up and then you're not panicking but you're sort of you're not as comfortable as we are at the moment.
03:49And at 3-0 laughing sort of well in control just sort of good standards to comfortably see out that clean sheet as well which is obviously not a good marker.
03:56Yeah it's good for Galli, good for the defence as well to get that clean sheet so yeah it's a positive.
04:02I just thought it's now looking ahead to Saturday in Hendon, what are you expecting?
04:07Yeah Hendon are always going to be a difficult outfit to play against, I know a few of their players we've had a couple down here previously so we'll be switching on to them.
04:17Yeah and hopefully just go in there full of confidence and get out there and try and get the result.
