00:00Look, I'm kind of with you.
00:01I'm trying to, you know, Dan's question,
00:03I'm having a hard time to figure out what slows him down.
00:06And what defenses are trying to do, Brian,
00:08is to figure out how to slow Drake May down.
00:10You know, he's had three games in a row where he's been pressured
00:1350% of his dropbacks, and he's still balling out, Brian.
00:18How do you, I mean, if you're a defensive coordinator,
00:21you know, how do you stop Drake May?
00:23I mean, even though his completion was down,
00:25he still had the big plays.
00:26I mean, what would you do as a defensive coordinator
00:28to get this kid off his game?
00:31Now, honestly, like at this point, it's just amazing.
00:33Like sometimes, I said it a few weeks ago,
00:35it's hard to remember he's 23.
00:36He handles it so well.
00:38And the thing that I appreciated him this past week in Tampa,
00:41he took some shots.
00:42And these weren't, you know, the ones that we're always saying
00:44he's got to protect himself, he's got to slide.
00:46No, he was in the pocket.
00:48He hung in there.
00:48The Kyle Williams touchdown was a great example.
00:51Gets drilled as he's thrown.
00:52It throws an absolute dime.
00:54And then the play before he drops the go ball to Mac Collins,
00:58he got obliterated by Vito Vea.
01:00I mean, it was one of the hardest hits I've seen.
01:02And he just gets back up and drops a 55-yard dime down to Mac Collins,
01:08who, by the way, ran an incredible route, sold the in-cut,
01:11stemmed to the go route.
01:12I mean, honestly, I don't know.
01:14Obviously, we're going to, as the season goes on
01:17and they go deeper and deeper into this run that they're going to have,
01:20they're going to be challenged.
01:21But he handles it so well.
01:23He's so calm.
01:24He doesn't let a mistake hang with them.
01:26It's been so impressive.
01:27And ultimately, what gives me a lot of confidence going
01:30as they go towards this postseason run is the coaches that are around him,
01:34not just Rabel, but with McDaniels,
01:36what he's going to do in the game planning.
01:38He had Drake prepared for the blitzes.
01:40He had an incredible conversion to Pop Douglas on a blitz
01:44where they blitzed.
01:45He replaced them.
01:46It was a big play.
01:47It just seems to me like he's seeing everything really well.
01:49All right.
